Brandon had always been all muscle and no brains. Ever since heâd been convinced that Cherry could transform from boy to girl, heâd admired her greatly.
Plus, Justin coming forward and backing her up after she said she was Justinâs daughter the other time, he hadnât doubted anything Cherry said again.
So, she nodded and said, âYes, they are very close! She can get Mr. Quinn to teach us martial arts!â
He made a few fighting gestures and even let out a few heyâs and haâs as he did so, making the little guy look exceptionally simple and innocent. He said, âIâm going to be a hero in the pugilism world in the future! Who knows, I might even master flying! And become invincible who can fly through the air and burrow through the ground! Right, Mia?â
Mia was very supportive. Her big, round eyes were very bright in her small, pointy face. She clapped her hands loudly and said, âYes!â
Brandon patted her little boob and said, âIâll take care of you in the future!â.

After the two left, Mrs. Hoffman came to watch him for the night.
Mrs. Hoffman evidently seemed quite agitated. Her emotions were very unstable, and she looked very haggard.
There was nothing they could do.
The Hoffmans had already mobilized all their resources to search for Big Sister, but they could find no clue about her!
This was simply too strange. After all, among New Yorkâs clandestine forces, the Hoffmans had always been considered one of those who had done quite well for themselves. It was impossible for a clan to keep such secure information hidden on their own.
After all, some of their men were also part of the Quinn School of Martial Arts. Among the wealthy families, for example, the Smiths, they basically had no secrets. Even for a family as large and successful as the Hunts, there was no information that could be kept so secret that no one could find out anything about it; unless they did as Mr. Hunt protected his son and kept information about him secret to the point of not allowing anyone to visit him.
However, it was as if Big Sister was no different from the air itself.
This was totally impossible!
It was only possible if all the families had united to protect her!
Little Jimmyâs voice brought his mother, whose imagination was running wild, back to reality. He said, âMommy, are you trying to get in touch with the Quinn School of Martial Arts? Cherry knows Mr. Quinn. You can ask him if he can help.â
Mrs. Hoffman, â?â
She felt like she was hearing things. âWhat?â
Jimmy said, âItâs true. Brandon said. Cherry can help them get into the Quinn School of Martial Arts, and she gets along great with Mr. Quinn. She calls him Grandpa Quinn.â
Mrs. Hoffman, â!â
She asked unconsciously, âWhere did you hear that nonsense from? Youâ¦â
However, it suddenly occurred to her that it was precisely because she hadnât trusted Noraâs assessment the other time that she had ended up causing a delay in the treatment of Jimmyâs illness, which had almost resulted in her sonâs death.
He took back what he was going to say and frowned. She patted Jimmyâs hand and said, âOkay, Iâll ask them about it later.â
Seeing that she was finally listening to what he was trying to tell her, Jimmy nodded. âOkay.â
Jimmy had already recovered considerably and would be discharged in another two days. He was still talking about it before he fell asleep. âCherry is taking Brandon and the others to Quinn Martial Arts School for the weekend. Mommy, I want to go too, can I?â
âYou can do whatever you want as long as you recover. Now go to sleep.â
âOkay.â
Mrs. Hoffman waited for Jimmy to fall asleep before getting up. After thinking about it, she decided to call Jordan. She told him, âI believe Miss Smith may be known at the Quinn School of Martial Arts.â
Jordan was surprised. âWhy would you say that?â
Mrs. Hoffman relayed Jimmyâs words to him. Then she said, âI donât know if Cherry is bragging or if what sheâs saying is trueâ¦.. Gee, why is it so hard to deal with kids these days? Itâs so hard to know what theyâre thinking.â
Jordan burst out laughing. âDo you really believe what a five year old says? Hahaha! Have you forgotten how Jimmy came home after school one day and said there was a big tiger in the yard and he was afraid it was going to get eaten, just to avoid going to class when he first went to the yard?â
Mrs. Hoffman, ââ¦â
Jordan continued and said, âThere was even a child who said he knew the leaders of the country, but in the end, after asking his parents about it, it turned out that he knew them through television.â
Mrs. Hoffman, ââ¦â
âYou shouldnât believe everything a child says. If Miss Smith has a close relationship with the Quinn School of Martial Arts, would Paul have dared to bully her?â
Mrs. Hoffman gasped. âAre they bullying her again, have they helped her? Miss Smith is Jimmyâs savior, remember?â
Jordan laughed and replied, âDo you even need to ask? That Winston guy kidnapped Miss Smithâs fiancé to threaten her into signing a racing deal for his club, but he ended up getting beaten up by Miss Smith and Mr. Hunt. Then there was an explosion and he died. Paul went on to go to Quinn School of Martial Arts because of this.â
An anxious Mrs. Hoffman asked, âWhat happened next?â
âWell, it just so happened that Mr. Hunt was at Quinn Martial Arts School at the time. It is likely that Mr. Quinn showed Mr. Hunt some courtesy. After all, Paul was the culprit in the first place. Our men discovered that Paul left the cult with bruises on his face, so he was probably beaten up.â
Mrs. Hoffman was immediately excited. âWhat cathartic news! If you look at it that way, Mr. Quinn isnât an unreasonable person either!â
âYes, the whole pugilistic world sings Mr. Quinnâs praises. I donât think heâs aware of whatâs going on among the people in the lower echelons. The problem now, however, is that he stopped taking care of things many years ago, so itâs a mammoth task for us to even talk to him. Regardless, we have to look for Big Sister.â
Mrs. Hoffman frowned. âHow about I ask Miss Smith about it? Anyway, it doesnât hurt to ask.â
Jordan was silent for a moment before saying, âLetâs wait a little longer. Didnât Jimmy say he was going to the Quinn School of Martial Arts this weekend? Itâs not too late to ask after we confirm that Cherry can really take kids to the cult to learn martial arts. If we ask Miss Smith now, wonât we put her on the spot if she is not really known to Quinn Martial Arts School?â
â⦠Okay.â

Soon the weekend arrived.
Since Cherry had made a promise to the kids, Pete had no choice but to bite the bullet and take the kids to Quinn Martial Arts School.
They first gathered at the entrance to the kindergarten. However, only four people showed up at the meeting time: Brandon, Mia, Seth and little Jimmy, who had just recovered from a serious illness.
Brandon called a classmate who had promised to come. âWhy arenât you here yet? Weâre waiting for you.â
The classmate replied, ââ¦. My mother said Cherry is lying. Quinn Martial Arts School isnât that accessible, AND theyâve never done any recruiting for training classes! Iâm not going there just to be left out.â
Brandon didnât insist. He said, âYou might as well not go then. That way there will be one less person for Mr. Quinn to have to teach, AND he can give me better guidance!â.
He called another boy after hanging up. The boy gave him the same answer, âMy dad says Cherry is faking it. Thereâs no way Iâm getting into Quinn School of Martial Arts. Iâm not going anymore.â
