Chapter 4047: First Level Completion

I watched him leave and followed behind. I want to harvest the lilies, but this is more
important.
I followed him stealthily.
It's a good thing that my stealth method had enough data in path two days, that it could meld me against this environment better.
I, myself analyzed the data and made changes in the past two nights.
A few hours passed and when landed on the icy forest and began to move on his legs, I was already following him from the ground.
It's hard to chase the flying person from the ground without getting discovered, but I can move faster, and the stealth method is good.
I am following behind him. Always keeping a forty-five-minute distance.
Which now extended further since he had slowed down his speed while moving through the ground.
His sensory methods got stronger. He is using them to detect anything in his range, but I am far behind his range. So far, even my soul waves couldn't detect him.
He is moving into the colder part.
The mountain range had some freezing areas. Some were so cold that they would freeze a Sky Sovereign of any power to death.
Only the primes could bear them.
Hours passed, and soon it was evening, and the temperature began to fall fast, but despite that, he didn't stop.
It was at midnight; did he summon the abode and go inside?
The night passed quickly, and he came out of the abode. Like I did before, I waited before following him deeper and deeper into the mountain range.
'Just where he is going?' I thought, seeing him avoiding all the resource sites that came in the way.
I feel kind of regret that I couldn't go to those sites and harvest the resources. There are really good resources, like those silver frost apples.
I would love to make a pie out of the fresh silver frost apples.
It didn't take long before the runes climbed on my body and seeped inside me before, finally, the actual practice began.

Immediately, something different happened. It nearly made me scream.
The three parts, which take their turns in the course of the session, started appearing together.
The sensations, skin, and energies begin to change at the same time, and it is really painful. The thing is, I am not surprised at all.
This is according to the method. Not something happening because of the forbidden power.
This has been clearly explained in the method and other books I have read about the method. The only thing forbidden power is doing is the pace of changes. It's too fast, much faster than the method had said, it would happen.
Bodies couldn't bear it. If all three parts happened at the same time at such speed, but my body is not the common body.
Though, I am not proud of it right now.
It is so painful that I want it to stop. I do not care about the benefits or the method. I just want
to make this immense pain stop.
It is taking every fiber of my willpower to not scream.
If I scream, I will stop the method, and the changes will happen. The backlash would be massive. Even if it didn't kill me; it would make a cripple.
It's the only reason, I am bearing it.
I don't want to die. I have worked too hard to reach this far. I wouldn't give up so easily.
So, I bore the pain of the method, hoping to survive and pray that it ends quickly.
That prayer is not going to be heard when every second feels like an hour. It made the time
feel long.
I am already feeling like the days had passed when not even ten minutes had passed. With this pain, every second is a battle to not give up. That after some time, I felt like, death would be better than bearing such pain.
I crushed those thoughts as they came, but they came to mind over and over despite crushing them, and every time, their argument was more compelling than before.
