Nora stared at Mrs. Livingstone and said, “You have no problem.”

Mrs. Livingstone was stunned. She hadn’t expected this answer, so she asked again, “What do you mean, you don’t have any problem? If there’s no problem, why can’t she get pregnant?”.

Nora looked at Helen and asked, “Has her family been blessed with male children?”

Hearing this, Helen looked at Mrs. Livingstone and nodded.

Mrs. Livingstone scoffed. “Back then, our family took a liking to her family because they were blessed with sons. That’s why we married her into our family-her oldest sister always gave birth to triplets! Her second sister was even more ridiculous. She had triplets and even quadruplets. Our family no longer longs for that. Can’t she at least give birth to one? But it’s been three years, and not a shadow of a child! How good for nothing! Or is she a mutant of her family’s genes?”

Mrs. Livingstone was really anxious.

When Helen came into the family, she had wanted to hug six children in three years. It was just perfect. She could also break the curse of her family’s third generation.

That was why, when they were first married, she had been affectionate with Helen. The two had lived in harmony for half a year. Half a year later, Helen’s stomach still hadn’t changed. Her attitude changed drastically. He started urging her and found all kinds of recipes for her to eat.

Helen put her head down.

She didn’t know what was wrong with her or why she couldn’t conceive.

She had been to many doctors, taken many medications and even used many methods, but none of them worked.

She was already trying to have test-tube babies.

But the procedure for the test tube baby was too painful.

She had to take ovulation injections every month….

As I was thinking, I hear Nora say, “Mrs. Livingstone, it takes two people to conceive a child. It’s not your fault.”

When she said this, Mrs. Livingstone was stunned.

She reacted for a moment before suddenly understanding. She was stunned. “What do you mean, you’re suspecting something is wrong with my son?” Helen also looked up suddenly.

She bit her lip.

In fact, she had raised this question a few times over the years, but Mrs. Livingstone always teased and interrupted her. “There’s nothing wrong with my son. You can’t give birth, so you blame the man? He only provides the sperm. It must be your problem.”

She had seen many doctors. Most of the doctors had persuaded her to let her husband go with them, but Mrs. Livingstone and her husband never listened to her. They even teased her every time.

Her husband would sneer and say, “Five years ago I got a girl pregnant. If it wasn’t because her status was low and because she was with me only for my money, I would have married her long ago. Now, you dare to doubt me! Ridiculous.”

So, the Livingstones had never admitted that there was anything wrong with her, and they had never made her husband visit the doctor.

She looked at Mrs. Livingstone and bit her lip. “Grandma, let him come and get it checked out. Miss Smith’s medical knowledge is superb. Just by taking my pulse, she could tell that my family is endowed with children…”

“Shut up!” shouted Mrs. Livingstone angrily.

Helen bit her lip and plucked up courage to say, “Grandmother, I have suffered so much all these years to have a child, but I have never said a word about those hardships! But don’t you want to have a child? If it is really about my husband, can’t you let Miss Smith treat him as soon as possible?”

These words made Mrs. Livingstone’s eyes narrow. Beside her, Mrs. Hunt said, “Helen is right. Ask your great-nephew to come. Miss Smith is Doctor Zabe’s disciple and a godly surgeon, Anti. If there is no problem, of course, it will be a happy ending. If there really is a problem, it will be easier to deal with it sooner rather than later!”

Mrs. Livingstone was silent for a moment. When she saw that even Elder Mrs. Hunt had spoken, she could only say, “Even if I called him, he wouldn’t come!”

Mrs. Hunt frowned. “Tell him I want to see him!”

Mrs. Hunt was Justin’s grandmother and was well respected. The other party would not dare ignore her command.

Mrs. Livingstone nodded with a smile and then looked at Helen. She picked up her phone and went to the side to make a call.

After going to the side, Nora looked at Elder Mrs. Hunt.

Elder Mrs. Hunt was sitting looking very weak and a little pale. No matter the reason, she was really good with Pete. Nora walked over to her and said nothing. She took his hand and checked his pulse.

Elderly Mrs. Hunt was stunned.

She stared at Nora.

The woman’s almond-shaped eyes were closed and her long eyelashes hung over her face. She was obedient, sensitive and beautiful. When her eyes were closed, she looked like a peaceful fairy in a beautiful portrait.

This appearance really made the heart soften.

I was thinking when Nora suddenly opened her eyes. A hint of coldness shot out of them. She removed the gentleness from before and became a little more firm and indifferent.

Elder Mrs. Hunt quickly withdrew her gaze and listened to her tsk. “Don’t worry. You won’t die soon.”

Elderly Mrs. Hunt: “…”

After getting so old, hearing things about life and death was the last thing she wanted. Nora’s words stabbed at her heart.

Elder Mrs. Hunt snorted, “There’s so much going on at home, how can I not worry? So, can you get married early and raise that illegitimate son of Justin’s as your own? That way, I’ll be fine too…”

Before he could finish speaking, Nora suddenly turned around and headed for the fish tank in the room.

Elderly Mrs. Hunt: “…”

So… Her obedience and sensitivity from before were fake!

Helen saw Nora walking alone. She thought about it and followed her to her side.

She whispered, “Thank you.”

Nora raised her eyebrows. “It’s just my job.”

Helen smiled bitterly. “I’ve seen a lot of doctors. Every time they raise this issue, I ask them to tell my mother-in-law, but she doesn’t agree…you’re the only one who can persuade her.”

When Nora heard this, she gave him a warning. “There may be nothing wrong with your husband. Maybe it’s for psychological reasons that they couldn’t get you pregnant for a long time.”

Helen nodded. “I know. I just wanted him to get checked out…”

Half an hour later, a loud argument came from outside the door. A man shouted, “You called me just to give me a checkup? Mom, I think Helen’s crazy, how can I be sick?”

Mrs. Livingstone whispered, “I know you’re not sick too, but that Miss Smith is a divine doctor. You should let her take a look at you. It is also your Great Aunt’s wish.”

Hearing this, the man scoffed. “Sure, let’s go check it out. If there’s nothing wrong with me, Then our family can let Helen go! She can’t even have a child, is she even a woman?”

A man in his twenties was wearing a suit, but he looked very greasy. He said this as he walked in.

After he came in, he looked at Nora.

He walked over and sneered at her. He reached out and let Nora take his pulse. “Helen, you don’t want to admit you have a problem, do you? All right, I’ll make you give up today!”
