On the Smiths.
Seeing Joel run off as if there was some kind of problem, Nora narrowed her eyes. She thought it might have something to do with herself.
She turned and headed for the car, intending to go to the company to take a look around.
Unexpectedly, before she could get into the car, Cherry and Pete pounced on her and grabbed hold of one of her legs each.
Cherry lifted her head. âMom, where have you been all day, why havenât I seen you? I miss you so much.â
Pete said nothing, but his eyes, as he looked at Nora, were full of attachment.
Nora: ââ¦â
To be honest, she had never neglected Cherry just because she was busy with work. At most, she didnât spend time with her to make up for her sleeping hours.
However, Cherry was by her side even when she slept. So it was true that the two children rarely saw Nora so busy that she didnât even come home.
Nora ruffled Cherryâs hair. âMommy has something important to do. Let Mommy go first, okay?â
Cherry bit her lip. âBut I miss Mom!â
Nora looked at Justin helplessly.
The man sighed, and a hint of a loving look appeared on his handsome face. He thought for a moment and then said, âOkay, let Mom go to work. Dad will walk them to bed tonight, OK?â.
Cherry and Pete could only nod.
Nora finally got into the car and went after Joel. However, her car was already out of sight. After a momentâs thought, she turned around and finally headed towards the Smith Corporation.

After putting the two kids to bed, Justin went outside.
As soon as he left, he picked up the phone and called Brenda. She quickly answered. âWhat now, Justin?â
There was a very cold look in Justinâs eyes. âHas Nora run into any problems?â
Otherwise, given how much she loved to sleep, sheâd be sleeping with her kids at home at this hour!
Brenda replied, âNo, weâre just trying to solve a case.â
Justin subconsciously asked, âWould you still be out this late if all youâre doing is trying to solve a case?â
However, Brenda burst out laughing when she heard what he said. âGee, Justin, do you know what you sound like? You sound like a housewife who waited at home all day, but in the end her husband didnât come home! Hahahaha! Are you lonely?â
Justin: ââ¦â
If it had been any other time, I would have hung up on him a long time ago. But thinking of Nora, he said to her nonetheless, âTell me what itâs about.â
Brenda replied, ââ¦. I canât tell you. Itâs confidential.â
Hearing the word âconfidentialâ, Justin immediately realized the importance of the matter.
He didnât say anything else, let alone force Brenda to make a mistake at work. Instead, he disconnected the call and prepared to log into his system with his phone to take a look.
But before she could, her phone rang. It was Lawrence.
When he answered, Lawrence said, âMr. Hunt, something has happened to the Smiths.â
Justin narrowed his eyes. âWhatâs wrong?â
Lawrence replied, âMiss Smith supposedly offended Q, so Q has approached the Smith Corporation, hacked into their entire network and is giving them a lot of trouble. He wants Miss Smith to bow down and apologize.â
Many people in the IT department had seen the contents of Joelâs talk with the other party that time.
Although it was not broadcast to outsiders, it was nonetheless easy for people in the industry to find out if they wanted to.
Lawrence himself was a source of gossip, so he knew all the news about everyone.
Justin, however, frowned and said, âHeâs not Q.â

At the same time, Nora, who had just arrived in the lobby of the office building, also received a call from Joel. Hearing what Joel said, she immediately gave that answer calmly and coolly.
Joel was not surprised. âThen who is it?â
â⦠A psychopath.â
â⦠Well, if itâs not Q, then Iâll keep looking for other people to help me.â
After confirming that the other party was not Q, the rest of the hackers would dare to help now.
Joel completely believed what he said. He immediately started to organize an assistant to spread the news that the hacker was not Q.
Samuel was furious as he listened on the sidelines. âJoel! Isnât Q just because she says he isnât? Who else can beat Speedy so quickly besides Q and Y! No one else in the world is that good at hacking!â
Joel looked at him. âUncle Grandpa Samuel, I have things to attend to here. If thereâs nothing else you want, you can go now!â
Samuel became even more furious. âJoel, Iâm saying this for the good of the company! Itâs not worth risking the Smiths for the sake of a girl who wasnât even raised by the Smiths!â
Joel looked at him and suddenly smiled, âI think itâs worth doing.â
Samuel wanted to say more, but Joel was already looking toward the door aggressively. He ordered, âTake him outside!â.
âYes, sir!â
His executive assistant rushed into the office with bodyguards and surrounded Samuel.
Samuel shouted angrily at him, âJoel, you are even more overbearing than Ian! This is too much! Too much!!!!! With a CEO like you, the Smiths will end up in ruin sooner or later.â
He was dragged out of Joelâs office.
Outside the door of the CEOâs office on the top floor were several managers waiting to report urgent work-related news. When Samuel saw them, he immediately shouted, âDid you all see that? Heâs an asshole!
âThe person Nora offended isnât Q? Hah, he must really be blind! Heâs going to take on an international hacker just to vent his anger! He must be out of his mind.â
Managers were also stunned when they learned that the hacker was not Q.
Someone asked, âWho could it be, if not Q?â.
And it was the outside help that Hunt Corporation had hired, so it was impossible for him to attack them. Therefore, it certainly had to be Q!
It was impossible that there was a third hacker in the world who could match Q and Y!
Someone whispered, âMr. Smith must have turned into a knucklehead, right?â
âYes, I think so tooâ¦â
When Samuel heard their questions, his voice immediately became louder. âHeâs already proven heâs Q with his hacking prowess! But what about you?â
He shouted at the office door, âSmith Corporation is not afraid of a hacker, but to vent his anger against the hacker, he has made the company suffer a lot of losses. Who is going to bear the responsibility for all those things on the Internet and the damage to our reputation? Also, isnât Q just because you say so, do you have any proof? All you do is babble nonsense, do you think Q will help us just because you say that?â
As she climbed the stairs, Nora had already heard about what happened through the Internet.
When she finally reached the top, she immediately heard Samuelâs derisive shouts directed at the CEOâs office.
She smiled sarcastically, lowered her voice and said slowly, âIndeed itâs not Q.â
Samuel suddenly looked at her and said, âItâs not Q just because you say so? You say it as if you know where Q is.â
Noraâs lips curved into a smile and she let out a low laugh. âOf course I do.â
