Pete glared at him. “I’d rather be controlled by her for the rest of my life!”

Xander was stunned to hear this.

The little boy suddenly fell silent. He couldn’t help but ask again, ‘Is a mother really that important to a person? Didn’t you just meet your mom? You didn’t have her for the last five years either.’

Xander’s face tightened as he looked back and continued, “They haven’t attacked yet, but it looks like they haven’t come to an agreement. They’re about to attack. Forget it, I’m in a good mood today and I don’t want to kill anyone. I’m going to save your mother.”

With that, he pushed Pete aside and quietly opened the car door before getting out.

He moved forward one step at a time.

He was already very afraid when he saw the backs of the two bodyguards.

Xander was already shaking with fear when he heard her words.

He swallowed hard and looked at Nora. He shouted, “Pete’s mom, run fast! I’ll spare your life today.”

With that, she looked back at the bodyguards. “I said they’re not allowed to hurt you!”

The bodyguard chuckled softly and bent down to hold his collar. Xander immediately stood up.

His feet left the ground and kicked in the air as he looked at the bodyguard in fear.

Pete, I helped you save your mom!

But where was his mother?

No sooner had this thought crossed his mind than he suddenly heard a deep, cold voice. “You’re looking to get yourself killed.”

Xander was stunned.

He wanted to know who was looking to get him killed, so he turned and saw that Nora’s expression had turned dark. Her almond-shaped eyes were filled with coldness.

His gaze fixed on the hand of the bodyguard holding him, and he quickly took a step forward.

Another bodyguard had already jumped in front of them. “Miss Smith, we are lecturing the boy on behalf of Mr. Yale. You needn’t worry. I’ll play with you…”

Xander: “!!!”.

Why was Pete’s mother so stupid, she still wanted to fight!

Xander was placed on the ground in a daze. Then, he saw the bodyguard, who had held him like a pillar, exchange only three blows with the woman before he was slammed to the ground.

Then, he saw the woman send him flying away with a kick. Her body left a long mark on the ground.

The two bodyguards who could subdue Butterscotch and could never be defeated in his eyes fell to the ground and vomited blood, unable to get up.

Then, the woman looked at him and walked towards him.

The sun behind her was about to set. It emitted a dazzling red light and shone a warm light on this woman.

At that moment, Xander suddenly had an idea.
