Everyone gasped when they heard it.
Princess Lucy of the United Kingdom?
Who was she?
They all looked at Justin, wondering if the Hunts had now reached such a height that they could even get the British Royal Family to visit them in person and offer well wishes to their children for their birthday.
It should be known that the Royal Family did not easily establish good relations with wealthy families.
As everyone marveled, someone asked, âMr. Hunt, when did you become friends with the British Royal Family?â
Justin, however, frowned. Unlike the others, the arrival of the princess did not unnerve him. Instead, he calmly instructed the butler, âEveryone visiting is a guest. Show her in.â
ɢαlиÏvÑâÑ.cоm has the newest content âYes, sir!â
Replied the butler. Then, with his head down, he went back outside.
When the butler left, Mrs. Livingstone looked at Cherry. âWhat country does your Great Aunt live in?â
Cherry cocked her head. âThe United Kingdom!â
Mrs. Livingstone covered her mouth and laughed. âGee, you want to see that? If you had known that Mr. Hunt knew the British Royal Family, it would have been so impressive that you would have gotten the Princess to give you a present instead!â In other words, he was implying that the Smiths had screwed up.
Even if they wanted to give her the gem, they should have gotten someone with high social status to give it to her instead. Only then would it show that Nora was really impressive.
But as soon as she said that, Justin said, âI donât know them.â
To be honest, he did know them.
However, the one he knew was not Princess Lucy, but her mother, that is, the Queen of the United Kingdom.
But he clearly remembered that he had not sent an invitation to the Queen because he wanted to keep the party low profile. Besides, the childrenâs fifth birthday was no big occasion either.
Could it be that the Queen â who was one chip short of being a Happy Meal â had found out about his childrenâs birthday and sent the Little Princess to please him?
However, that was impossible⦠Her identity shouldnât have been exposed yet. As Justin thought about it with a frown, the butler had already ushered in the distinguished guests.
A blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl entered. She was fair-skinned and her large eyes were bright and sparkling. Her shoulder-length curly hair was slicked back slightly, and her formal dress that cinched her waist made her look slim and elegant.
Although she was only five years old, so her body had not yet grown and developed, the Princess looked like a doll, and she was extraordinarily beautiful!
Behind the Princess were a few bodyguards dressed in professional clothes. They guarded the surroundings and protected the Princess.
When Lucy entered, her large eyes blinked and she looked around.
Although she was young, her every movement had an air of nobility and elegance about it.
Justin stepped forward and approached Lucy. He asked the attendant standing next to him, âWhy is the Princess suddenly visiting our humble abode?â
Princess Lucy was too young, so Justin didnât bother to greet the girl.
Besides, since she was so young, her attendants could surely speak something on her behalf.
With a smile, the attendant replied, âRelax, Mr. Hunt. Her Highness just found out itâs her close friendâs birthday, so sheâs come to visit.â
As soon as he said that, Justin narrowed his eyes.
The people around him who had overheard the attendant were also surprised.
The birthday of the Princessâs close friend?
They all turned and looked at Cherry, Pete and Xander once again.
So which one of them was a friend of the Princess?
Mrs. Livingstone didnât hear the exchange, so she was still a bit stunned. She was standing off to the side and talking to Cherry.
âDo you see that Princess over there? There is grace in her every action. Thatâs the self-confidence that only a good family can provide. Too bad you didnât grow up in a good environment. Even if you are the Huntâs youngest, you donât have a bearing as outstanding as hers! Surely a few months ago you wouldnât even dare to imagine that youâd get to see a Princess, would you?â
Cherry: â?â
Everyone around her: â?â
They all looked at Mrs. Livingstone as if they were looking at an idiot!
Mrs. Livingstone didnât understand why everyone was looking at her. Instead, she kept talking smugly. âWhy are you all looking at me like that, am I wrong? You people donât have the nerve to say these things, but I do! And itâs not just Cherry, but Miss Smith too. Never mind, itâs no good growing up in a family like thisâ¦â Seeing her making a one-woman show over there, Cherry gave her a shove and said, âExcuse me, Granny, youâre blocking my way!â
Mrs. Livingstone, who had been pushed, stumbled away.
She looked over and criticized Cherry furiously. âThatâs very rude of you, Cherry, how can you treat your elders like that? You should learn from Princess Lucy, look at her behavior and manners! â¦â
She had just spoken when she saw Cherry, with joy on her face, lift up her little skirt and run past her.
On the other side, Lucy, too, had at last found the little friend she knew so well between the adult legs. Her eyes lit up and she too ran towards her.
