(Anna)
I woke up, feeling dizzy. How did I get in my bed? I pondered, rubbing my eyes. The closet door was opened and I had a feeling someone got me out.
Unless...
I immediately sat up, realizing that Nate got me out.
The door opened and I looked up at the man before me. First thing I noticed were his grey eyes, now heaving with the lack of sleep.
He smiled a bit, walking over. "You ok?" Nate asked, yawning. Sweet of him to take care of me but it was still weird and off, not to mention wrong because I don't fully know him.
"Yeah, I'm ok." I replied, returning his smile. "Hey, Nate?"
Nate then sat at the edge of my bed. "Yeah?"
"What day is it?"
"It's Wednesday, why?"
"I was wondering if I can go to school." I told him, sighing. "Sorry, kid, but you can't. I am still a bit upset that you took off without my permission, Anna."
"But sir-"
"Anna, look, I had a really stressful night last night and its best if you don't go." He looked away and so did I. None of us spoke as he got up to leave.

As soon as the front door had closed, I got out of bed. It was now 8:15 as I went downstairs, hungry for food.
A sticky note was taped to the fridge, saying that I have to do things around the house. Great..
~
About two hours later, I was tired from cleaning the house. Grabbing the remote I turned on the tv to see what was on. An episode for "The Owl Falls" was on, so I had a break to watch it. As soon as the show ended, he came.
The door opened and I stood up. "Hey," he said, smiling. The eyes were normal; a grey color that matched his dark hair. It kinda suited him, considering the fact that he wasn't mean or harsh to me. I smiled back, a bit calm.
"How are you?"
"I'm good, you?"
I replied back: "I'm good as well. Did some cleaning around the house for a bit."
"That's good, Anna. That's good."
He went over to the kitchen and made some food. I was getting hungry so I followed him and sat down.
~
After he sat down, I asked him about his job. "I told you, I work at PetSmart. Not much big of a deal since I had liked animals with my brother Michael."
He paused, lowering his eyes. I assumed he didn't like to talk about his past life. But my curiosity got the best of me, and I said "Do you have any more siblings?"
Nate looked up, annoyed and not saying a word. Did I say something wrong? I hope not.. I was regretting that question now that I thought about it. A low red hue made their way in his eyes and I panicked.
Still staring at me, he replied a bit harshly, "We don't talk about him in this house."
I began to argue back. "You never told me, let alone mention him!!" He stood up, a hard stare at me.
"That's enough, Anna. This conversation is over."
"But-"
"What did I just say, Anna?!" Nate snapped, banging his fist on the table. "Don't make me repeat it."
I couldn't find the words to argue. "Yes sir.. I'm sorry."
