The evening dawned, as the birds made their way back to their nests. The sunny shades mixed into the horizons. Sanyukta hadn't found her phone yet, tired she had decided to take a break on the garden. She glanced at the plants that were neatly planted, colorful flowerbeds created at mere distances. Bushes neatly trimmed. She folded her arms and kept walking in the garden. She found a bush full of roses. She kneeled down a bit, her nostrils caught the refreshing fragrance from the buds. She closed her eyes and savored the moment.
Her trance was broken the moment she heard footsteps on the pavement running in the garden. She turned to find the same hooded guy. She wondered how did he manage to walk properly with his eyes covered... If it would have been her, she would probably be tripping every 2 meters...Show off ! she muttered.
She also wondered how did he look like, if his built was anything to go by, surely what was underneath this hood was worth looking at... ok stop Sanyukta, drooling on your kidnapper is highly improper !
"Here comes the devil", she said looking at him.
"To what do I owe the honor of your visit, your highness ?" ...respect he wanted, right ? overly dramatic respect he will get ! She was fair enough to grant him 50% of his wish, wasn't she ?
"Don't you dare" came his calm voice.
"Don't I dare what ? ...meri majal ? Me hoti kon hun ?" She said very dramatically. Now that sounded like a very selfish version of the oh so famous "Tum hote kon ho ?!" With a stress on the word "HOTE" for the perfect dramatic outcome, she giggled at her thought.
"Believe me girlie, you have not seen the devil side of mine yet, and pray that you'll never see it", he said in a cold voice. Aaah back to the threats again...she sighed.
"Like am scared", she came her calm reply. She mentally smacked herself, ...of course you are ! you are scared to death, this guy could kill you in a blink of eye and here you are, playing all rough and tough,...blame the stupid ego !
"I told you to watch this attitude of yours, could land you in big troubles" he said approaching her.
"I make no apologies for the fact your b*lls aren't big enough to handle my personality" she rolled her eyes and started looking at her manicure. Now that was mean... but he had nearly asked for it, his mere presence unnerved her.
In a second the hooded guy had his hand around her neck, applying little pressure. Sanyukta's eye grew bigger. ...Seems like this insult to his little him got to him. ...Men !
"Do not awake the beast inside me, cause I promise you it is not pretty" he warned her. For a second a very dirty thought came to her mind...Which beast ?!... she quickly snapped out of it ! Now was not definitely not the moment to have those kind of thoughts.
Sanyukta debated for a second if she could answer him back or not ...considering the slightly delicate situation she was in. She knew they needed her and were looking for her for a long time... Also there was the fact that she was still alive and she has been treated rather well till now, she admitted... Apart from this barbarian occasional excessive anger display that is, she corrected herself. She concluded that they really needed her and needed her alive. This thought gave her courage to answer him back and satisfy her ego.
"Amazingly enough, I don't give a shit !" she smiled. "As for my attitude well, let's consider it as a natural defense against stupidity" she added smirking. She was not going to let him go with a simple answer now... she believed in perfection !
At those word the gangster's anger rose, he applied more pressure on her neck. He wanted to kill her on the spot. And he would have probably done so...but he remembered how import she was for his revenge, he needed her alive...for now. Thinking that he pushed her away. He turned to leave but before leaving he spoke,
"Remember what I said in the shed, the day I find something on you...I'll make you a puppet in my hand" he threatened her and went away.
Sanyukta caught her breath, she was relived ...and scared at the same time. Relived cause now she was sure they will not kill her anytime soon, they needed her alive... And scared because there was actually one thing out there that can really make her a puppet in their hands. One thing that was more precious than anything else. Even than herself... needless to say if they ever got their hands on it, she would be at their mercy...She had to act fast. But first she needed to find her damn phone before it was too late.

"We're here see..." Parth pointed at the place in map. Collected in the same dark green room, there was a table full of papers and some extra clues being pressed onto the display board with pins. A light bulb above their heads was the only source of light there over the table.
"According to my sources, they are going to take next assignment which consist in a group of 10 children through this way... Leading via sea route. But I'm sure we're missing some connections". Vidhushi told everyone.
"Whatever it is, we need inside information. We can't risk or believe everybody in the links. They could be deceiving, our real concern is to know who is guiding, commanding and re-routing the whole thing" the boss spoke with frown lines on his forehead.
