Enoch felt so sick in the morning he wanted to throw up. Of course he also didn't want to because throwing up was a terrible experience. He went into the bathroom and stood on the scale. He was 169 pounds (77 kg). He had also developed a small belly from it and little love handles protruding from his sides. His moobs were a little softer to. He walked down into the kitchen and made some breakfast. He ate cereal and left toast on the kitchen counter for Jayden. He walked upstairs to get dressed as he had come up with a particular idea on what to do to keep himself busy. He put jeans on and they were very tight but he still managed and his shirt was fine if a little snugger but not much. He sat down and started typing on his computer in word. He was going to right a novel! And so he continued to write, edit, world build, scrap, edit and write more for the next few weeks.
4 WEEKS LATER:
Thanksgiving had rolled around and Tom had invited him and Jayden over. They were heavily encouraged to bring a dish because everyone else was. "Jayden, we're invited to thanksgiving at Tom's house. Do you want to come? I'm fine with you spending the holidays with your family, you haven't seen them in a while." Enoch said. "No it's fine, they're already busy enough with the entire family coming to stay and have thanksgiving. All my cousins, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, grandparents, second cousins, great grandparents and siblings in law are coming over so one less person won't matter, they don't even have enough time to pay attention to me." Jayden shrugged making Enoch stroke his cheek. "So what are we going to bring? We're supposed to bring a dish." Enoch asked Jayden. "You make good Italian food. Pizza doesn't fit the mood but a cheesy pasta bake would fit in!" Jayden suggested. "You know what yeah that is a good idea, thanks handsome." Enoch said hugging Jayden. He hadn't been spending enough time with Jayden recently because he had just surrounded himself in the work of writing his novel. He got out a glass baking dish and got to it, Jayden occasionally kissed him or passed him ingredients but he wasn't really that involved because he knew Enoch was concentrating extremely hard to make it perfect. He liked having something to do, and if he was going to do it it was going to be fucking good or he'd try it again. He was determined, stubborn and loyal and having something to project that onto was always good even sometimes relaxing. He had finished cooking it and put a sheet of tinfoil onto it to keep it piping hot. Jayden and Enoch both got into the car and a few minutes later they were at Tom's house. They knocked on the door and were greeted by Tom. "Come in, come in! Good to see you Jayden, always good." Tom said as he led them through the hallway into the dining room. Enoch placed the pasta bake down. He heard some muttering and what he saw when he turned his head...
MEANWHILE:
Jayden could tell something was wrong so he looked in the direction Enoch was looking and sitting at the head of the table, smug faces and all were Mr and Mrs O'Connor themselves. "Long time no see, Boyce." Mr O'Connor said smugly at Jayden. How did he know his last name?! "Just a second." Enoch said before pulling Tom into the hallway, Jayden then followed them. "Why did you invite them? I'd be happier if you invited the devil! Oh wait you did." Enoch said sarcastically. "I thought it would be nice if they were invited to thanksgiving. I made them promise not to be rude." Tom said. "Oh you thought? You thought did you?" Enoch said pinning his older brother against the wall. "Well let me tell you bitch, you don't invite people like that into your house, not unless you want drama and a ruined event!" Enoch spat in Tom's face. "Just give them a second chance. Please?" Tom begged. "How about? NO! I already did at the airport and what did they do? They bewittled me and my boyfriend, abused me and overall do what they do best, stir up drama. They crave it, it's what fuels them!" Enoch said in Tom's face. Enoch took his hands off Tom. "Look if you want to have a terrible thanksgiving then so be it. Your too kind to people Tom, something I learned is you can only give someone so many chances. No one can be trusted unless you know who they are, everything about them. And I know nothing about them, and apparently you." Enoch said before walking out of the hallway and sitting down at the table. Jayden sat down next to him and held his hand under the table. Did he know everything about him? He didn't know about Haymitch, he didn't know how he truly felt about feeding. Tom sat down in between Mrs, O'Connor and Alyce. Enoch reluctantly sat in between Jayden and Mr O'Connor. They ate a little but didn't talk much. That was until Alyce couldn't stand the silence anymore. "So what have you been doing recently?" Alyce asked Enoch. "I've actually been writing a novel, was it you who made this mashed potato? It's really good." Enoch said. "Yeah. The real secret is to add extra salt but make the mashed potatoes as creamy as possible." Alyce said.
A FEW MINUTES LATER:
Enoch was eating a lot. He couldn't resist food and the mashed potatoes were right up his street. He also liked the Turkey and had to begrudgingly admit that his parents gravy and Yorkshire puddings were good. His pasta bake also seemed to be a hit. He soon felt  his jean button was super tight but he realised it too late as his Jean button popped off and hit Alyce's leg. She looked startled for a second before realising what had happened and continued talking regularly to avoid Enoch getting embarrassed. But it was too late and his parents had noticed. "So you've been writing a novel recently? You wouldn't really have time to excersise would you." His father said smugly. "No I've been focusing on my work, and no I'm not going to get you to publish it." Enoch said. "You'll come crawling back to us eventually, you kids always do. You always need something or forgive us. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about." His mother said snarkily as Tom and Alyce suddenly became interested in the floor. "I won't because even if it doesn't get published I'd rather have none of my stories published then ask you for help." He said angrily. "Oh do remember we own you, all of you. We are always pulling the strings. Or should I remind you every time you've come to us for help?" His mother said. "Bring it on, I'm not scared of you anymore." Enoch said defiantly. "Oh well let's begin, hmm?" His dad said pulling out a list.
