Mrs. Hunt immediately reprimanded Lauren angrily. “What kind of explanation do you want from them? Nora didn’t grow up with the Smiths at all, what kind of responsibility could the Smiths have? Don’t talk nonsense – even if the engagement is called off, the cooperative relationship between the two families is not going to change! After all, the children belong to both of them. Lauren pursed her lips in disdain.

However, she didn’t dare argue with Elder Mrs. Hunt. In this family, only with the approval of the old lady could she go any further.

He said, “Yes, yes, you are right. Nora is not equivalent to the Smiths….. I’m just afraid the Smiths will fight over custody of the children once they call off their engagement.”

Lauren sighed. “Ian Smith is not someone who gives in easily.” Elder Mrs. Hunt scoffed, “The Smith Corporation now belongs to Joel Smith. Will he want Pete to go there and compete with his sons for the family’s assets?”

Lauren, however, was still manipulating the conversation. “But Ian is still around…”

Elder Mrs. Hunt looked at her sternly. “It’s precisely because Ian is still around that we must talk it over with them properly! Everything is negotiable! However, the fault is not ours in this matter!”

Elder Mrs. Hunt was right.

Nora raised her eyebrows. She had just woken up, so her lips were a bit dry. She licked them a bit before slowly answering, “Yes, Q was there.”

Lauren teased, “There you go.”

Justin looked at her, then said unhurriedly and without pause, “I was in the villa too.”

Lauren scoffed. “Justin, are you still defending her when things have already gotten to this point? Were you in the villa too? What were you doing there? Surely you weren’t there just to watch them snuggle up to each other, were you? Or maybe you’re trying to say that Q only stayed there temporarily? Why does Q have to stay at Nora’s villa when the Smiths have so many houses?

“Also don’t bother coming up with some excuse that Q is a security guard or something. Would Q act as a security guard for you guys when he’s such an amazing hacker? Stop your terrible attempts to cover up the truth.”

Elder Mrs. Hunt also spoke earnestly. “Justin, don’t defend her anymore. I know what is troubling you. Don’t worry, I’ll give you my share. With Grandma here, I will not allow your father to bully you again! As for the Smiths… Let’s move on. There is no need for you to suffer such grievances.”

Elder Mrs. Hunt’s heart was really aching for him. She thought her grandson only put up with it because of the Smiths or the children.

After all, Justin was a man of great tolerance.

Just then the butler came in. When he saw them, he paused for a moment before saying, “Sir, there are some reporters outside. They would like to interview you about… the infi… Miss Smith, who was discovered in a villa.”

Elder Mrs. Hunt breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at Nora and said, “Let’s go together! We’ll clear things up today.”

She took the lead.

Nora and Justin followed her leisurely.

Suddenly, Lauren approached Nora and asked with a soft laugh, “Ms. Smith, I know it’s not appropriate for me to ask something like this, but is Q handsome? I can’t help it; master hackers like Q and Y are just too mysterious, so I’m really curious!”

Although she said she was asking out of curiosity, she was simply trying to bring up Q to upset Justin!
