Twisted Engagement (6)
Rowenaâs face turned red as she lowered her head, made eye contact, and mumbled. From her expression, it was clear that she was already imagining something naughty.
Cecil continued with a strange smile.
âI will hold you there day and night, and make you a body that you cannot live without the lewd pleasures I give you.â
âU-uwakk!â
The startled Rowena recoiled. But Cecil narrowed the distance down immediately as if it were unacceptable.
âMy bedroom teacher, you can do it, right?â
âYes, no, no! No! This is notâ¦â
Cecil laughed inwardly at Rowenaâs bewildered appearance.
âCan you do it? Or are you going to be locked in my room and held by me?â
âI-I can do it!â
Rowena, who unknowingly became a bedroom teacher, flushed from head to toe. She had never kissed before, how could she do that?!
âW-wait!â
Rowena came to her senses belatedly.
âIâm not engaged to you yet!â
âDid you notice? But what do we do?â
Cecil looked at Rowena with a brazen face, unable to be natural.
âYou promised me to be my bedroom teacher. Count Adelia wouldnât allow this if it wasnât official, so I think we should get engaged.â
What is this law?
Rowena looked at Cecil in astonishment.
âWell, thatâs not fair! I never made that promise!â
âDidnât you do it just now? Iâm not backing down.â
Rowena was dead when Cecil took the first word of the bedroom teacher to Count Adelia. The count would try to use that excuse to pin Rowena to Cecil somehow.
I canât get out of this!
The only thing left was to run away, but there was a difference between the weight of a lady from a count family running away and that of the emperorâs fiancée running away. Cecilâs ability to find Rowena in less than a month was certain!
âWhatâs the problem? If you donât fall in love with me until a year later, thatâs enough. If your heart remains the same after a year, Iâll divorce youâ
âOh, then if I have a baby?â
âIâll give you contraception for a year.â
He didnât seem to have any intention of using separate rooms. Rowena looked at Cecil with a tearful look. Cecil said with a soft face.
âI wonât do anything that you say no to, so donât worry. Kissing, touching⦠Iâll wait for you to come to me.â
Youâre lying!
âBut you said you wouldnât give up the engagement!â
âDo we have to? If we donât get engaged now, thereâs no telling where you would run off to.â
At Cecilâs words, Rowena thought her license had been discovered. He didnât know about that. No, she thought he did. Cecil continued, thinking.
âYou were going to get a license and become an earl. Is it not?â
ââ¦â
Rowenaâs expression hardened. It seemed that he really knew it. Cecil whispered with a smile around his mouth.
âYouâd better give up on that path. Wherever you go, you have to reveal your last name Adelia to use that qualification. Do you really think the count wonât find you?â
âItâsâ¦â
Adeliaâs name was not that great, so she thought she could go to a local city. The empire was really big. She didnât expect the count to follow her there.
But if the person who saw her license sent a letter to Count Adelia, it was all over.
âItâll only be a year. If you stay by my side for a year, you will be free. I donât think thatâs a bad offerâ
The former queen was treated as a marquis even if she had no children with the emperor. Depending on her status, she was granted an estate or a pension, so it was not as bad as Cecil said.
âButâ¦â
Rowena was unlikely to let Cecil keep his promise.
Thereâs no other way!
The coveted bait was shaking before her eyes, and Rowena finally decided to fall for what he said.
âWell, do you really have to keep your promise?!â
âOf course.â
There has never been a time when Cecilâs smiling face was more unreliable than this. That expression was definitely caught! He looked like that.
âReally, really! You have to protect me!â
Cecil smirked as he stomped and spoke.
âYeah. Do you want me to write you a contract?â
âHuhâ¦â
âIâm kidding.â
When Rowena seemed to really ask for it, Cecil quickly changed his words. Rowena wanted to hang on to Cecil to write the contract, but her opponent was the crown prince. He was a difficult opponent!
âContractâ¦â
âTake the royal carriage when you go back. You must have snuck out, so you walked here, right?
It was because she had to save money. Of course, the carriage was not the problem for Rowena today.
âYou said youâd write me a contract!â
