Cherry was puzzled for a moment, as it seemed she had just realized she hadnât asked the boy his name yet. She asked, âHey, whatâs your name?â
âMy name?â The boy sounded awfully cheeky. He said, âMy name is made up of three syllables. The first is âaâ, the second is âbueâ and the third is âloâ.â
Cherry was taken aback. âGrandpa?â
âYes, Iâm here!â the boy quickly replied. âHello, my granddaughter!â
Cherry: ââ¦â She was furious. âWhy are you so mean!â
âHahaha! Okay, I wonât tease you anymore. My last name is Yale and my first name is Dad.â
âDad Yale?â
âWatch how you talk to your daddy, girl!â
Cherry was furious. She was about to hang up when he said, âOkay, okay, I wonât tease you anymore. I canât tell you my name; you can call me âbig brotherâ.â
Pete made a long face. âHavenât you had enough?â The other boy replied, âYes I have. At least, I donât want to be your brother, I just want to be Cherryâs.â
Nora, who was listening to the conversation next to them, ââ¦â
Nora had thought Cherry was already very cheeky. She talked all day long and was very naughty, plus she wasnât as well-behaved or level-headed as Pete. But compared to the other boy, Cherry was simply too nice.
Besides, Cherry didnât use such foul language!
gⱯlnÏνð®âsï¼cððº, a world of tales Nora frowned. It was logical that she didnât feel any affection for that boy, but for some reason, hearing the young, tender voice acting like an adult, she didnât really feel annoyed or upset.
Noraâs voice was very low when she asked, âChild, has your father returned?â
She remembered that the boy had said the other time that he had no mother, only a father.
Wasnât his father going to discipline him if he behaved like that?
The boy replied, âHeâs back. Who are you?â Cherry immediately said, âItâs my mom.â
âOh, the queen of sleep?â
Nora: â?â
She looked directly at Cherry, only to see the little girlâs eyes avert and look elsewhere.
Ah.
Nora looked down and said, âKids shouldnât use such foul language, okay?â
âYeah, right, like that!â The boy looked a little angry. He replied, âDo you know why Tomâs grandmother lived to be 108?â.
Nora: â?â
âBecause she never meddles in other peopleâs business Do you think you can lecture me when even my father hasnât said anything?â
Noraâs eyes turned cold. She was about to say something when Pete suddenly lost his temper. âApologize to my mother!â
âI wonât! Why should I?â
Pete snorted coldly. âIf you donât, then Cherry and I wonât talk to you anymore!â
âSo be it. Iâve got nothing to lose anyway, do you think Iâm afraid of you?â
Pete looked at Cherry.
Cherry had gotten angry, too. To be honest, Cherry was actually the most protective of Nora out of the few. She immediately said, âIf you donât apologize, then we wonât talk to you anymore!â.
âHmph! Then this friendship is over.â
Cherry immediately hung up on him when the little guy said that.
Cherry was a little upset. She stared at the phone for a while before she finally looked at Nora and said, âMommy, itâs too bad. Donât be mad.â
How was Nora going to be mad at a child?
She ruffled Cherryâs hair and nodded silently. Then she went downstairs for dinner.

Later.
The boy called back after the call was disconnected. Cherry rejected the call. However, the boy persevered and called back. Cherry again rejected the call.
In another country.
In a dark and dreary room somewhere, barely any light illuminated the room. Only the light from a bulb illuminated the basement.
A boy who looked like Justin was sitting at a desk. He was staring at his phone and silently watching the screen that indicated his call had been disconnected. She couldnât help but twist her lips in disdain. âHmph. How dare she keep rejecting my calls. She must be sick of living.â
He tossed the phone aside. Then he glanced at the rabbits, puppies and kittens in the cages outside.
He got up, walked over and squatted down in front of a rabbit.
The rabbit was on the verge of death.
The little guy was silent for a while. Then he said, âNo. 3, are you still alive? You must stay strong.â
The bunnyâs ears twitched, but it did not get up.
The boy sighed. âYouâve had your heart cut out. It turns out that dog #3 next to you has an extra heart. Tell me, if I put his heart in your chest, will you be able to live?â. The little bunny stood still and quiet, his eyes closed.
The boy reached out his arm and stroked its head as he threatened, âYou must not die. If you die, I will turn you into rabbit stew, do you hear me? No. 3.â
The rabbit remained motionless.
The boy slowly let out a sigh. Then he looked at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 to the side.
He rested his chin on his hand and said, âI did a search on the Internet. The doctor who can best perform organ transplants now is Anti, a woman. I wonder if I will be successful if I learn from her.â
He was babbling continuously to himself when someone suddenly opened the door.
Then, in walked a large, tall figure.
The light behind the man covered his face in the darkness, so that his appearance could not be clearly seen.
However, the boyâs eyes lit up. âDad, are you back?â
âYes, Iâm back.â The man laughed with some mischief. His voice also sounded high pitched. He asked, âXander, do you want to go to the United States?â
The little boy was surprised. âAmerica? What for? I donât want to go, Dad. I just want to stay here.â
His fifteen rabbits and countless dogs and cats were still waiting for him to master the medical skills to save them. However, the man said, âTsk, what am I going to do then? Someone has held your aunt in New York, AND theyâve demanded that you go take her place!â
Xander scoffed and said casually, âIâm not going! Whoever wants to go there can go in her place!â

After lunch, Nora looked at her phone and discovered that Justin had sent her some messages.
She called him.
Justin quickly answered. The manâs voice was low and a little raspy when he asked, âAre you awake?â
âYes.â replied Nora. She stretched and asked, âWhatâs wrong?â
âDo you remember who gave you the children then?â.
Nora frowned at the question.
At the time, Henry had considered her pregnancy a scandal, so she had never had any maternity checkups. Even until she gave birth, she had never had any checkups.
She replied, âItâs a small clinic, I donât remember anymore, why?â
Justin was silent for a moment. At first he had wanted to hide it from her, but when he suddenly thought about Noraâs abilities and her identity, he accepted it. Thus, he voiced his guess. âNora, is there any chance that you actually gave birth to triplets back then?â
