Once my client came, I got started on her nails. We caught up because she was a friend of mine but we didn't talk too much because she was always on the road due to her job. After we caught up, I turned my show on and we watched that while I finished up her nails.
I finished up at around 4:15. Once she left, I got ready for Imani to come pick me up. I wanted to wear something cute but casual since we were going to be doing a bit of walking around at the mall.
After I finished getting freshened up and dressed I got a message from Amari.

wassup mami. you got done with your client yet?
yea. im just waiting for mani to pick me up so we can go now

I rolled my eyes after his last message but I liked that he called me aysia. Nobody has used that nickname before besides my pops and I liked it.
I heard the front door close and I got my bag before walking out of my room to find Imani in the kitchen looking for something to eat like we aren't about to go eat.
"You know we're about to go eat?"
"Yeah and what about it?" she said as she grabbed a small bag of purple Doritos and came to stand by me.
I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the door.
"Come on and start thinking about what you want to eat because I hungry and I don't know what I want to eat," I said as I shut off all the lights and walked outside.

We arrived at a mall about 35 minutes away from my apartment. We also  decided on eating at Cheesecake Factory.
Once we got sat at a table I remembered that Amari wanted me to let him know when we got here.

I rolled my eyes at his message and added his number to my phone once he sent it to me before looking back up at Imani and putting my phone on the table face down.
"Who got you smiling at that damn phone?" my best friend said after she took a sip of her drink with a smirk on her face.
"Amari..." I said as I pulled my sweet tea closer to me so I could sip on it.
That led to us having a whole conversation about him and I filled her in on what happened this morning and how I kind of like how controlling he is but if it gets to be too much and in a toxic way then Imani told me not to stick around like she did with Von because we all know how that turned out.
We ate while we talked and then I paid for our meals before we walked to the shopping center that was connected to the restaurant.
We went to Bath & Body Works, Charlotte Russe, Hollister, and a couple of other places Imani wanted to stop by. I got a couple pairs of jeans from Old Navy and Hollister and then a couple of shirts from other places. We stopped by Starbucks to subdue my addiction and I got my favorite drink, a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappe.
After a couple of hours of walking around and shopping, Imani dropped me off at home but she couldn't stay over because she had work early in the morning and didn't want to disturb my sleep. I looked at her like she was crazy because did she not come barging in my room yelling this morning? Right.
Anyways I got home at around 10:20 and put my bags away before taking a shower and getting ready for bed. I wasn't going to sleep yet but I didn't want to relax while I was still dirty.
Once I was all situated, I went to the living room with my little blanket hoodie thingy and turned on The OA. Hopefully I would finish it tonight.
Before I got all comfortable, I checked my phone and saw I had a shit ton of messages from Amari... Not gonna lie, I totally forgot to check my phone while I was out. I was having a lot of fun with Mani and didn't feel the need to pull it out.

At least he didn't actually pull up. But he may still stop by tonight
Right when I thought that, I heard a knock on my front door.
I took a deep breath and got up to open the door. I already knew who it was so I opened the door wide enough for him to enter and then closed the door behind him and locking it. I didn't look at him at all until I made it back to the couch.
I sat there with my knees to my chest. I probably looked stupid because I had this hoodie thing on and I was looking real comfortable but at the same time it is my house and I can be comfortable in it.
"Hey..." I said to break the silence as he sat next to me on the couch facing me.
He still hadn't said anything and I felt like I was in trouble.
