Victor: So our Captain's been captured?
Tiga: I think so...
Victor: Alright.
Tossing the guitar case over his shoulder, Victor heads out.
Metana: We're just going?!
Victor: No time like the present.
Motz: You think you alone can fight off a group of Sulong-formed Mink's? You barely held off one.
Victor: We'll manage.
Metana: You're honestly going to let me join?
Victor: You can heal me, right? Better to have you close.
Metana couldn't help but crack a wide grin. This was the type of excitement she craved, and though the conditions weren't the best, she was going to take it.
Metana: Alright!
Shin: And me?
Victor: Yeah... You'll make good bait.
Shin:(deadpan) I'm staying here.
Victor: Tiga?
Tiga:...
Tiga: If Tiga goes out... She'll lose control...
Motz: Leave the beauty be. And go get yourself killed for this dumbass captain of yours.
Victor: Watch your tongue!
He turns away and stares out into the wild.
Victor: Our Captain would fight day and night for our freedom. He'd leave us in comfort and take on an army...
Victor: Just because we called him Captain... It's only fair we try and do the same.
He leaves his words causing Metana to take this more seriously and follow. And after a moment, Shin couldn't help but follow.
Motz:(rolls eyes)
Motz: I would have thought you'd try and stop them, old man.
Helmeppo: I couldn't bring myself to do so... There are some fires you should not stop.
Tiga: Hmph!
Helmeppo: And a few you must.
Tripping Tiga, he causes her to trip, fall, and roll across the floor. Stepping onto her, Helmeppo prevents Tiga from entering the moonlight.
Tiga: I gotta help!
Helmeppo: You said it yourself. You'll lose control.
Tiga:!
Tiga: Grrrr!
Motz: Go easy on her, old man. She's about to cry.
Helmeppo: Then why don't you go save her captain for her?
Motz:....(heavy sigh)
Motz: Stay pretty, kitty. I'll be back before you know it.
Leaping out of the cave, ice covers Motz's feet allowing him to skate across the forest toward the Moon Chaser base. Tiga meanwhile stared out, longing to go fight for her captain but knowing she'd only harm him once more.
Tiga: RaaaaaAAAAAHHHH!!
(Opening Theme)
Shin and Metana followed Victor across the island to the Moon Chaser's Alfa's home, the ancient ruined temple. The large moon floated high above and illuminated the structure.
Shin: There's gotta be a way to sneak into the thing.
Victor: No point. They know we're here. In fact, we're surrounded.
Shin: WHAT!?!
Metana:(mutters) This is getting exciting!
Victor: You two will sneak in during the chaos.
Metana: And you?
Victor:(loads gun) It's now hunting season...
Victor: Get ready.
Victor: "Aquarius..."
Shin: Let's go!
Metana and Shin make a break for the temple causing several Minks to pounce toward them.
Victor: "Major Caliber"!!
Holding his gun upside down, then twisting his arm as he fired, Victor launched an enormous almost tornado-like gust of wind that sucked in and tossed the Minks away whilst creating a cloud of dust.
Making himself a target, Victor found many Moon Chasers trying to take a bite of him with electrically charged teeth.
(BANG)
Dodging the majority of their attacks, Victor was still left covered in scratches that grazed him.
Victor:(mind) Dodging isn't going to buy enough time. I need to take them down as fast as possible.
Victor:(mind) Line 'em up. And hit them with everything.
Doing his best to get them lined up, Victor switches the dial on his gun.
Victor: "Leo Major Caliber"!!
(BAAAANG)
Firing a massive and powerful ball of fire that roared like a lion, Victor managed to put down multiple Mink and burn the others, at the cost of his pistol needing to cool down.
Victor: Hmph.
He attempted to turn to the temple and take the fight inside, only to find a new pack of them charging towards him.
Victor:(mind) Sneaky bastards!
He swings out his guitar case, to try and get out his Guitar rifle, but there is no hope that he will be able to pull it out in time.
Victor was up against a higher caliber of enemies with more rounds than he could match.
Victor: Tch!
Motz: "Chillbains Sonata; 1st Movement"!
Scating in front of Victor, Motz unleashes a flurry of kicks which knocked back the pack of Moon Chasers.
Motz: So many Mink ladies and none of them compare to that Tiga...
Victor: You...
Motz: Huh? Oh, don't get used to me saving you.
