I have been sitting in this party for about 20 minutes. It's a bit too crowded for me. Imani stayed with me for the first 10 minutes but she wanted to get drunk so she asked me if I would be okay by myself and then went to actually party.
I eventually got myself a drink. I got a bottle of water because I didn't want to drink around people I didn't know.
About 20 minutes later, it was much more crowded in here and it was hot as hell. I had just been sipping on my water while I scrolled through twitter on my phone but as it got more crowded and hotter, I found myself needing to be alone and in a quieter space. I couldn't go outside because there's a shit ton of people out there as well. Whoever was hosting this party knew a lot of people.
I decided to go upstairs and see if I could find an empty bedroom that I could relax in for a little bit and gather myself. The first few rooms had people in there. I came to the last room that was in this hall and knocked on the door so that if someone was in there, I wouldn't walk in on them fucking or some shit.
Nobody answered so I put my ear up to the door to see if I could hear anything. I couldn't hear anything in the room so I opened the door and walked in. After a couple of steps into the room, I got a good view of the whole room and there was a guy in here. The same one I saw outside that was holding a blunt in his hand like he was right now. His head was down looking at his phone as he took a pull from his blunt.
"S-sorry. I knocked and no one said anything" I said as I turned back around to leave the room.
He looked up once he heard my voice, "Nah, you're good. I'm about to leave so you can stay in here".
I stopped walking out of the room when I heard him talk and turned around to face him. His voice was so fucking attractive. "Are you sure? I won't be in here long, I just needed to be alone for a minute. I'll let you finish what you were doing though," I talked a lot when I got nervous and Im pretty sure I wasn't even making any sense.
He chuckled a bit at my yapping. "You're good, mami. Just sit down. I'll leave you alone once I finish this blunt."
I sat down on the bed and pulled my anxiety medicine out of my purse. I took one and then took my phone out of my purse as well as my AirPods. I was gonna watch this show that I have been obsessed with, The OA.
I laid back on the bed with my back against the headboard and watched my show. I looked up at one point and caught him looking at me. I instantly looked back down at my phone.
"What you watching?" I heard a voice say.
I looked up at him, "Um.. a show called The OA on Netflix"
"Hm." He said and went pack to looking at his phone.
I went back to watching my show. When I looked down at my phone, I saw I was getting a phone call from Imani. I answered it.
"You good?" I said into the phone.
"Yeah. I'm just ready to go, I'm not feeling too good" She said with a slur in her words
"Ok. Meet me at the door. I'll drive us back home"
I got my stuff and started walking out the room.
"Lil mama." I heard him say and turned around to face him
"Yeah?"
"Let me get your insta or sum" He said as he got up and walked towards me. He passed me his phone and I took it from him to put my insta into it. I followed myself on his phone and then gave his phone back to him.
"Good night" I said before I left the room and headed to the front door to meet Imani.
