Jayden woke up the next morning in Enoch's bed and gave him a peck on the cheek which woke him up. "What was that for?" Enoch said a little grumpily. "Nothing in particular." Jayden said before getting up and getting changed. Enoch sunk his head into his pillow, obviously so he wouldn't see Jayden. Old habits die hard. "I'm not going to jog today." Jayden yawned. "Aww why?" Enoch said a little playfully. "I don't know, I just want a break." Jayden said. "Ok, I'm going back to sleep. Only wake me if it's lunch or if I'm going to be killed." Enoch grumbled before pulling the blanket over himself a little more. He had grown a rough exterior, and created walls. But Jayden would just have to soften that exterior and smash down those walls. He knew Enoch had made them just to live, and avoid the pain of caring for People. It was sad and made Jayden feel a pang of guilt. He went down into the kitchen, ate some toast and started scrolling on YouTube. There was a video called Masks: PILOT. He clicked on it and started watching. It was pretty interesting stuff, it was comedic and had great voice acting. In the credits there was only one guy, who animated and voice acted it all. Impressive stuff. He subscribed to the channel, which was called the musty crusty corner. He noticed time had flown bye and it was lunchtime already. He knocked on Enoch's door before shaking him awake. "Fuck off! Oh it's you." Enoch grumbled as he got out of bed. He got his clothes and went into the bathroom, then he got changed and came out. "It's lunchtime already?" He said, before going down the stairs with Jayden. He yawned, grabbed some Bread, Lettuce, Ham and Corn to make his famous BLHC sandwich. He hummed to the tune of a song from masks it was the song about the protagonist being on the streets and an orphan, and how the people who had superpowers weren't heroes but people chasing fame. "You've watched it too?" Jayden said. "Watched what?" Enoch said. "Masks of course. It's getting really popular." Jayden said. "Oh, oh yeah I watched it, I was one of the first... hundred you know it, it just popped up." Enoch said. "I wonder who musty crusty is." Jayden said making Enoch seem a little nervous. "Oh come on, don't be embarrassed you watched a cartoon, it's really adult." Jayden said. When the sandwiches were done he dug in. He didn't realise it but he ate 5 of them and he was feeling very full. He struggled to get up because of the bloat, his shirt also seemed slightly snugger around the waste. He was going to go for a jog tomorrow so it was fine. He went into his room and flopped on his bed.
A FEW MINUTES LATER:
When Enoch was in the safety of his room he felt a mix of excitement and worry. Worry that Jayden could find out he was making Masks, Excitement that it had blown up so much over night. He checked his channel on his computer and, sure enough he had 100k subscribers. WHAT THE HELL! He knew he had to start working on episode 1 immediately.
