I woke up to something shuffling under me and let out a small groan because I hate being disturbed in my sleep.
The shuffling didn't stop so I opened my eyes.
"Can you please stop moving?" I said with sleep in my voice.
I had already assumed it was Amari because he was the only one here last night. We must have fell asleep while we were watching Shameless on the couch which means my back is finna be hurting all day because this is not the couch to be sleeping on.
"Get up," I heard him say.
I mugged him because how was he gonna wake me out of my sleep and then demand I get up.
I shook my head and laid my head back down on his chest.
He smacked his lips and shuffled around some more.
"Nigga stop moving or get up. Im trying to sleep," I felt a pinch on my side, "Ow."
I finally decided to get up because he was doing too much.
"Where you going?"
"To my bed where I can be comfortable without you," I said as I walked away from the living room and towards my bedroom.
I got to my room and laid down on my bed. Then I feel a drop on the other side of my bed but ignored it because I was not gonna let him disturb my peace.
"Mami."
I rolled my eyes even though they were closed. Why does he have to speak so much in the morning. I didn't respond to him.
"Aysia."
"What?" I said turning my head to face him while it was still leaning on my pillow.
"Watch the attitude. Im gonna leave because you obviously don't want me here anymore," he said getting up from that side of the bed.
I rolled my eyes blatantly because he was so dramatic, "I never said that but I just woke up and you're doing a lot of talking. Can't you just lay down with me for a little bit in silence? Please?"
He smacked his lips and got back into the bed with me. I had a smile on my face and shuffled closer to him. He put his arm around my waist.
He pulled out his phone and went to TikTok. I watched it with him for a while before I started to get hungry and I knew exactly what I wanted to eat, I just didn't want to make it myself so I decided to ask him to do it for me since he wants to be my mans so bad, "Mariii..." I kind of dragged out his name and looked up at him.
"Yes, mami?"
"Can you please make me something to eat?"
He gave me a blank stare for a couple of seconds, "What you want me to make?"
Aww, he was willing to make something for me to eat. "Can you cut me up some fruit please and drizzle some honey on top?" I gave him a sweet smile.
"Sure... but only if I can get a kiss."
I acted like I was thinking about it even though there was no question because this man knows how to kiss and I really wanted some fruit. After a couple of seconds of "thinking", I gave him a quick peck on his lips.
Before I could fully pull away, he grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me back towards him and gave me another kiss except this one was a bit longer and more passionate.
"Im hungry," I mumbled in the middle of the kiss.
He pulled away from me and looked at me like I was crazy. I laughed a little and moved away from him so he got the hint to get up and go to the kitchen.
Yes, I feel like Im taking advantage of him but it wasn't that big of a deal and if he wants to have me then he's gonna have to learn that I am a very needy woman that sometimes likes to be lazy.
He got up after placing a kiss on my head and made his way to the kitchen.
While he was gone, I pulled out my phone and went to instagram. I posted a couple of pictures and then just scrolled on my feed.
He came back about 20 minutes later.
"Took you long enough," I said jokingly as I sat up against my headboard and he gave me an annoyed look, "Im just playing. Thank you."
I took the bowl of fruit and a fork from him and then he came to sit beside me on the bed. I took a couple of bites before spearing a strawberry and holding it up to his mouth because I wasn't just gonna let him sit there and watch me eat.
He ate the strawberry off of my fork.
"I got to start getting ready," I said as I finished off the bowl of fruit.
He put down his phone and faced me, "For what?"
"Nosey much. But nothing really, I just like feeling fresh and clean to start my day off. You want a tooth brush or anything or are you going back to your place?" I got up from my spot and walked into the bathroom that was attached to my bedroom.
"Nah, I gotta get home and get out of these clothes. I probably won't be able to come over for a couple of days so I'll probably text you to check in with you and what not," He got up and flattened out his clothes.
I had a small frown on my face but wiped it off my face when I went to face him and walked out the bathroom to go walk him out the apartment.
"Ok. I'll try to remember to respond to your messages," I joked as we approached the front door.
"You better," he said with a smile on his face before grabbing my chin and placing a quick kiss on my lips and then leaving the apartment.
He left me with a smile on my face. I then went to my bathroom to get ready for my day. I didn't have any appointments today so it was going to be a pretty boring day especially since he won't be here bothering me or keeping me company.
I'll probably go grocery shopping and hit up Imani though so I can give her the deets on Mari and then we can hang out a bit. Maybe she can stay the night.
