"Alaysia, it's time to get up, baby." Amari said to me waking me up.
I groaned and rolled over, stuffing my head into the pillow that it was lying on. I felt him place his hands on my shoulders and then he started shaking me.
"Bruhhh." I nearly yelled. I did not like getting woken up and especially not by someone shaking me.
"Im not your bro, Alaysia. Now get up so we can go home." He said softly but with attitude in his voice.
"Well good thing I said 'bruh' and not 'bro'." I mumbled to myself before rolling over so that my back was now against the bed and then sitting up fully.
I had noticed that Amari was already fully dressed. I sat there for a good 5 minutes, just staring into space before deciding to get up and get dressed.
After I was dressed, I finished packing up the last of my things that I had used this morning to get ready and then Amari and I met Vanessa and Imani in the lobby.
I talked to them while Amari turned our keys in and checked out.
We headed back home and I slept the whole way. I didn't know why I was so tired because I went to sleep at a pretty decent time.
When I had woken up, Vanessa and Imani were no longer in the car and we were pulling into Amari's driveway. I was just sitting there as Amari parked the car and then turned it off. I didn't move. I didn't feel like moving.
"Come on, mami. Let's go inside." Amari said softly as he unbuckled my seatbelt.
I started making my way out of the truck but very slowly. It's like I didn't have any energy. "Would you mind bringing my suitcase inside, bubba?" I asked him monotonously.
"Sure. Are you feeling okay?" Amari said. He must've noticed how I was acting today.
I shook my head but he couldn't see me because he was busy getting our bags from out of the trunk. "No. I think I need to lay down."
"Ok. Let's go inside so I can check you out." He said as he hurried into the house, lugging my suitcase behind him and I followed him inside the house.
As soon as we got in the house, I went to his bedroom and laid down. I think I came down with something. Which was horrible because tomorrow was Christmas and I wanted to be able to enjoy it and not be in bed all day.
"Just give me a second, baby and I'll take your temperature." He said as he entered the bedroom with our bags and placed them onto the floor before going into the bathroom to wash his hands.
Amari came back with a thermometer in his hand. He sat beside me on the bed and gently brushed the hair from my face and then held the thermometer up to my mouth. I opened my mouth and he slid it under my tongue.
We sat there for a minute waiting for the thermometer to beep. When it did, he took it out of my mouth and then checked it.
"101.3. That's pretty high baby. Do you want to go see a doctor?" Amari asked me as he got up from the bed and returned the thermometer to the bathroom and then returning back to me.
"No. I think I just need some rest." I said and shuffled into the bed, trying to find a comfortable position. I was also freezing. "Can you get me some more blankets, please? I am freezing cold." I asked him as I shut my eyes.
"Of course." Amari got up and left the room to get some blankets. He came back with blankets of all sizes. Him being the most amazing boyfriend he is, tucked me in like a burrito with 2 of the blankets. Then he stripped from most of his clothes to where he was only wearing boxers and got into bed with me. He got under one of the blankets and wrapped his arms around me.
"Get away. I don't want you to catch whatever I have. " I said softly.
"I'll be okay." He placed a kiss on my forehead and then brought me closer to him.
I could feel my eyelids getting heavy so I closed them and let sleep take over me.

