I walked into Amari's house and closed the door behind myself. A couple of hours ago, he called me and told me to come over so I finished my client and then made my way over here. he left the door unlocked for me.
It was really quiet as I walked further into the house.
"Amari?" I called out.
I took off my shoes and made my way upstairs to his room to see if he was in there. He was playing the game with his headset on which was probably why he didn't hear me calling his name.
With the way that he had his game set up, he was facing the opposite direction of the door so he couldn't see me when I entered. I walked up behind him and leaned down to pepper kisses on his neck.
Amari took off his headset and places his hand on my head, keeping my head in place nestled in his neck.
"Hi, baby."
"Hello, Amari." I said and placed another kiss on his neck before standing up straight and walking around the chair so that I was face to face with him.
He pulled my waist down so that I was sitting on his lap. the way that I landed was uncomfortable so I moved into a straddle position that was more comfortable for me.

"How are you?"
"Good. I missed you." I said as I laid my head on his shoulder.
"I missed you too, mami. You staying over?"
"You want me to?"I asked.

I nodded my head as an okay. I was really tired and Mari was really comfortable so it was making it harder for me to stay awake.
"You tired, baby?"

"Did you eat today?"
"Yeah, I had some fruit for breakfast and then some leftovers for lunch." I said lowly with my head still resting on his shoulder.
"Mkay." He said before grabbing his headset and putting it back on and then went back to his game.
My eyes started to feel heavy and after a while I stopped fighting to sleep that was trying to overcome me.

"Man fuck this shit!" I heard Amari yell as I woke up.
"What happened?" I grumbled with my eyes still closed.
"Oh I'm sorry, mami. I ain't mean to wake you up. This fucking game got me fucked up." He mumbled the last part.
I laughed softly and his head snapped to look down at me. "What's funny?"
"You."
"Man you try playing and see how you act." He said and looked back at the game.
I shook my head as much as I could with my head still resting on his shoulder. I pulled my phone out of my back jeans pocket and started looking at TikTok.
While I was watching it, I scrolled upon a video that had a cute date idea and wanted to show Amari.
"Bubba we should do this." I said as I held my phone up to his face.
"Hold up, mami. Let me finish this play and then I'll look." He mumbled quickly and looked beyond my phone to see the screen.
I smacked my teeth and brought my phone back down to look at it. I saved the video in my favorites because I really liked the idea and I wanted to do it one day. I didn't feel like waiting for him to finish the play to show him so I continued to scroll through my for you page.
Eventually I got tired of TikTok so I put my phone down and looked up at Amari.
"What color do you think I should get my nails next?"

I groaned and just got up off his lap. Why did he even want me over if he was just going to be on the game the whole time and ignore me?
I laid down on his bed and saw his Ipad laying on the other side that I wasn't laying on. I grabbed it and went to Procreate to draw. As I opened Procreate, I heard Amari get up from his chair. I didn't look back to see where he was going but then I felt a dip on the bed by my feet. His hands came up beside my head and I could feel him hovering over me. He leaned down and placed soft kisses on my cheek.
"Im sorry, baby. I didn't meant to ignore you." He said and placed more kisses on my face.
"Mm." I hummed as I continued messing around on his Ipad. I wasn't going to acknowledge him since he didn't want to give me the time of day while he was on the game. I didn't care if I was being petty or dramatic.
"Alaysia." He said in a serious manner.
"What?" I mumbled.
"Chill out with the attitude. Im sorry for ignoring you while I was on the game. What did you want to show me?"
"It was nothing." I mumbled and continued drawing.
Amari snatched the Ipad from me and turned me over so that I was facing him. "Show me what you wanted to. I want to see."
"Are you sure because you didn't seem to want to see earlier." I mumbled quickly. At this point I was just being petty, I wasn't even that upset with him. Yeah, I was annoyed because he was dismissing me while he was on the game but it's not that deep. It would be a lot to ask him to stop in the middle of a round just for me.

A smirk appeared on his face and he said, "Oh really?" He started placing kisses all over my neck.
I put the Apple Pencil that I was using to draw on his Ipad down and gave him my full attention. A small smile appeared on my face as I felt his soft kisses trail down my neck. I wrapped my arms around his shoulder.
