Nora took out her toothbrush first. After putting on some toothpaste, she brushed her teeth with one hand and turned on her phone with the other. She noticed a few new emails in her inbox.

His attention focused first on the DNA report Lily had sent him. He paused.

He had slept almost three days this time, hadn’t he?

Tanya and Mia’s results were out. He hurried to open them and realized that it was what he had expected.

However, he quickly spotted the top news article. It was about the conflict between Tanya and Hillary. He instantly realized that Tanya and Joel already knew the truth. Yes, it looked like he had taken the email seriously.

As he thought about this, he casually browsed through the inbox. When she didn’t see any urgent messages, she put the phone down and concentrated on brushing her teeth.

As she brushed her teeth, her eyes slowly darkened.

Her cheerful mood after the teasing of the two children gradually became heavy.

Quentin was still in the hospital. Every bone in his body had been broken. She didn’t know if he still had any chance of getting up.

Thinking about this, Nora decided to spend some time in the future thinking of all sorts of ways to get him to get up.

Yes, according to modern medicine, there was nothing they could do.

So, she could only look at it from the alternative medicine point of view. He vaguely remembered that there was a saying about refining the bones in ancient traditional medicine.

However, that method had long since been lost. He did not know if he could still find the relevant information.

With this in mind, he began brushing his teeth faster and faster. After spitting out the water in her mouth, she showered and put on a black top and light jeans before heading out. Her long hair was half dry and waved behind her.

She walked down the stairs feeling refreshed when she heard Cherry yell, “Mommy’s out!”

Then, enthusiastic applause erupted downstairs.

Nora: “????”

She came downstairs with a head full of question marks. Then, she saw Ian, Joel, Tanya, Warren, Maureen, Louis, Brandon, Mia, Cherry, Pete and Justin sitting on the living room couch. The group of people raised their heads in unison and stared at her as if she was some sort of leader.

Nora: “…”

She twitched her lips and walked down the stairs. Faced with this situation, she had no intention of being coy. Instead, she looked at Ian first. “Why are you at home?”

Ian’s body was still quite weak. He needed all kinds of medical equipment at the hospital to help monitor his vital signs. It was dangerous for him to go home.

Ian let out a sigh of relief when he saw his daughter attend to him first.

Truth be told, although father and daughter had been reunited, their relationship was relatively distant.

Nora had been born with a cold personality, but Ian was a little embarrassed. After all, when they were reunited, he still wanted to die and not stay to accompany his daughter. Therefore, he was a little embarrassed.

However, his daughter didn’t seem to mind the past. He said, “I’m fine.”

Nora frowned and said slowly, “I’m going to eat. Then I’ll go to the hospital to see Quentin and take you too.”

It hadn’t been easy to save Quentin’s life. If he wasn’t careful and something happened to Ian, the gains wouldn’t make up for the losses.

When Joel heard this, he looked at Ian.

Over the past few days, he had tried to convince Uncle Ian to go to the hospital many times, but Uncle Ian was stubborn and refused to leave. Now that his younger sister had spoken….

As expected, even though Ian still didn’t want to go, he dutifully said, “Okay.”

Joel: “…”

So, even Uncle Ian was subdued by his younger sister!

The corners of his lips twitched. Then, the family followed Nora into the dining room.

The Smiths’ table was very long. There were ten chairs on each side.

Now, they were all seated at the dining room table obediently. There was nothing in front of them. They all turned their heads to look at the one person who was sitting eating.

Nora: “…”

Suddenly, she felt that the porridge in front of her was a little warm.

It was strange that she couldn’t drink a bowl of porridge in a couple of gulps like she usually did. Under the gaze of more than ten pairs of nannies’ eyes, she took a spoon and drank it in one mouthful.

The small bowl of porridge took half an hour to finish.

After finishing, she looked at the group of people and suddenly asked, “Aren’t they busy?”.

Tanya answered for the children and herself, “It’s the weekend.”

Joel: “Yeah, the rest of us aren’t working either.”

Nora: “…”

She took a tissue and elegantly wiped the corners of her mouth. Then, she coughed and looked at Justin.

Justin chuckled softly and stood up to say, “All right, everyone, spread out! Nora is uncomfortable that you’re all gathered here.”

Nora: “?”

Who was uncomfortable?

They stood up quickly. Warren and Maureen said, “Well, sis, if there’s anything you need, tell us!”.

Joel and Tanya looked at each other and calmly said, “I’ll take Uncle Ian back to the hospital with you!”

Ian: “…”

Seeing that everyone had spoken, Louis thought for quite a while before finally saying, “Sis, if there’s anything you can’t get through, don’t hesitate to ask me for help-”

The family finally dispersed. Nora let out a sigh of relief.

She stood up. “Let’s go to the hospital.”

The group followed her majestically and drove to the hospital in two separate cars. Nora took Ian to the VIP room first. After confirming that all his organs were fine, she headed for Quentin’s room.

On the way, Joel and Justin sensed her silence.

Joel said, “Quentin hasn’t complained of being discouraged or cried for the past two days. Don’t worry.”

Nora nodded.

However, just because Quentin didn’t cry or complain didn’t mean he didn’t hurt. That young man loved being the center of attention.

Now he was alone in the hospital bed and couldn’t even move his neck.

With this thought in mind, he made his way to Quentin’s ICU room.

To be precise, Quentin was still not out of danger, so he was still in ICU.

At that moment, just as they were approaching, they heard Quentin’s pained voice. “God, let me die!”

People outside: “?”.

Joel: “?”.

They were just saying that Quentin wasn’t complaining about life – why was he suddenly looking to die!!!!

He was about to explain when he heard Lily’s hurt voice. “Don’t be like that, wouldn’t it be a shame for someone as handsome as you to die? Stay, don’t move. I’ll wipe your face-”

Quentin: “…Ahhh, you fucking pervert, get lost! You’re bullying me because I can’t move! Jesus, I’m going to die!”

The corners of Joel’s lips spasmed.

Tanya couldn’t help but ask, “Should we…maybe…not go in now? Would we disturb them?”

Her words caused the four of them to stand outside in a pause.

Nora pulled out her phone and opened her email inbox with boredom. She also opened Black Cat’s exclusive Internet chats.

These were all her habits.

After a long break, she would log on to various platforms to see if anyone was messaging her.

On the chat interface of the Black Cat exclusive website, there were many messages. He first opened Karl Moore’s chat window and saw his message. “Black Cat, please do me a favor, can you help me take a person’s DNA sample?”