"The list we have gathered is not enough to build up our suspects we need affirmation to this, till now we have 2 names, either of them could be the big fish" Sahil described.
"These", Vidhushi pointed to the lists of people they knew were in the market for providing children as a commodity on demand, "are just the middlemen. We should fish out the bigger one. Smaller fish are replaced sooner or later."
"Before taking anymore actions we need to know them, enter their network of trust so we can break them from inside and take them down" Parth told him sternly.
"And I know exactly who will provide us the needed information to get us between them" the hooded guy smirked thinking about a certain loud and unnerving woman.
"But the big fish is not the source concern of the moment" said the boss.
"We have a different approach here" Parth told them, sipping his coffee from mug
"We will be attacking them from roots, weakening them miserably" said the boss sipping his last gulp and keeping the mug on table.
"Bottom up approach... hmmm..." Sahil smiled.
"Top down approach will be easier cause if the leader is killed they will have no one to give instruction " Vidushi interjected.
"But going for the big fish at the very beginning has it flaws, first of all be sure that if the big fish is dead, 10 behind him are ready to take his place, plus it will draw attention on us right away, whereas if we use the bottom up approach and starts by the bottom of the pyramid we can go unnoticed for a longer time" Randhir completed, Sahil and Vidhushi nodded.
"We need to eradicate the smaller units, they are affecting" Vidhushi spoke intently concerned.
"Done. We start with the small traffickers. Each one will be assigned to one part of Mumbai, East, West North and South"
"Vidushi you take East, Sahil West and Parth North, as for me I will stay here and take care of the South."
"We will leave tomorrow night, from that moment you will report to me every night on the phone, we shall meet again in 5 days" he concluded.
"Any question ?"
"What about Sanyukta" inquired Sahil.
"She will stay here and gather informations on the 2 big fishes we have, while we will take care of the small children traffickers... I will keep an eye on her" he answered.
"Speaking of which, What have you gathered on her?" He questioned them back.
"She is a spoiled brat that thinks she is above everyone else." Vidhushi spoke ruthlessly, only to be cut in between by Sahil
"No she is a nice girl" to which Vidhushi glared at him.
"Yeah just because you find her pretty and a girlfriend material does not mean that she is actually nice" retorted Vidushi.
"Just because because you are jealous of her does not mean that she is spoiled brat" argued Sahil.
"I am not jealous !" Shouted Vidushi.
"ENOUGH both of you" the hooded guy shouted seeing them bicker. Sensing their boss' growing anger Parth intervened,
"She is not a bad person but she just has a...hmmm a particular attitude. He lamely finished. "But she is really smart, she never answered our questions properly, always gave vague answers" he told him.
"No family, some friends, has a job, and occupations are diverse and varied " Vidhushi added to Parth's list.
"Smart enough haan! We shall see to it... " the boss smirked.
"Oh and she has a strong dislike for gangsters...don't know why...but she kind of went sadistic with words when I asked her if she would consider going out with me" said Sahil scratching the back of his head.
"Apparently she is looking for an educated and well established guy which will provide her a stable and secured life..." he finished rephrasing her description of her Mr.Right.
The hooded guy chuckled... No sane person could ever fall for a sarcastic drama queen like her. Like Vidushi said she was a high maintenance bitch...I pity the guy who'll have to put up with her for his whole life...He came out of his thoughts.
"Okay then we should start preparing for the task ahead. Good Luck!" with that said he dismissed his gang members.
Sahil, Vidhushi and Parth left, while the hooded guy got lost in his self thoughts.
"It's not even been 2 days and you have created a rift between my gang members. Impressive. But expecting any less from Falcon would our foolishness... I will make sure to use you perfectly."
"But right now I need to teach you some basics and manners you obviously lack." he decided.

Sahil and Vidhushi made their way to their rooms, Parth who understood that their boss was upset stayed back.
"Are you okay Randhir ?" he asked. He only used his real name while they were alone.
"Hmm..." the hooded guy nodded.
"Don't worry we will get them soon" Parth comforted his shoulder.
"It's been a year already" Randhir spoke up.
"But we do have two names" Parth assured.
"We're not even sure if the guy who killed our parents is one of those" Randhir spoke dejectedly.
Parth hugged him softly, assuring him. Randhir was comforted in his embrace.
He has been the strongest pillar in his life. A victim to the child trafficking, he himself lost his parents like Randhir's. They shared a bond beyond words, comforting each other in downs of their life.
