The night at the festival is bright with oil lamps and the sound of laughter, drums, and flutes filling the air. Vishnu and the Crown Prince stand among the crowd, greeting nobles and guests as they celebrate. Just as they turn to enjoy a moment, Ananta appears, his face flushed with the faintest hint of a secret.
"Ah! Anna Ereya you are here,I have searched for you!" Ananta said while prendenting to be relived. His whole mind was focused to hide his nerves.
"Vishnu found me near the temple grounds, But seems like I wasn't so lost after all. What about you, Ananta? You weren't lost too, were you?"Ereya said with a knowing look.
"Lost? Me? No, no, just...it took sometime time to find you.."Ananta smiled nervously.
"Or perhaps you've found yourself charmed by the festival? Anyway, glad you could rejoin us, Ananta."Vishnu said with a light smile.
"Indeed, we were beginning to wonder if you'd been swept off by some mysterious figure."Adithya chuckled lightly.
"Oh no only by the beauty of the festivities, of course."Ananta said smiling, masking his nerves with ease.
Just as Ananta settles beside them, a royal messenger steps forward, his voice carrying above the music and conversation.
"Hear ye, hear ye! The future bride of the Crown Prince Vijayshrii devi daughter of the Gange king Durvinitha is here, at the behest of the Our great Emperor Manglesha, to join the evening's festivities." Messenger announced loudly.
At the announcement, the crowd murmurs with excitement and anticipation as all eyes turn toward the temple's grand entrance.
The courtyard and streets leading to the temple are lined with nobles, soldiers, and eager onlookers. The air is filled with the rhythmic beat of drums, the melodic call of flutes, and the faint scent of flowers scattered in anticipation. The royal procession moves steadily forward, a dazzling display of wealth and power.
At the head of the parade, her father Ganga King Durvinitha, a proud and regal figure adorned in elaborate silk robes and golden armor, rides atop a majestic elephant. Draped in finery, the elephant's tusks are capped with gold, and it moves gracefully as if aware of the importance of this day.
Following closely is a golden palanquin, shimmering under the torchlights. As the palanquin draws closer, four attendants gently lower it to the ground.
The future bride steps out, her appearance stunning the crowd. She is dressed in layers of deep emerald and crimson silks embroidered with fine gold thread sari, which catches the light with every movement. Her dark, flowing hair is partially adorned with delicate jasmine flowers, and a faint veil frames her face without concealing her serene features.
The Emperor, seated on on a special throne with the royal family, gestures towards the Crown Prince, Ereya, urging him to join the ministers in welcoming their distinguished guests.
"Go, my son. It is only fitting that the future ruler should welcome our esteemed allies personally. The Kingdom of Ganga has long been our friend, and tonight, it joins us in family." Emperor Manglesha said with encouraging voice towards Ereya.
"As you wish, my lord"Ereya said with a respectful bow. As he moved forward Vishnu and Ananta followed him.
As Ereya and the ministers approach the courtyard gates, the golden palanquin of the Ganga princess has been lowered, and her father, the Ganga king Durvinitha, dismounts from his elephant with a dignified grace.
His attire is opulent, heavy with gold and gems, signaling his status as a powerful ruler. He strides forward with his daughter at his side, each step measured and stately as he approaches the Emperor Manglesha.
"Your Majesty, it is an honor for our house to join with yours in such a great event . May our kingdoms flourish side by side, bound by loyalty and friendship."King of Ganga said with deep bow his voice was warm.
"The honor is ours, old friend. With this union, may we bring prosperity and peace to our lands, as we strengthen the ties between our peoples." Emperor Manglesha said sitting from his seat and embracing the Ganga king.
Then Ganga king Durvinitha steps aside, presenting his daughter Vijayshrii Devi with a gentle, encouraging nod. The princess steps forward gracefully, her expression poised and respectful as she took blesses from emperor. The Emperor's warm gaze rests on her as he gestures for Ereya to come forward.
"The future Emperor Ereya, allow me to present your bride-to-be, a symbol of unity and strength for our realms. Let this be the beginning of a future that will lead our kingdoms to even greater glory." emperor adress Ereya with proud in his tone.
Ereya steps forward, his face a mask of respect and formality, though his eyes briefly study the princess with a thoughtful, neutral gaze. Her beauty is undeniable, she was calm and dignified, but he feels little beyond a quiet acknowledgment of the duty before him. He offers her a courteous nod, aware of the watchful eyes of the gathered nobles.
"It is a privilege to welcome you here, Devi. May this union bring strength and honor to our families and our kingdoms." Ereya said with respectful tone.
"Thank you sir. I am honored to be here and to play my part in this alliance. May our union serve the people as much as our families."She clearly tried to meet his graze but Ereya simply looked away.
A ripple of approval spreads through the crowd at the courteous exchange, as the Emperor, visibly seems to be pleased, raises his hand to signal the start of the festivities.
Musicians begin playing, and the celebratory atmosphere heightens as Ereya and his future bride join the Emperor and other nobles on divans.
Though Ereya's heart remains calm, he feels the weight of this moment, his eyes found his future bride was udoubltely a beauty . Her voice was like a heavenly nymp but his heart wasnt had a interest at all.
