I woke up in a bed and I had no recollection of how I got here. I rolled to my side and saw Amari fast asleep before rolling to my other side and grabbing my phone from off of the nightstand to check what time it was. It was 9:11am. I would never be able to tell because of the blackout curtains Amari hung on his windows in his room.
I assumed that he had carried me inside of his house and changed my clothes before placing me in his bed which was nice of him because he didn't wake me up last night.
It was late enough for me to wake Amari up just because I wanted to. If it was any earlier I would have felt bad and wouldn't wake him up but we left the party at around 11:40 which meant he got at least 8 hours of sleep. The recommended amount so I don't feel bad that I am about to wake him up out of his sleep.
I put my phone back down on the nightstand moved to where I was straddling his lap. I gently placed kissing all over his neck hoping it would get him to wake up slowly. He wasn't budging so I started shaking his shoulders.
"Wake up, bubba." I said softly but loud enough to hopefully wake him.
He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. "Good morning, baby. What can I do for you?"
"Wake uppp." I said as I shook his shoulders more.
"Im up, baby. Im up."
I smiled and buried my head in his neck. "I just wanted you to be awake with me."
I probably sounded ridiculous but it was okay. I knew I was being clingy as well and I may have to lay off on that because I was starting to get a little self-conscious which made me think that maybe he wouldn't like it and I would start to annoy him.
I got in my head and then slid off of him. "Im sorry. You can go back to sleep." I said softly and then rolled over so that I was facing the opposite direction of him and grabbed my phone off of the nightstand.
"Mami." He said as he shuffled over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, spooning me.
"Hm?"
"What's the matter with you? Hm?"
"Nothing. Im sorry for waking you."
Amari rolled me over and put my phone down before lifting my chin so that I was looking at him. "Alaysia. Talk to me. At first you're all happy and energetic, wanting me to wake up and now you're acting all bipolar and shit. What happened and don't lie to me, Aysia." He said sternly but softly.
"I wanted to wake you up and be with you but then I started thinking that I was annoying you and you wouldn't want me anymore if I kept annoying you." I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear me.
"Oh baby. Nothing you do could actually annoy me. I like that you want to spend time with me. You gotta stop getting so in your feels and just talk to me. Okay?"
I nodded my head.
"Words, mami."
"Okay, bubba."
"Now let's watch our show for a little bit. I love you." He said and gave me a quick kiss on my lips before grabbing the remote so that he could turn the tv on.
"I love you too, bubba"
I laid my head on his chest while we watched the show. I liked how dark it was in his room due to the blackout curtains. I wasn't one for lit up rooms often. Like I didn't like having the light on or the curtains open. It was something about the dark that I just enjoyed and I appreciated that he was one of those people as well.
We watched the show for a while before I fully got out of my feels and wanted to bother him again. I laid on top of his and started kissing his neck. I left a couple of hickeys on his neck while his hands roamed my body.
I wasn't really in the mood for any freaky shit. I just felt like messing around. I bit on his neck because I knew that he wasn't the biggest fan of that.
"What I tell you about biting me?"
I took my head out of his neck and looked up at him innocently. I shrugged my shoulders, acting like I didn't remember when he told me to stop biting him yesterday.
He laughed at me before pushing me off of him so that he could get up from the bed. I groaned. "Where are you going, bubba?"
"I wanna take a shower and get ready for the day. Is there anything you want to do today?" He said as he walked into the bathroom and left the door open.
"No, not really. Just relax with you, get some DoorDash and eat in bed. Some days I just don't want to do much. You know?" I walked into the bathroom behind him and watched him get undressed.
"Can I shower with you, Mari?" I asked shyly because we haven't really done anything this intimate before.
"Of course, baby."
I had a faint smile on my face as I started to strip from my clothes. He turned on his shower and stepped in. I stepped in after I wrapped my hair up. The water was already fairly warm which was impressive seeing as he just turned the water on. It was also a rainfall shower which was really fancy to me but I had already seen his most of the rest of his house so I didn't;t really expect any less.
(It's something like this, just a bit smaller.)
The water was getting too hot for me so I moved from under it and turned the temperature down using the panel on the shower wall.
"Hey, what did you do that for?" He asked and came over to where I was standing at the panel before turning the temperature back to what it was at previously.
"It was fucking burning me." I said and changed the temperature back.
He smacked his lips and left it at that. "Fine but watch that mouth."
"It's not like I turned it cold, I just made it to where it didn't scorch my fucking skin off." I said and mumbled the last part.
I grabbed my washrag and added soap to it, lathering it up before starting to wash my body and Amari did the same.
After rinsing ourselves off, we didn't get out of the shower right away. I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head on his chest. He stroked my back with his fingers and we just stood there for a while.
We eventually got out of the shower and did our skin care side by side at the sink. It was cute. It was something I had always wanted to do in a relationship.
I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and then moisturized it. I left the bathroom before him because apparently he had a pretty lengthy skin care routine which was probably why his skin was so clear. I went straight to his closet and grabbed one of his shirts that I could wear over my underwear. I didn't plan on going anywhere so this was a perfect outfit.
Once he came out the bathroom, he asked me what I wanted to eat. I told him that I wanted some Wingstop since it was now almost 1 in the afternoon. He ordered our food and then got dressed himself. He put on a pair of grey sweatpants and a black wife beater before getting back into bed with me.
We watched our show while we waited for our DoorDash order to arrive. I was really looking forward to the food. I was pretty hungry and I realized it was most likely because I didn't eat last night at the party and I didn't eat all morning.
After the food arrived, Amari brought it back to the room and I ate it at his desk because sometimes I get unintentionally messy when I eat wings so I didn't want get his bed all dirty with sauce.
We continued to watch our show after we finished eating and pretty much did that for the rest of the day. For dinner, we ordered Dominoes because I was craving their stuffed cheesy bread. We ate in bed again and it was probably my favorite day I have had with him so far just because I had him all to myself with no distractions, doing what I loved. Relaxing and eating with a couple of make-out sessions in between.

hi everyone!!!! I kind of want to apologize for this chapter because it was pretty bad. it was a filler chapter, I just wanted to get another chapter out like I told you I would and ik what I want to do for the next chapter so it will be better. don't be scared to give me some ideas of anything you want me to write a chapter about.