Victor:(pulls out rifle) Don't worry about that.
Back to back, the duo prepares to hold the line and take on the whole of the Moon Chaser tribe.
Motz:(mumbles) What one does for sexy tiger ladies... Damn genetics...
Inside the temple, Metana and Shin search for Davy.
Shin: It's going to take forever for us to find him.
Metana: Hmm... Maybe not... Let me try something.
She places a hand on the floor and focuses.
Shin: You can admire the floor later... Because we should go.
Black sparks pop out of Metana's hand as she gains a sense of where Davy is.
Metana: Whoa...(shakes off feeling) Let's go. Follow me.
Taking charge, Metana leads Shin to the throne room, where they find a beaten-up Davy struggling with all his might to crawl out of the room.
Davy: Huh? Shin? Metana? What are you doing here?
Metana: We're here to rescue you.
Davy: Tch! You two need to get out of here!
(SLAM)
The doors to the throne room shut behind Shin and Metana.
Shin: That was just wind. Y-Yep! Just the wind.
Metana:(looks back)
Alfa:(wicked grin)
Metana:(looks straight) Shin...
Shin: Don't tell me... Please, just...
Alfa lifts her arms up, ready to attack the two.
Alfa: You come on Alfa's turf, you better be ready to face the consequences!
Davy: No you don't!
(WOOSH)
Invigorate by the desire to protect his crewmates, Davy spins his limbs to quickly close the distance and push Shin and Metana aside taking the hit himself.
Davy: Urk!?!
(CRASH)
Alfa: Oh-oh-haa-haa!!
Davy:(in pain) Laugh it up big foot!
He pushes himself off the ground and stands up with his teeth gritted.
Davy: I just got my second wind, and Imma use it to blow you away!
Alfa:(grins) Alfa will break you.
Davy: GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT!!
On the other side of the island, Tiga was able to hear Davy's warcry along with the ferocious battle going on. Her Sulong powers have not fully faded she could hear a lot, or perhaps this was Haki, Tiga herself just knew she could hear it all.
Tiga:... Tch!
She tries to leave but is stopped by Helmeppo.
Helmeppo: There's no point in going if you can't control yourself.
Tiga: How does Tiga do that?!
Helmeppo:(shakes head)
Helmeppo: Ask yourself... Why. Why can't you control yourself?
Helmeppo: What is it that you feel when you transform?
Tiga: Tiga doesn't know... Angry?
Helmeppo: At who?
Tiga: Urg... Mama?
Helmeppo: Why?
Tiga: Tch! Because when Tiga was scared to go into the cage and train this stupid Sulong form she just ignored Tiga and shoved her in!
Tiga: Now Tiga is so scared of being trapped she loses her true self!
Tiga: I want to fight her!
Tiga: But most of all... Tiga wants to be there for her Captain!
Tiga: To help carry the weight of a lost friend, and to tell him...
(Flashback)
Davy: As long as you call me Captain! Your dreams are my dreams! Your enemies are my enemies!
Davy: And all which you hold precious, I'll fight to protect!!
(Flashback end)
Tiga: That Tiga wishes to fight beside him!
She feels a hand land on her shoulder. It was Helmeppo's, and as she looked towards him, the wise master told her what she needed to hear.
Helmeppo: That feeling for your Captain. Hold onto that with all your might.
Helmeppo: And you'll have the power of a true master.
Tiga:!
Tiga: Hmph!
With sorrow and fear washed away, Tiga walks out of the cave, throwing aside her blanket as she glares at the moon.
(BANG)
(BAM)
Victor and Motz fought with all their might, but it was far from enough to put a dent into the Sulong-formed Moon Chasers.
Their numbers and level of strength made it difficult to keep up with them.
Torah: What resistant roaches...
Torah: I'll definitely have to push these cubs more after this.
Victor: Hey look. Another Tiger Mink. Are you going to fall for her too?
Motz: Too buff. If I wanted muscular, I'd go for a guy. Just not my fetish.
(WOOSH)
Leaping up to the two, Torah knocks them across the field.
Motz/Victor: HUGHH!?!
Now in a bad position, the two were quickly surrounded.
(ROOOAAAAR)
(KRACKAKOOOOOM)
Landing within a bolt of Lightning was Tiga in her Sulong form.
Tiga: Grrrrrr-RAAH!
