Enoch looked around at all the glistening shiny surfboards. But one stuck out to him out of all of them. A rainbow surfboard with different coloured cats stretched out to make the rainbow. To describe it simply it was a bunch of cats stretching and someone had gotten each cat and painted it a different colour and they were all arranged to make a rainbow. Cats were Enoch's favourite animal and he hoped to own a cat one day. He picked it up and showed it off to all the surfer dudes. "Good choice, she's been greased recently so she'll be extra slick in the water." Limak said who seemed to be the board expert out of all of them. "Good thing you invited this dude J-bob. He's pretty chill." Bailey said to Jacob putting his hand on his shoulder. "Hey Lucas finish that beer quick!" Bailey said to a blonde, average man. And when I say average I mean his body type. It wasn't muscular or lean or chubby it was just regular "And moutaz stop eating all the chips! Save it for after the surfing you glutton." Bailey said to a tanned but chubby man with brown hair, he kind of turned Enoch on. They got their surfboards ready and headed into the waves.
1 HOUR LATER:
It was lunch time when they had stopped surfing. Enoch had done pretty well and through out it his gaydar flickered a little whenever Bailey smiled at him. But Enoch was 85% sure Bailey was straight. They put they're surfboards away and they were about to have lunch when Jacob pulled Enoch behind the surfing shack. "Listen I get your having a fun time and all but my mates are super homophobic. You were really risking it with your surfboard choice but I couldn't tell you infront of them obviously. Just be careful to not let them know you or Jayden are gay, ok?" Jacob said seriously. "Ok, thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it." Enoch said to his brother in law which was weird to consider Jacob as that. They were more acquaintances at best but he could feel a bond growing between them. They both walked back to where everyone else was eating... "hah! We're eating fish and chips!" Jayden teased making Enoch roll his eyes. Enoch sat down on a beach chair and took his portion of fish and chips. "Slow down there moutaz you could get too fat to surf." Lucas joked irritating moutaz and earning a glare. "So Enoch I've been getting to know Jayden and I was wondering how you too got acquainted as he must be very important for Jacob to invite him. Because he isn't family, and he isn't friends with Jacob like Tom and he sure as hell isn't married to him either so how does he fit into the puzzle?" Bailey asked. "Well we're actually-" "Roomates! We're roomates! I don't go anywhere without him to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." Enoch said scruffing up Jayden's hair earning him a very confused look. "I have to go to the toilet." Jayden said nudging Enoch lightly. "Me too. Such a coincidence how roomates are so connected." Enoch said before walking off with Jayden. "What the fuck was that all about?" Jayden asked angrily. "Jacob told me that... his friends are homophobic and it's litterally the only bad thing about them I promise, they're actually really chill apart from that so just play along. I don't want to ruin another public event." Enoch pleaded. "Ugh fine I'll tolerate it because they do seem pretty nice. And hot." Jayden said. "So you aren't the only one who noticed it?" Enoch asked. "Obviously not! They're practically begging for me to take off they're swim trunks." Jayden said before realising it was getting way too sexual. They both silently agreed to go back and sit down. They finished they're food before everyone started chatting.
A FEW MINUTES LATER:
Jayden had to admit Bailey and his crew seemed like nice guys. And they were all hot in their own different ways. Then they started playing spin the bottle. Of course they only had a full bottle so Alyce guzzled it down surprisingly fast. Jayden could tell she was a little drunk. Bailey spun the bottle and it landed on moutaz. "You have to... tell us how much you weigh!" Bailey said. Jayden could tell moutaz was feeling a little uncomfortable but he did it anyway. "193 pounds." Moutaz sighed. "Your 5'10 right?" Limak said before the entire surfer crew started laughing. Even Jacob was holding back a snigger. Next it was Lucas's turn to spin the bottle and Jayden had gotten the impression that he was Bailey's right hand man. It landed on Jayden. Lucas grinned and Jayden knew what he was going to say. "How much do you weigh?" Lucas said grinning. Enoch held his arm before Jayden stood up. "You don't have to do this you know." Enoch said. "No it's fine, trust me Nox it's ok" Jayden said standing up. "I'm 5'11, I weigh 210 pounds and have a waist circumference of about 42 centimetres." Jayden said before sitting down. Nobody laughed. Jayden thought it was because he said it calmly and unashamed. But he talked to soon as everyone started laughing. Even moutaz was laughing probably to deflect the attention from him. "Oh my god you really measure all that, like even your waist? At that point it's ridiculous!" Lucas said before laughing even more. "You know what I thought you were actually decent guys! But obviously I was wrong!" Jayden said before storming off.
