Epson scoffed. âYou make him sound so mysterious. His formalism is too extreme. He only treats two patients a month? I donât think he only treats two people a month when his husband, son and father all get sick at the same time. Would he let them die? How ridiculous!â
âHahahaha!â
The others laughed as well.
Epson was not very popular with the students. He deliberately gave convoluted lectures to emphasize that he was different from the others, making everyone unable to understand his lectures.
Even Oscar had to listen carefully. If he got a little distracted, he would not be able to keep up. Therefore, Epson had always had a demon class in school. He was arrogant and proud. The project he requested could not be completed by himself, but he did not want anyone to take a share of the credit. Now that someone had finally invested in his project, he finally had some results and had long since moved up.
If he didnât know Anti and didnât have his contact details, he would have gone to Anti long ago!
What he was going to treat was a difficult problem in the medical world!
It was said that Anti had been researching this difficult problem for some years. However, so far there had been no results.
Epson now wished he could announce to the world that he was a hundred times better than Anti.
At first, Nora didnât mind his teasing, but when she heard âhusband, son and fatherâ, she frowned.
He shouldnât speak ill of his family, shouldnât he be a little considerate when speaking ill of others?
He got up and was about to go and teach Epson a lesson when the door kicked open.
Epson and the students exclaimed, âWho are you? What school are you from?â
Nora was arching her eyebrows when she heard a familiar female voice say charmingly, âTsk, listen carefully, you can learn from me. Call me âMother. Come, learn from me.â
âââMotherâ¦.âââ
Epson and the other students were at first very attentive to that woman who had suddenly burst in, but upon hearing her charming voice, they unconsciously repeated her words.
âMy goodness, my stupid children!â
The woman smiled.
It was then that Epson and the other students realized they had been taken for a ride. Instantly they were furious and shouted, âBitch!â
Epson was furious, but he was a teacher after all. So he asked, âWhat are you doing, do you have something against us?â
The woman scoffed. âI hold no grudge against you, but the Anti you speak of is my sister-in-law. Of course, I canât stand it when you speak ill of her! Youâd better apologize to her or elseâ¦â
Thud!
With the sound of a glass bottle shattering, Brenda said domineeringly, âNo one is getting out of here unscathed today!â
In the private room next door.
Hearing Brendaâs voice, Nora found it unbelievable.
Wasnât Brenda in New York?
Why was she in Switzerland?
She was about to leave the room and join Brenda when her phone rang again.
She picked it up and heard Soloâs voice on the other end. âAnti, jeez!â
Nora: â?â
This guy was always full of energy when he called her. Why was he sighing the moment he called? It sounded like something was wrong, wasnât Solo in New York?
She frowned. âWhatâs wrong?â
âDo you know where your sister-in-law is?â
Soloâs voice was languid. âSuddenly I canât reach her. We were fine at first, but she suddenly suggested breaking up with me. Now, sheâs gone.â
Solo continued, âI want to ask her in person why she left without saying goodbye. What did she say? She said sheâs always been a free woman. She said she was just playing with me for a while, but I donât buy it. Who the hell wants to play with someone by giving up their first time?â
Nora: âHer first time?â
Brenda liked to play and she liked handsome men. She flirted with any man she saw, so Nora thought Brenda had done it a long time ago. Was it really her first time?
She just said, âYes, Iâm sure it was her first time, with me! Why?â