Tiga: BRING ME, MY CAPTAIN!!
Lightning sparked wildly off of her body.
Torah: Huh? When did you learn to control yourself enough to speak?
Tiga: If you stand in my way... Tiga-(SHAKES HEAD)
Tiga: I WILL SHOW YOU NO MERCY!
Torah: Little Kitten... Learn who's top cat!
Charging towards her sister, Torah threw a powerful punch, which Tiga dodged. She then proceeded to grab Torah's arm and throw her over her shoulder.
Tiga: I am the inventor of Electro Kung Fu! Your wild fighting is no match for me!!
(Thunder Master Tiga Theme)
Following her thrown sister, Tiga unleashes a flurry of blows to continue propelling her.
Tiga: NYAH!
Kicking her face so she flipped over, Tiga axe kicked her sister into the ground.
Knowing she was a threat, the Moon Chasers surrounded and attacked her. Tiga with only a hint of wildness in her, deflected and attacked the Moon Chasers with expert martial arts skills.
Kicking an ox Mink in thr side of the knee, she proceeded to smack him away with the back side of her fist.
She then spun around and struck her elbow across a cheetah Mink's face, before continuing her spin and catching their face with her other hand.
After a full 360, she threw the cheetah, and then roundhouse kicked away another enemy.
Tiga: "Thunder Master; Tiger Nunchucks"!!!
Making a pair of nunchucks out of lightning, Tiga created thunderous shockwaves to blow away her surrounding enemies.
Tiga: NNNNYYYAHH!
Growing her lightning weapons to the point they were ten times her size, Tiga scooped up all the Mink and threw them toward the building with the lightning chucks that exploded in a dazzling storm of lightning bolts.
Meanwhile, inside, Davy and Alfa fought, paying no attention to the ruckus outside.
Davy: Hugh!?
Getting pushed back, Davy quickly ducked under Alfa's incoming low kick by cartwheeling.
Using the momentum from the cartwheel, Davy spun his body 360° to throw a punch.
Davy: "Ro-Ro; Boxer"!!
Alfa blocked the attack with ease and zapped Davy with her electrically charged fur.
Davy: Gh-gh-gh!?
Alfa: Bah-bah-bah!
Kicking him away, Davy was caught by Metana who helped soften his crash.
Metana: Agh!
Davy:!
Davy: Metana, Shin. Get out of here! I'll handle this.
Shin: Have you looked in a mirror- Well, I guess not... I doubt there are any...
Shin: What I'm trying to say is you look like crap!
Metana: Not to mention all your injuries!
Davy:... Doesn't that imply that I don't look like crap BECAUSEÂ of my injuries!?!
Davy: Ugh! Just go- Agh!?
Getting up, he could feel a stinging pain he could not ignore.
Davy: Bruises bluer than the sea...ugh!
(CRASH)
Everyone: Hm?
Tiga: RAAAAH!!
Tiga entered through the hole she made followed by Victor and Motz.
Alfa: Oh? Well if it isn't my little cub!
Tiga: I'm here for my Captain! Give him back!
Alfa:(smirks) You have control?
Davy: Tiga, Victor... Take these two and leave! I'll-
Tiga: No!
Tiga: Davy, I wanted to tell you something before I went wild...
Davy: Huh?
Tiga: I wanted to tell you...
Tiga: THAT I WANT TO FIGHT BESIDE YOU!
Tiga: And that you shouldn't blame yourself for Azriel's death... Because I should have done more to help!
Victor: No... I should have done more...
Shin: Maybe there was a way I could have helped...
Metana hugs Davy from behind and begins healing him with her special ability.
Metana: Maybe we all could have done something...
Victor: The fact of the matter is... We want to fight beside you!
Tiga: We want to get stronger together!
Shin: We're grateful for how you want to protect us... But...
Shin/Tiga/Victor: We want to protect you too!!
Davy:!?
Davy:....
Metana: You don't have to do it alone.
Davy: Metana... Shin... Victor... Random guy in suit... Tiga...
Davy: And I can feel how Ruby, Wick, and Jade feel...
With his injuries healing, Davy's strength was returning. Gently pushing Metana away, he approached Alfa with Tiga, Victor, and Motz.
Davy: If you all desire to fight with me... Who am I to stop you!?
Davy: Let this monkey see and hear our power, and say her prayers!
