Violette POV
He stilled inside me, I felt his c**k pulsing as he filled me up. If he were my mate, I would surely get pregnant. But he isnât. So I have no worries.
His hand loosened from my hair, his breaths loud and shaky. I almost couldnât even keep myself standing, my legs are so weak. I leaned down on the desk, holding myself up by my hands as my legs shook.
âStand up.â He demanded. His voice wasnât brutal, but I could tell he was displeased. Did he not enjoy himself? He seemed to have..
âY-yes.. Mas-Master.â My voice was shaky and I almost couldnât even form the words. As I stood up, I stumbled.. almost falling completely over but his hands snaked around my waist and he held me up. He pressed himself against my back, I could feel and hear his heart racing in his chest.
I was lightheaded, and the room around me was spotty and black in certain spots. Iâd wish that would go away.
âAre you okay?â He asked in a concerned tone. I raised my eyebrows in shock that he would even ask.
âY-yes. Master. Iâm fine.â I said. His grip loosened from me and he pulled away.
âGet dressed.â He said. I could still tell that something was bothering him. Did I do something wrong? Did I make him mad with my m***s? Was he mad that I enjoyed myself? I had many questions that I couldnât bear to ask.
Guilt soared through me. Iâve been unfaithful to my mate. I did the one thing I swore Iâd never do. I let my Master take my virtue.. willingly. I stumbled to pick up my dress that was lying on the floor. I stepped into it, sliding it up my body and fitting my arms through the straps. I tied the string between my breasts and looked at my master, waiting for him to dismiss me.
He didnât even bother to look at me. He just growled and grumbled as he pulled his pants on. He seemed angry the more I studied him. Yet not once did he spare me a glance.
âYou may leave.â He said. His voice was laced with disgust and I felt a pang of.. hurt in my heart. Why did that bother me so much?
âYes, Master,â I said. I quickly turned around and walked out of his office and across his chambers. Before I could even reach the door I was pushed into it, he had my back pressed firmly against the door with his hand on my throat. His cold eyes traveled down my face, landing on my lips and chin. With his other hand, he ran his thumb across my chin wiping the still-flowing b***d away. My lightheadedness had yet to go away, and I was afraid Iâd lose consciousness at any second.
His eyes softened for a moment, Iâd almost thought Iâd imagined it. Maybe my life would be ending right now.
âIâm sorry.. that it hurt at first.â He said.
âItâs fine.. Master.â I replied breathlessly. He studied my eyes for any lies and when he found none, he nodded.
âI forgot your collar.â He said. He lifted his hand from my neck and walked back to his office. I held onto the door, and my eyesight began to go blurry.. but I quickly tried to hide it as he grabbed the collar and returned. He gathered my hair in one hand and I grabbed it. I turned around and he wrapped the collar around my neck and I heard the click of the lock.
Just like that, my mind went blank and I began to slip. I could no longer hold myself up, my eyesight going completely dark as I began to faint. I stumbled once again but before hitting the floor, he scooped me up in his arms and thatâs all I can remember before I completely lost consciousness.

I woke up surrounded by softness. I took a deep breath and was met with a familiar scent. My eyes fluttered open and the sight in front of me made me shriek in fear. I pushed myself to the far corner of Masters chambers, far away from the blanket that was once on his bed but was now on the floor.
I heard feet hit the hard ground and I looked up to see Master staring at me in confusion. I buried my face in my hands as I sobbed. He will surely take my life for this. I donât even remember how I ended up asleep on Masterâs floor. And Iâm afraid he wonât even care as he rips my heart out.
âViolette..â his voice made my heart race even faster.
I couldnât even conjure up a reply as the sobs left my throat.
âViolette, whatâs wrong?â He asked. It almost sounded like he was worried. His voice was almost comforting, in an odd way.
âI.. I didnât mean to.. master. Please.. please donât kill me.â I cried.
âYou didnât mean to what? Iâm so confused.â He said. My crying died down and I looked up at him through teary eyes.
âI didnât mean to fall asleep. I donât remember how..â I said. My throat hurt as I spoke.
âYou didnât fall asleep. You passed out. It mustâve been how rough I was. Or maybe itâs your condition.â He said. He sat on the edge of his bed and stared at me blankly.
His hair was tousled in his head, his eyes half open. In the darkness I can still tell that he wears nothing but a pair of boxers on.. his bare chest out in the open for me to gawk at. Goddess, I woke him.
âThen.. then why am I still here? Why didnât you have someone take me away?â I asked. He sighed and rubbed his scruffy face in his hands.
âI had Beatrice check on you. She said you would be fine, that you needed rest.â He said. I looked at him confused.
âBut that still doesnât explain..â he cut me off.
âI allowed it. Youâre not in trouble, and I wonât kill you.â He said. I nodded my head but still couldnât stop the tears that were flowing.
âCome here.â He said. I wiped my face with the backs of my hands before I stood. I walked over to him, hesitantly stopping in front of him.
âBeatrice said whatever it was has helped your.. condition. That maybe, making your mate feel your pain has somehow made it better. But itâs not a solution. Just see for yourself.â He said. I raised an eyebrow at him and he grabbed the bottom of my dress and lifted it up. I saw the bruising on my stomach, but it wasnât nearly as bad as it was. It was now turning yellow and looked like it was healing somewhat.
âIâve also decided we will keep your wolfsbane at a lower dosage in hopes that it will help your healing. Even though youâve grown a tolerance for it.â He said. I looked him in the eyes.. I couldnât help myself as I spoke.
âItâs going to kill me,â I said. He tilted his head to the side.
âBeatrice told me when she was here.â He said. I lowered my head in shame.
âAre you angry.. that I didnât tell you?â I asked. He let out a sigh.
âYes. But I understand why. Iâve decided not to punish you for it.â He said.
âYou.. you have?â I asked in a small voice.
