The taste of roast duck still lingered in Noraâs mouth when the man aggressively invaded her territory.
His cool, crisp breath instantly overwhelmed her sense of smell.
It wasnât the first time Nora had kissed Justin, but her heart still felt like it was racing a little. Maybe because the situation this time was different than the last?
While she was distracted, she was bitten on the lower lip, which brought her back to reality. The man released her.
His voice was very low and deep. âWhatâs on your mind?â
There seemed to be displeasure in his voice.
galnÏvÑðµs.ð¬ð¸m â your update hub Those deep-set eyes of his were terribly deep and bottomless, as if the vast universe was contained within them, making one unable to see through them or guess his thoughts.
Nora rarely found her presence suppressed by others, but at this moment, his had somewhat suppressed hers, putting her at a disadvantage. It seemed that his aloofness was a form of disrespect for what they were doing.
The thought took her a little by surprise and she said, âIâm sorryâ¦â
She wanted to say something else, but Justin had already leaned in and sealed his lips again.
The mood in the room became amorous.
The room was clearly very spacious, but Nora still felt like there wasnât enough air in the room.
She felt like she was about to suffocate.
She gave Justin a slight pushâ¦. but the man, instead, grabbed her hands, taking complete control of the situation and taking the initiative.
For a moment, Justin felt a little strange to Nora at this instant.
He had always been cooperative and obedient in front of her, but at this moment, it felt like the man was pushing her. Even his kiss had become a little more aggressive than beforeâ¦.
This made her feel as if she was about to be conquered.
Her fingers, which were holding Justinâs shoulders, curled slightly and she gripped his shoulders tightlyâ¦..
Suddenly, Justin wrapped his arms around Noraâs waist and pulled her into his lap.
Nora: â!â
She found the position a little embarrassing.
She wanted to protest and said, âIâm not Cherry? Mm!â
It was a pity that the rest of her words were once again swallowed by Justin.
A waiter stood in the doorway with a plate in his hands as he listened to the suggestive sounds from inside the private room. Her cheeks turned red and she wasnât quite sure if she should go in or not.

At the Smiths.
Ian sat in the living room, craning his neck and looking out the door. Joel and Tanya were having dinner with Mia and Pete. When they saw what he was doing, they couldnât help but ask, âDad, what are you looking at? Noraâs only been gone an hour.â
ââ¦She can do a lot in an hour!â
Joel: â?â
What Joel had meant was that, considering how bad the traffic was in New York, driving out to lunch would take at least half an hour. Add to that another half hour to order and get her food served, and Nora would have barely started eating at that point.
What the hell was Ian thinking?
The corners of her lips twitched and she moved closer to Ian. Thinking about how Ian had told him earlier that Justin shouldnât be offended, he suddenly said, âActually, I think Nora may not like Justin as much as you think she does.â
Ian: â?â
His eyes instantly lit up and he looked at Joel. âTell me more.â
Joel: ââ¦â
That expression of his was too obvious!
The corners of his lips twitched again. He sat down across from Ian and said, âNora seems to like Y, the Hunt Corporation hacker. Thatâs what she said the other time.â
The news of how Q hacked the special department and told them he liked Y had already reached his ears.
Then, he thought about the other time he had gone to the hospitalâ¦. Quentin had hinted that Nora seemed to have someone she liked, but it wasnât Justin. Besides, the two of them were even addressing each other as husband and wife.
When he thought about it like that, even Joel was a little confused. âWho exactly does Nora like?â
Ian was also stunned to hear that. It seemed to him the most baffling question in the world.
Pete, who hadnât heard anything, appeared silently beside the two of them. He hadnât heard what they were talking about.
Instead, he only heard them say that Mom seemed to be entangled with three different menâ¦.
Suddenly he asked, âAre those three men good looking?â. Both Joel and Ian were taken aback. Joel thought about his question. Quentin had said that the man Nora liked was a good-looking guy⦠so he probably wasâ¦.
âHe probably is, I guess!â
Joel replied hesitantly.
When he said that, Pete let out a quiet sigh and said, âItâs over.â
âWhatâs wrong?â
Pete replied, âI finally understand why Cherry likes so many guys at once. Turns out itâs because she gets it from Mom.â
And to think Mom liked so many people. Would the tyrant then stand a chance?
Both Ian and Joel were stunned at his words. Joel hesitated for a moment before looking at Ian. âSo⦠Nora has cheated on Justin?â.
