Brenda immediately raised her head and looked curiously down the hallway.
Since Nora was so beautiful that she couldnât make him dislike her, she should at least dislike that little extra baggage she had, right? Otherwise, Justin would be at too much of a disadvantage.
After all, Pete was so cute and quirky!
Unless the girl was even more beautiful than Pete, why should Justin have to take on an extra daughter for no reason? As Brenda was feeling indignant about Justin, she spotted a tiny figure approaching from the spiral staircase. She was wearing a beautiful princess dress with a fluffy skirt, as well as a tiara with a bow on her head. The little girl looked terribly adorable.
Brenda noticed her clothes first. Then her gaze shifted to the girlâs small face, and instantly a familiar face appeared to her!
Brenda was stunned.
She⦠Sheâ¦
Wasnât that fucking Pete?
Stunned, she looked at Nora in disbelief.
Nora pointed to her and said to Cherry, âItâs this big sister here. Thatâs Momâs⦠momâs colleague.â
She finally came up with the term after thinking for a long while.
However, after she spoke, she realized that Cherry had not greeted Brenda. When she turned and looked at Cherry in bewilderment, she instead saw Cherry exclaim, âAunt Brenda?â
She had seen Brenda downstairs in the morning, but when Brenda looked up, Pete had already rushed over to stop her.
Thatâs how she knew Brenda was her aunt!
âAunt Brenda?â
Nora, who was a bit puzzled, looked at Brenda. A moment later, Lucy, the housekeeper, also came over and said in surprise, âMiss Hunt, have you come again for Mr. Hunt? He had something to do at the office in the afternoon, so heâs not here now.â
Nora understood now. It was no wonder Brendaâs eyes looked a little familiar. It turned out it was because they resembled Justinâs.
Besides, her last name was Huntâ¦. She must have been the cousin Justin got along relatively well with, right?
As she thought about it, Brendaâs eyebrows drew together. She pointed at Cherry and said to Nora, âDonât move!â
She pulled out her phone and took a picture of Cherry. As she took the picture, she even activated the cameraâs beauty mode and said to Cherry, âSay chesse.â Cherry smiled and even gave a victory sign.
After Brenda looked for a good angle and took a beautiful photo, she finally stood up and asked Nora, âDoes Justin know you are dressing the boy like this?â
Nora: â?â
She blinked. âProbably?â
Probably?
Brenda pretended to be angry. âAre you really making the kid wear a dress while Justin is out? Youâre too abusive! Iâm going to send the picture to Justin.â
She opened Messenger and sent the photo to Justin with the message, âJustin, look at your son! Itâs your little girlfriendâs handiwork.â
Nora said, â⦠He knows.â
He was the one who had bought all the dresses.
Brenda, however, looked at the photo with joy. At the same time, she was also secretly grumbling to herself, âTsk, Peteâs a beauty like no other. Why does he have to be a boy? Iâve always wanted to dress him up as a girl and take pictures of him, but Justin never agreed? Look how good Pete looks in a dress!â.
However, she didnât expect Nora to succeed where she had failed.
But despite her thoughts, she adopted a dismissive attitude on the surface. She said to Cherry, âYouâve stooped pretty low, kid! Justin, that guy, definitely wonât be able to take this.â
She happily waited for Justin to get angry.
However, perhaps because Justin was busy, he didnât respond immediately. Of course, even when he wasnât busy, he didnât bother to respond to her messages either, ahem.
Brenda looked at Nora after sending the message.
The woman was certainly pretty, but her behavior was too ridiculous.
To think that Nora had accomplished what Brenda had always wanted to do but hadnât been able to.
This alone already made Brenda a little fond of Nora.
No, waitâ¦
This was a critical moment! She was not to let her love of beauty cloud her senses.
With that in mind, Brenda sat down on the couch coolly and said, âCome to Aunt Brenda!â
Cherry looked at Nora. Nora, however, merely raised her eyebrows. She paid no attention to her and instead climbed the stairs. Just like that, she hopped up and sat down next to her miraculous aunt.
Beep.
A text message had arrived.
Brenda pulled out her phone. However, it wasnât a reply from Justin, but a message from a cute guy she had just met. He texted, âDinner tonight?â
Brenda replied, âSure.â
She had just replied when another cute guy texted, âDinner tonight.â
Brenda: â?â
She looked at the first guy and then at the second. She was a little hesitant. With her chin resting on her palm, she asked Cherry, âWhich one is cuter?â
However, she paused for a moment after asking the question, finding herself simply ridiculous. Why would she ask such a thing of a child?
No sooner had the thought formed than an adorable voice sounded next to her ear. âI think this boy is cuter, Aunt Brenda! Although I like the other one too, his nose isnât good enough!â
Brenda nodded unconsciously. âYou think so too, I thought so a long time ago! But the other one isnât the most handsome either. Iâve found quite a few good-looking young guys lately. Come on, Iâll show you oneâ¦â
Cherry nodded and leaned toward her. Soon after, a strange conversation broke out in the living room:
âAunt Brenda, this boy is handsome! I would rank him number one.â
âWhat part of him is handsome? I think heâs too young and not masculine enough. I like this one. Heâs got muscles.â
âMuscles donât look good! I prefer guys with exquisite looks.â
â⦠Good grief, do you really know what exquisite means? How about this, Aunt Brenda will round up all the cute boys and let you pick one next time!â
But as soon as she said that, she suddenly realized something. She turned to Cherry sharply to see the girl staring at her phone with bright, shining eyes.
Brenda: â?????â
Surely⦠right?
Nora had not only dressed Pete as a girl, but had also changed his sexual orientation?
Was she doing this so that he couldnât have a son in the future, thus preventing him from inheriting the familyâs assets? This was unacceptable!
However, there was no way Cherry could know what he was thinking. She said excitedly, âWhen are you going to bring them, Aunt Brenda?â.
Brendaâs expression turned cold. âI canât show you the cute boys anymore. Pete, you shouldnât like pretty boys, you should like beautiful women. Beautiful women like Aunt Brenda.â
Cherry gasped, was he forbidding her to look at pretty boys?
No, she couldnât allow it!
So she put her arms around Brenda and said very tenderly, âAunt Brenda, Iâm not Pete! Iâm Cherry, yes!â
Brenda: â?â
She quietly placed her palm on Cherryâs forehead. âItâs not like you have a fever, what nonsense are you talking about?â. Just then, Pete returned from the garden with a backpack on his back. He took Mia by the hand and walked into the living room. Brenda gasped when she saw him. Then, she looked back at Cherry!!!!!
