When they arrived, it was just in time for a group of people to wake up from their morning nap and get ready to go to breakfast.
They were stopped at the door, âNot everyone can come into our company, who are you?â.
Mia replied, âWe are here to find my brother, my brother is inside, this is my father and mother, we are here to give a tourâ¦â¦â
The person looked at Nora and Justin, then scoffed, âAre you kidding me?â
Mia: â?â
Doorman: âThese two people look young, at most they are your siblings, arenât they, how can they be your father and mother?â
â¥âáµ£â ᵤâdââââ áµ¢â gââââáµ¥âââ.ð¸ââ Mia: â?????â
Actually, he was trying to save himself the trouble by impersonating Cherry herself directly.
Thatâs why she said Nora and Justin Hunt were her parents.
But didnât he believe her?
The person pointed at Nora again and opened her mouth, âHe is at most twenty years old, how can he have a daughter as old as you? And he â¦â¦â
He pointed at Justin again, âThis one is only in his thirties, right?â.
Justin Hunt was wearing a suit and had a stern expression, although his face looked young, he didnât look like a snotty twenty-something just starting out in life.
So the man could believe that Justin Hunt was Miaâs father, but he couldnât believe that Nora was her mother.
ââ¦â¦â
Justin Huntâs face darkened.
The moment this janitor opened his mouth, he gave himself and Nora a generation gap, they were close in age, OK?
Mia: âThatâs right â¦â¦ we all look young.â
After saying this, he took out several documents and showed them to the doorman, âMy mother is already 34 years old and she gave birth to us at nineteen â¦â¦â
The janitor stared at the document and turned it over, looked at it again and again, finally believed it, he opened his mouth, âAlright, by lab rules, outsiders are not allowed in, Iâll help you call Peter Hunt.â
Call himâ¦â¦
At least Pete was free.
Mia breathed a sigh of relief.
The doorman entered the communications room and, after calling someone, after about five minutes, Peter Hunt came to the door at a trot.
A fifteen-year-old boy with a tall frame.
As he was growing in height, he was very thin and appeared to have little strength.
He wore a baggy T-shirt and even the bones protruding from his back could be faintly seen.
Seeing the smile on his delicate face, Nora was relieved and felt that the effort of the night had been worth it.
âDaddyâ¦
Dad, Mom, Mia, youâre here!â
Pete gasped after getting to his feet, then regained his former composure and greeted the three of them one by one.
He then looked at the doorman, âItâs my parents and sister, theyâve long since said theyâre here on a trip, is it okay if I join them for breakfast?â
The doorman glared at Pete, âWell, go ahead, itâs been a long time since youâve seen each other, I think youâve missed your family too, have a good talk with them.â
The doorman raised the pitch of his voice at the word âchatâ.
Pete, however, seemed to understand something as he nodded, âNo problem.â
He then followed Nora and pointed to the coffee shop across the street, âLetâs go have breakfast there!â.
The group arrived back at the cafeteria.
After ordering their normal food, they found a seat and Justin opened his mouth coolly, âWhat the hell are you up to?â.
He could go out for breakfast, and looking at Pete, it was obvious that there was nothing wrong with him, so he better be able to come up with a reasonable explanation for sending a message to Mia in the evening, otherwise, if he delayed Noraâs sleep, Justin wouldnât forgive him.
Pete is still afraid to face his father.
After all, â¦â¦ currently still couldnât beat his father, he was still too young!
He hoped he could fight him in a few yearsâ¦â¦ ahem.
Pete retracted his thoughts and looked at them, âIâm really in trouble!â
âIf youâre in trouble, wouldnât you come to us directly? What message did you send to Mia in the middle of the night to scare her?â
Nora frowned, dissatisfied.
On this trip, Mia was pale, looking terrified.
Pete coughed and looked apologetically at Mia, then couldnât help but sigh quietly and grumble, âIf I had sent them a message, would they come? Mia is the only one in the whole family who is most concerned about my well-being, so if I contact Mia, they would surely come.â
Hearing his words, Miaâs cheeks flushed.
She unconsciously glanced at Nora and Justin, seeing that the two did not detect the implication of these words, she was silently relieved, and at the same time looked at Pete with fascination.
While Nora and Justin Hunt were a bit speechless, ââ¦â¦â
If you think about it, if Pete contacted them directly and knew about this situation, he really wouldnât come!
Noraâs heart felt vaguely guilty.
Justin, on the other hand, was cheeky and still had a stern expression, âAlright, letâs get on with it.â
