Sereia's POV

He continued to give me soft kisses on my shoulder as I smiled.

"Stop," I laughed as I tried to concentrate on finishing the financial report. "My boss is going to kill me if I don't finish this by tomorrow."

"No, he won't," he said as he pulled me down on the bed with him.

It had been a long day at work, but we were back in my bedroom.

He came back.

"Elliot," I whined as I tried to stretch for my laptop.

He hovered over me and began to kiss me.

"Please me-" he continued to kiss me. "Finish the-"

I eventually gave in to his tempting kisses.

"I can't get enough of you," he said. "You're addicting."

I continued to kiss him to refrain from telling him that he was the best thing that ever happened to me in the last six years.

I'll scare him off.

After a few more minutes of nonstop kissing, he pulled away and settled in between my thoughts.

His head rested on my stomach and my hands combed through his hair.

"What did you want to tell me this morning?" he asked and I felt a pulse in my stomach.

This is not a good time to tell him.

I should wait a little longer.

Am I selfish for wanting him a little longer?

I've gone 24 years of my life without having a real romantic connection with a man.

I had sex once when I turned 21 with a guy who was in my class, Jeff his name was.

I wanted to know what it felt like and he seemed like he knew it all.

I was such an inexperienced mess back then, and I still am.

No one tried to talk to me and even if they did, I wouldn't have let them.

It honestly wasn't that good and I never talked to him again.

"Oh, it was nothing," I lied. "I already forgot."

"Okay," he replied as he took my hand and held it.

"Have you ever had sex before?"

The dumb words just flew out of my mouth.

Of course, he did. He's married.

I looked down to see him struggling to hold in his laugh. "Where is this coming from, Sereia?"

"I don't know," I frowned. "Well, have you?"

"Yes," he answered.

"With women other than Olivia?" I asked and he hesitated to answer.

"While I was married?" he asked. "Of course not."

"And before that?"

He nodded. "They were just some meaningless hookups. I didn't feel a thing for them."

"Well, do you feel a thing for me?" I asked and he looked up at me.

"Sereia-"

"Answer me," I told him. "Will I just be another meaningless hookup for you?"

He shook his head. "No, you won't. That's why I won't rush things with you."

I nodded my head when I felt satisfied with his answer.

He pulled my laptop to us. "So your boss is really that bad, huh? Making you do work outside of working hours?"

"He's the worst," I smiled when he began proofreading my report.

"Maybe he has a thing for you."

"I don't know," I said. "I don't see it."

He shot a glare at me and I laughed.

I suddenly became serious. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because I want to help you finish this before you give it to your boss tomorrow," he said as he typed.

"No," I shook my head. "Why are you here with me and not her?"

He sighed. "Because I'll go insane."

"Why?"

He sighed. "Let's just say she and her parents can get a bit overwhelming."

"With?"

He stopped typing and looked at me. "They want an heir."

I tried to hide the look of hurt that overpowered my body with a contained look.

"Oh," I weakly smiled. "That's nice."

He kept quiet as he returned his attention to my laptop.

I shouldn't be feeling hurt.

It's his wife and he's the CEO of one of the largest finance companies in America. Of course, he needed to have somebody to give it all to.

I'm not a part of the plan and I will never be.

"Well, good luck," I said and instantly regretted it.

Why would I say that?

He held in his smile and tried to ignore my unnecessary comment.

I swallowed as I watched him help me with my report.

My heart was pounding on the walls of my chest.

I'm beginning to feel so attached to him and I shouldn't.

I need to differentiate my feelings from my pleasure.

All that there is between us is pleasure.

We are each other's fun escape.

It's light between us and we don't have to think.

Everything that happens with us behind closed doors, immediately vanishes when the doors open.

I am nothing but a silly affair from him and he is nothing but a distraction for me.

I haven't felt the need to get high for the week.

That's progress.

"When are you going to stop staring at me?" he asked as he turned his face to me.

"I wasn't-"

"Don't lie," he said. "I don't like liars."

I swallowed guiltily.

He turned around so that the back of his head was on my stomach and not his face.

"I'm finished," he said as he showed my the laptop which he placed on his chest.

He pointed to the screen. "Everything is good, but I just need to check over the balance sheets tomorrow."

"Okay," I answered while he closed my laptop. "Are you sleeping here tonight?"

He sat up and turned to me. "It depends on if you let me."

"It'll cost you."

I teased him as payback for the first time he told me that in his office.

"What's the payment?" he mocked my words.

I smiled as I thought about something that will annoy him. "Your shirt."

He chuckled. "My shirt?"

"Yes, I want your shirt to be mine."

"And what am I supposed to wear when I return home tomorrow morning if you take my shirt?" he asked, happy that I wanted something from him.

I shrugged. "I don't know, return shirtless."

"Are you trying to get me in trouble with my inlaws?"

I nodded. "The ball is in your court."

He eyed me before taking off his shirt. "Anything else?"

I looked down before looking back at his face. "I'll take the pants too."

"Oh, you're getting expensive."

I shrugged. "You have to pay a lot to sleep in this bed."

"Good thing I'm a billionaire," he said as he stood up and removed his pants. "Please, tell me that's all."

"There's one more thing," I smiled and he sighed.

I tapped my cheek.

He smiled before he leaned and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

When he stood up straight again, I kneeled on my bed in front of him.

I looked up at him and he was already looking down on me.

There was a moment of peace and silence between us before he quickly broke it.

He grabbed my ponytail before yanking my head back and crashing his lips onto mine.

I kissed him back passionately as he snaked his arms around my waist and lifted me up.

My legs automatically wrapped around his waist as he sat us down.

I pulled away to look at his eyes. I want to see his eyes.

They were warm and filled with a quiet intensity that seemed to speak directly to my heart.

My heart, my dumb heart, wanted those eyes all to itself.

My heart wants the one man it shouldn't.

I can't want him.

He's married to Olivia and she ruined Violet.

He's associate with the woman that made my sister hurt so bad that she committed suicide.

His gentle eyes softened even more as I glared at him. "Is everything okay?"

I hate him.

How can he be with a horrible person like her? That makes him just as bad as her.

I ignored his question as I smashed my lips on to kiss neck.

I kiss and sucked his skin hard, purposely leaving hickeys all over him.

I want her to see. I want her to know that he's just as bad as her.

"Sereia," he laughed as he forcefully pulled me away from his neck. "I think you've had enough."

No, I was just getting started.

I'll ruin them both.
