When Karl Moore was checking Tanyaâs DNA, he had gotten someone to get Hillaryâs DNA from the prison as well.
Hillary was not his daughter.
That much was certain.
However, there was something wrong with Tanyaâs and Hillaryâs birth dates. One of the two had to be from someone else. Otherwise, this didnât make sense!
After all, it was impossible for Jill to have Tanya while pregnant with Hillary!
However, when Karl Moore said this, everyone shook their heads. âThatâs impossible.â
Jill was treating Hillary so well and Tanya so badly. As soon as this thought crossed her mind, Nora suddenly looked at Karl Moore. âAre you sure that the one who gave birth to your daughter back then was Jill?â.
Karl Moore was speechless.
He was stunned and kept scratching his head. âThatâs her. Even though itâs been over twenty years since weâve seen each other, itâs impossible for me to mistake her for anyone else! Her looks are the same. And her name is the same too. I canât sleep with someone and not know who she is! Besides, we were dating seriously then.â
âThatâs weird.â Nora lifted her almond eyes and looked at Karl Moore with a faint smile.
Karl Moore frowned. âSpeaking of whichâ¦this isnât the strangest thing, did you know that? After telling me Hillary was my daughter, she even gave me an exact birth date. I got someone to look into it and saw the birth records at the clinic. However, that child was not Tanya. It was indeed Hillary because the child had a mole on her ear. In addition, I later checked Hillaryâs ID card data and realized that the date of birth was actually false. In other words, Hillaryâs ID is eight months younger!â
Everyone was stunned. âApril 25?â
âYes, thatâs right.â
Karl Moore frowned. âTanya is my daughter. She can only be born in April or May. Hillary was also born in April of that year. It canât be that Jill gave birth to twins where one is mine and one isnât, can it? Is that possible?â
Nora looked at him speechlessly. âLogically, there is a possibility. It just happens to be a very rare occurrence. For example, if you had two eggs that month and you slept withâ¦â
He didnât finish the sentence.
Karl Moore understood and instantly reddened with anger. âIn other words, even if I hadnât left then, she would have betrayed me?â Two daughters born at the same time could only mean that she had gotten pregnant at the same time!
Jill had slept with him for less than two days, and she was already with this Jones guy?
This was just plain humiliating!
The others around her were speechless.
Nora suddenly felt sorry for this person who had been deceived.
However⦠the probability of getting pregnant by two men at the same time was very low. Would it really happen to Jill?

The Joneses.
Jill came home in low spirits.
Mr. Jones was sitting on the couch watching TV. Seeing her appearance, he sneered. âYou got snubbed, didnât you? I told you not to goâ¦.. Karl Moore already knows the truth, why are you coming running?â
Jill glared at him. âWho asked you to be useless! You canât even save your own daughter! If it wasnât for our daughter, I wouldnât have lied to you.â
Mr. Jones scoffed. âItâs okay for you to lie, itâs just that Iâm afraid theyâll find out what happened then!â
As soon as he said this, Jillâs eyes flashed. She sat up with a start and swallowed spittle. âNo, no way?â
Mr. Jones said, âYou told the nursing home people. We didnât erase any records to convince you â they wonât suspect anything?â
Jill bit her lip hard. She was so sure of herself. âSo what if they suspect? Theyâll never think of the truth.â
Hearing this, Mr. Jones did not contradict her. However, he still looked deeply at her and sneered before getting up and walking into the bedroom.
Jill followed him. âIf Tanya wonât help me save my daughter. Iâm not going to let this go!â¦Why are you so useless? If I were you, I would have saved my daughter even if I had to give up all my assets!â
Thud!
Mr. Jones slammed his fist against the wall and looked at Jill. âThatâs enough! Hillary isnât the only one in the family! The rest of us still have to live! I think Hillary has been spoiled by you since she got to where she is today! Sheâs always been above Tanya in everything since she was young, how could she not be arrogant? Even now, she still doesnât reflect on herselfâ¦â
He glared at Jill. âI beg you. stop! I still want to live quietly in old age!â With that, he turned and walked away.
Jill stared at him and clenched her fists tightly.
If she wanted to live peacefully in her old age, couldnât she save her daughter?
Of course he couldnât.

At the Smiths.
After dinner, Karl Moore had no reason to stay this time. He could only leave reluctantly. Before he left, he said, âTanya, I can stillâ¦â
Tanya interrupted him, âI have to work tomorrow.â
ââ¦â Karl Moore took the hint. âOkay, I get it!â
When he left, Tanya let out a sigh of relief.
Nora looked at her, âIf someone treats you right, why are you unhappy?â
The corners of Tanyaâs mouth twitched. âIf Uncle Ian had been so enthusiastic about you, would you have been able to handle it?â.
Nora: ââ¦â
She couldnât help but shudder at the thought.
Fortunately, Ian was more reserved. Otherwise, heâd have a headache all the time.
The two of them carried the three children upstairs. Justin got up and was about to follow them when Joel suddenly said, âMr. Hunt, Noraâs awake. Shouldnât you be getting back?â
Justin said without blushing or skipping a beat, âWe still have to observe her for two days. Besides, Cherry and Pete arenât coming back with the Hunts, soâ¦.â
The corners of Joelâs lips tightened.
Just then, Justinâs phone suddenly rang. He answered it and heard a female voice on the other end. âSpeaking of which, Justin, my big brother, havenât you been home for a few days? Donât you know thereâs someone waiting for you at home?â
At the sound of this voice, Justinâs usually light and cool eyebrows furrowed as he quietly reprimanded, âSpeak up!â
âHuh?â The voice was lazy and charming, plus there was a hint of seduction in his words. She laughed softly and said, âI always talk like that, havenât you gotten used to it yet?â
Justin: ââ¦When did you come back?â
âWhen I missed you.â
His expression turned colder. âCall me when you learn to talk.â
He hung up.

At the Huntâs house.
Brenda Hunt stared at the phone and pursed her lips.
In front of her, Elderly Mrs. Hunt was moaning. â⦠Did you hear that? Heâs so mesmerized by that bitch. He stayed at the Smithâs with Pete and wonât go back, I hear heâs even babysitting that womanâs daughter! As Chief of the Hunts, not only does he want to marry a woman who has given birth to someone elseâs daughter, but heâs treating that womanâs daughter as his own. Is that right! Also Pete, I donât know what kind of drug that woman has given my Pete. He is so good to that womanâs daughter! Every day, he called her his sisterâ¦. Brenda, you have the best relationship with your brother. You have to help me convince him.â
Brenda fiddled with her fingernails. âTsk, theyâre just two girls, a big one and a little one. Do they want to take over my big brother and Pete? Iâll meet the little one first tomorrow.â
