After Heather said this sarcastically, she saw that Nora was looking at her with a slight smile.

It was as if she was watching a clown making a fool of himself.

He patted Tanya’s shoulder and pulled out his phone. He opened the video player app. There were a few videos inside. They were all taken from the surveillance cameras in the garden.

At first, her classmates pushed her away.

After all, children were very simple and thought that the granddaughter of a bad person must be another bad person.

Mia was really very sad.

However, after five minutes, Pete walked in with the Math Olympiad book in his arms. He only took a few casual glances before approaching Mia and sitting down next to her.

He quickly walked over and sat down near Mia.

Pete looked at the approaching children and pursed his lips. “Are you all cowards?”

“Of course not!”

A group of children quickly gathered around.

They surrounded Pete and Mia as they watched Mia rebuild the Lego toy. She learned to dance, was agile and had fast fingers. Soon she was using the Lego pieces to build the little princess from Frozen. It was very realistic.

“Wow, Mia, you did a good job!”

“Mia, can you show me?”

“I like Elsa! Build another Elsa!”

Mia blushed and said, “But there aren’t enough Legos.”

“Here’s more!”

One of the children pulled out his own Legos and handed them to Mia. “My Legos are all here! Mia, hurry up. I want to see Elsa.”

The group of brats that had previously made Mia feel annoyed now dragged their chins as they watched Mia meticulously build the Lego models. The mood became cheerful. When the lego was finished, the group of children surrounded Mia and clapped.

“Mia, you’re amazing!”

“I want to play with you next class!”

Hearing this, Pete stood up and pursed his lips. “They’re such wimps. Their mommies have scared them a little and they didn’t dare play with Mia anymore. Mia will ignore them now, because the world of the strong doesn’t need cowards.”

With that, he took Mia’s hand and left.

The other children looked at each other and stayed where they were.

The surveillance cameras could only see Mia and Pete’s backs. Suddenly, Mia stopped in her tracks and looked at Pete. “Brother Pete, I get it! I shouldn’t care what other people think of me. You’ve never played with them, but they still like you a lot because you’re the best.”

Pete nodded. “Yeah.”

The two boys then walked out of the classroom.

The video ended there.

Joel looked at Amos and Heather. “Life isn’t always a bed of roses. Sometimes a few small bumps can boost a child’s courage to overcome them. Besides, since Tanya’s return, Mia is clearly more confident than before. Therefore, she doesn’t need your so-called care at all.”

With that, his eyes turned cold as he said, “I still have something to ask you both. Only the children’s guardians can see the footage from the surveillance cameras in the garden. How did you know that Mia was being harassed? Did you have someone steal the footage and now you’re even trying to use it to trick us?”

Joel’s questions were getting sharper and sharper. By the end, his voice was already icy.

Of course, Joel knew that Mia was not doing well in the garden.
