▫️Stella’s POV...

So here I was, sitting in my room, processing the fact that the hot-handsome sculptured mafia boss straight out of novels was now my boyfriend. For real. I can do anything with him whenever I want. That hits harder.

Now, the real question was—should I move back to his room? You know, mark my territory, claim his bed as mine. But then again… No. That would make me look desperate. Desperate for what? Sexxxuuuu. Something delulu. But no I have enough self control.

Before I could spiral any further, my phone pinged. It was from him.

Asshole: So, baby, what gift do you want on the first day of our relationship?

I stared at the screen for a second, then blushed. Awwww. This man, asking me what I want, such a cutie. I swear, I’m on cloud nine right now, and I’ll fuck anyone who tries to drag me down.

I typed back: " I’ll think and tell you."

Simple. Cool. No big deal.

Then I looked at his contact name. Asshole. Huh. Maybe I should change it. I mean, it does sound rude for my boyfriend. But what the hell do I call him? “Boyfriend”? Nah, too official. He’s already stolen all the nicknames in the universe with his “baby,” “sunshine,” “troublemaker,” and every other word under the sun.

Finally, inspiration struck. THE IDIOT I LOVE😘. Perfect.

With that settled, I started thinking about the gift. What do I want? I sat there like a philosopher, digging deep into my soul. Clothes? No. A trip? Meh. Jewelry? Nah.

Then it hit me. A pet! Yes! But which one?

Crocodile? Too aggressive.

Parrot? Too chatty.

Dog? Too much work.

Cat? Hmmm… maybe.

An orange cat. Oh my God, yes. A fluffy little orange fur ball. That’s it! That’s what I want.

Feeling proud of my decision, I had lunch, watched some random show, and chilled until evening.

When Chris finally came home, we had dinner together. Nick and Liam, being the party animals they are, had gone out again. So, it was just the two of us. Alone.

Not that it means anything. Nope. Nothing. I’m a saint, thank you very much.

After dinner, he leaned back in his chair and smirked at me. “So, you thought about your gift yet? Or should I just buy you everything?”

I rolled my eyes. “No need for the billionaire act. I’ve decided.”

“Oh?” he said, raising an eyebrow. “What is it?”

I grinned. “I want an orange cat.”

He blinked. “A what?”

“An orange cat,” I repeated, my grin growing wider.

“You’re serious?” he asked, leaning forward like I’d just told him I wanted a pet dinosaur.

“Yes. That’s what I want.”

He stared at me like I’d lost my mind. “Stella, you do realize those fur balls bite, scratch, and slap people for no reason, right?”

“So?” I said, shrugging. “I can handle it. I want one.”

Chris sighed, rubbing his temples like I was giving him a headache. “Fine. I’ll get you one. But if it attacks me, don’t blame me when I fight back.”

I rolled my eyes again. “You’re such a drama queen.”

“Yeah, yeah,” he muttered, standing up. “An orange cat it is.”

I couldn’t help but smile. Lovely asshole, indeed. Even if he’s my boyfriend, he’s still a certified asshole.

▫️Christian’s POV...

So, my little brat—I mean, my sunshine—decided she wanted a cat. Of all things. A dumb orange furball. She could have asked for a car, gun, designer bags or outfits but NO.

The cat which thinks she’s some sort of princess, but I guess I can’t say no to my princess. Not when she looks at me with those puppy eyes. Damn!

I called Titan. “Get me an orange cat. You know, the dumbest. And get her accessories—don’t forget the little house.”

Titan sounded confused, but he was used to my strange requests by now. “Got it, boss.”

I hung up and immediately started thinking...now the point is why is my girlfriend in another fucking room not in my king bed.

Should I go grab her and drag her back to my room? No. I mean, if I did, she might think I have some unholy thoughts—and I do. But that’s beside the point.

She’s my sunshine, and sometimes my thoughts go a little... dark.

I want her close to me and I'm selfish like that.

I marched towards her room and knocked. She opened the door, and I didn’t waste any time.

I picked her up and tossed her over my shoulder, “No arguments. You’re moving in with me. The cat’s gonna need its space, right? And honestly, I’m sick of you being so far away.”

“What the hell, Christian?! Put me down I'll walk.” she yelled, slapping my back.

“I’ll let you down in a second, but no excuses. You’re staying here, deal with it.”

I threw her onto my bed in my room and turned to her with a smug grin. “That’s it. You’re officially mine now. No backing out.”

She groaned, clearly realizing she had no choice. “Fine, whatever. You’re a pain in the ass.”

“Damn right, I am.”

She wrapped herself in the blankets, clearly trying to avoid me. But I wasn’t having it. I sat down next to her, giving her a side-eye. “What? No kisses? You’re just gonna ignore your boyfriend like that?”

Then I kissed her bcoz she will not. Emotionless.

She snorted. “NO. You’re a jerk. You know that.” then smiled.

I laughed. “I prefer ‘lover,’ but sure, whatever works for you.”

She huffed and then asked, “So, you wanna watch a movie or something?”

I shook my head. “Sorry, baby. Work calls.” I held up my laptop and gave her an exaggerated look of regret. “Mafia stuff. It never ends.”

She looked disappointed but nodded. “I guess I’ll just... watch my own show, then.”

“Sure but I promise my all quality time to you as soon as this mess ends.”

She rolled her eyes. “cover it soon."

Then I kissed my baby but her arrogant ass got shyed.

"You’re the king of all the assholes.”

I smirked. “I am your asshole, though. Big difference.”

She didn’t say anything else just kissed me....sparks in my heart.....and then settled in, watching her show, while I got to work. The information leak was a mess. Someone sold our intel, and I needed to find out who the hell it was. Titan’s been tracking this guy down for days, but it felt like we were chasing ghosts.

A couple of hours passed, and when I looked over at Stella, she was knocked out, phone still in her hand like she had passed out mid-scroll. Cute, but also... I wasn’t gonna let her sleep like that.

I turned off her phone gently, then shut down my laptop. As quietly as possible, I slid into bed beside her, pulling her into my arms. She mumbled something, but I didn’t catch it—probably just some weird  dream talk.

I leaned down and kissed her forehead. “Goodnight, baby.”

She made a soft sound and snuggled closer, wrapping her arms around me in her sleep.

I chuckled softly.

We both drifted off, tangled in each other’s arms, me knowing damn well that tomorrow would bring more chaos—both in work and in life with her. And honestly? I will go to any lengths for her. Because after a long time on this planet I found my better half.