I woke up and was burning hot. I quickly removed the blankets from off of me and instantly felt a little better. Amari was no longer in bed with me so I got up and went downstairs to check if he was down there.
"Amari?" I called out.
"Im in the living room, baby."
I walked towards the living room and saw him sitting on the couch. Not only did I see him but I saw a little Christmas tree with lights on it and there were presents under the tree.
"How are you feeling?" Amari got up and walked over to me, placing the back of his hand to my head.
"Im feeling much better. Energized and normal temperature. What were you doing down here?"
"Well first, Merry Christmas, baby. Im glad you're feeling better. Second, I believe you have some presents to open."
"Aww, you got me gifts?" I said with a cheesy smile on my face.
"Yeah."
"Don't think that I am the only one opening gifts today because I did get you some. They're just back at my apartment so we'll have to go there later and get them for you. But thank you for doing this for me."
"Anything and everything for you. You didn't have to get me anything but I appreciate it." Amari said as his hand came up and he cupped my cheek before leaning down slightly and placing a soft kiss to my lips.
The kiss slowly got deeper and more passionate. I moaned softly and then pulled away.
"We have to got get your gifts so we can open our gifts together." I said and started walking the direction of his bedroom so I could go take a shower and get dressed.
Amari followed behind me. "We don't have to open them together. You can open yours now and then we can go over to your place later to open my gifts." He said.
"No, I want us to do it together. Im gonna take a shower and then we can go pick your gifts up." I said and then started taking off my clothes.
"Ok baby. I'll go make you something you can eat on the way there."
"Thank you!" I said and placed a quick kiss on his lips before heading to the bathroom so that I could shower.

We had just arrived back to Amari's house and I was so excited for him to open his gifts from me. I rushed into the house with his gifts in hand and put them under the tree before going up to his room.
"What are you in a rush for?" I hear him yell from downstairs.
I wanted us to have the full experience I guess. I had matching pjs for us to wear so I quickly put them on so that we could go sit on ground beside the tree and open up our presents like we were kids again.
"Come up here! I have something for you." I kind of yelled to Amari so that he could hear me from downstairs.
After a couple of seconds, I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and slowly got louder as he got closer to me.
When he entered the bedroom, I threw the set of pajamas at him and told him to put them on.
"I got us matching pjs." I said excitingly.
He just laughed and shook his head.
"Hurry up." I said and I kind of felt like a kid again when I would be the first one to wake up and tell everyone to hurry up so that we could open up our gifts.
Once he finished changing, I grabbed his hand and practically ran downstairs to the living room.
We sat down by the tree and he started handing me my presents. I did the same for him.
Then we started opening them.
Amari got me Jordan 4s and Jordan 3s, coincidentally the same pair I had got him but it was convenient because now we could match and I was happy about that. He got me an LV bag that I had told him I wanted a little bit ago and a pair of heels that I loved. He also got me a couple of things for his house since he wanted me to be here more often and I thought it was cute.
I had got him the Jordan 3s and some clothes. Â I had also got him some cooking stuff like some fancy cutting boards, a new knife set and other things like that because I know he loves to cook and I thought it was a really cute gift. I was hoping it would encourage him to follow his dreams more. There wasn't really anything that he had talked about while we were together that he wanted so I just got him some pretty generic things.
We finished opening up our gifts and then cleaned up the wrapping paper. We then sat on the couch and watched This Christmas.
When it came around to dinner time, Amari started cooking dinner. He said that he wanted to make me a "special Christmas dinner". While he did that, I FaceTimed my family and it was at a perfect time since it was around 2 o'clock there. They all shared with me what they had been gifted and I let them meet Amari really quickly.
They all seemed to love him which made me happy.
I talked to them for a bit longer while Amari continued to cook dinner before they had to start preparing for their dinner. I then called Imani to tell her 'Merry Christmas' and she told me about the amazing Christmas morning that she had with Vanessa. She told me all about how Vanessa is treating her right. I was happy to hear it.
After our lovely dinner which was oh so delicious, Amari took me upstairs and gave me one last present. He went down on me and made me cum until I worn out.
I would have to say that it was a pretty great Christmas with the love of my life.

hey guys!!!! this chapter was pretty ass but I wanted to get a chapter out tdy even though its nearly the next day. I want to let yall know that im ready to move on from this book so if I add any more chapters it's not going to be consistent. I am so excited to start on my next book bc as I said previously the ideas are flowing.
EDIT: I added something to the chapter. Not much at all but something that has given me inspiration to continue writing this book so there will probably be some new chapters out by tmr.