Ian: ââ¦â
Oh no, why was he suddenly feeling so good?
He hurriedly coughed and tried to hide his beaming smile. He said, âWhat do you mean she cheated on him? The two of them arenât engaged yet. Noraâs just making some friends and having some relationships, thatâs all!â.
Joel: ââ¦â
Pete: ââ¦â
A speechless Joel reminded him, âYou were the one who just told me not to offend Mr. Hunt.â
The subtext: âShouldnât you remind Nora too?â
But unexpectedly, the moment he said that, Ian nodded and said, âYes, so you need to keep a good relationship with him. That way, when the truth comes out in the future, you could at least ask him for a favor when you lose to him in a fight.â
Joel: â???â
Was Ian telling her to build a connection with Justin just so he could make use of it in the future?

In the private room, neither Nora nor Justin knew of the sensation their various secret identities had caused in the Smith household, let alone that Noraâs image as a womanizer was settling in among the Smiths.
When the two parted, Nora was still in a daze.
She could see Justinâs chest heaving up and down, as if he was trying hard to suppress somethingâ¦..
There was actually an aesthetically pleasing sense of withdrawal in his appearance, which made Nora swallow saliva. She reached for the bowl of soup beside her and drank a spoonful in an attempt to calm the sudden fluttering of her heart.
âNora, letâs get engaged,â Justin suddenly said with his gaze as scorching as before.
Nora stirred the soup in the bowl with a spoon. A while later, she finally smiled and said, âOkay.â
Hearing her reply, Justin smiled and said, âI suddenly feel a little sorry.â
Nora: â?â
âIf I had known you were going to agree so easily, I would have said, âLetâs get marriedâ instead.â
Nora rolled her eyes and said, âDonât push your luck.â
Her look didnât bother Justin in the least. He merely prepared another roast duck wrapper for her and held it up to her mouth. âHere, have some more as a refill.â
Nora: ââ¦â
What kind of refill was he talking about?
She bit into the roast duck wrapper viciously, and also bit his fingers deliberately so he could see her begging for mercy. But in the end, the man just looked at her.
In fact, the man even straightened his fingers and twisted them in his mouth.
Nora: ââ¦â
Nora bit down a little harder. The manâs eyebrows drew together slightly, causing her heart to soften. She could only let go of his hand. When she let go, she heard a low chuckle from the man.
Suddenly, something occurred to Nora and she asked out of the blue, ââ¦Did you wash your hands before dinner?â.
Justin: â?????â
There was no doubt about it: the woman was definitely an expert at ruining the mood! The womanâs words had completely quenched all the desire that had just been ignited in him.
He took a deep breath, rolled up another roast duck wrapper and put it in front of his mouth. He said fiercely, âEat!â. A beaming Nora ate another bite.
With someone serving her so kindly, it seemed that even such an annoying way of eating had become less of a waste of time. After the meal, she picked up her phone and glanced at it: two hours had passed.
It was the longest meal heâd ever had.
He got up, stretched and said, âLetâs go home.â
Justin nodded and got up too. As the two of them were about to leave the private room, Justin asked, âAre you full?â
âYes.â
Was there any way she wasnât?
Justin had been feeding her the whole time, offering her wrap after wrap, which had left her all too satisfied.
In a polite gesture, Nora also asked, âAre you full?â
âNo.â
The man opened his mouth with pleasure, which surprised Nora. She looked at the unfinished food on the table. Just as she was about to tell him to eat some more, the man murmured in her ear, âI didnât get to eat anything. Iâve only tasted a little.â
Nora: â?â
She suspected the man was playing with words.
She left the room with a flushed face. The moment she stepped out, she saw a woman with straight black hair approaching from the opposite end. She had a smile on her round face, and there were two dimples in her cheeks as she smiled. The woman, who was a little startled to see Nora, said, âMiss Smith?â
It was Ruth.
Nora frowned. The next moment, however, she noticed the womanâs gaze land on Justin, who was standing behind her. Then, her eyes lit up.
Nora: â?â
She suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.
In an almost unconscious movement, she took a step forward and positioned herself between Ruth and Justin, as if to isolate Ruthâs brazen gaze. It was to no avail, however, because Ruth suddenly stepped around her, stepped forward and looked at Justin eagerly. âJustin, long time no see!â Then, amidst Noraâs astonishment, she asked, âDo you still remember me!â.
Nora: â?????â
So, did Justin really know Ruth? No, wait⦠What was going on?
