The monster walked away and half a minute after that, I resumed my journey.
I am just a day away from my destination.
I could reach it there by night. If I really pushed, but I won't.

The tide had come.
Many people in my range had summoned their abodes and stepped inside, but many were still walking.
There are fewer tides during the day than the night.
A few minutes passed, and I felt the tides getting stronger. It seemed to be a slow tide.
Most of them get strong quickly and, just as fast, get weaker after reaching the peak, but slow tides move slowly. They get stronger slowly.
My heart began to beat wildly. Panic tried to fill me, but I controlled my emotions as well as my expressions.
I cannot let him know, I had sensed his true power, or it will be over for me before it even
begins.
Not all had ended for me. Especially if it behaves like people had said it to be. I have a chance to survive, a slight chance, but a chance, nonetheless.
Everything was going well.
The nectar was forming, and I was collecting resources while moving toward my destination.
He had thrown it all with his appearance.
Now, my every step would need to be perfect. If he realized I was the person, he was searching for; it would be over for me.
I shouldn't let that happen until I am ready.
Time passed, and he came into view.
He looked to be a man in his early thirties, with grey skin and red horns over his head. He is tall and quite handsome with cheekbones and blue eyes of the shade; I had never seen.
They seemed cerulean at a glance, but not cerulean.
If I survived him. I am going to use that shade for my eyes one day. I hope I do.
He moved closer and closer to me. Until he stopped a hundred meters away from me.
"You are quite powerful to be able to move in such a powerful suppression tide," he said. "So, do you," I replied with a light smile on my face.
To that, he grinned.
"I am and I am very much interested in seeing how powerful you are," he said, taking a step
closer, while I shook my head.
"I rather not fight," I replied.
"The tides are getting stronger and if we fight, we might be discovered by the monster, not to mention. This place has a king," I added.
The grin on his face didn't lessen. Instead, it had widened even more.
"You don't have to worry about that," he said and came at me before I could open my mouth
to reply.
