Years ago, Ruby was a frequent patron of the All Town. Through her studies of charts and weather, the Mermaid was eager to see the world. To go on many adventures with a married crew.
One day, she found the Crewmate auction in the All Town. Seeing this as a chance to see the world, she joined.
Auctioneer: Going once! Twice! Sold! For 500,000 berries!

Bojack:(smiles)

Winning her, was a crew who would be later called the Bounty Pirates.
At first, everything was going quite well. Ruby was excited and the crew, if a little rambunctious, was quite kind.
But it didn't take long for Ruby to learn of the crew's goal.
One day, the Bounty Pirates arrived on a small island with a tiny village of ex-pirates trying to retire. Bojack and his crew slaughtered every pirate with a bounty. This horrified Ruby, making her want out.
And instead of running, she tried to tell Bojack she would be leaving. Shoved into a cage, Ruby was forced to continue to be the navigator.
(SLAM)
Ruby:!!
Ruby: Let me out!
Bojack: You see, I can't do that.
Bojack: Whether you realize it or not, you're too valuable to let go.
Bojack: Both because of your navigation skills, and what you are.
Ruby: Please! Let me out...
Bojack: Sure... As soon as you drop these stupid ideas of leaving.
For several years, Ruby was trapped on their ship. However, they did give her a room and would let her see the top deck with a collar.
This continued until Azriel snuck on board one night after she abandoned the Marines.
Ruby was on deck, with a chain collar, and Azriel descended like an Angel.
Ruby:!!
Azriel:?
Ruby:(whispers) Help-
With no question, Azriel cut off Ruby's collar. Once she did, Ruby tried to leap off the ship but found her time there had made her reluctant.
Azriel:...
Taking what she needed from the Bounty Pirates and seeing Ruby still unable to escape, Azriel carried her to the nearest island where they ended up sticking together.

Davy: Tch...
Tiga: Poor Ruby...
Shin: She never said anything...
Azriel: It's not exactly a nice topic to just mention. Not even I know all the details of how she was treated.
Davy: Hopefully she can bear being with those guys for just a little bit...
Jade: Perhaps now is the right time to ask... But how exactly do you plan on getting what these Bounty Pirates want?
The Wicked Wench, flying high in the air, gave the crew a view of the Marine base. The high rocky wall on all sides with a clearing in the center where they saw the base itself.

Jade: I don't doubt your power... However, you don't know who's there...
Jade: These bases are frequently used as rest spots by vice admirals and other high-ranking officers.
Azriel: And we don't even know the exact location of the safe with the Marine routes.
Jade: Don't forget about all the Berries they want.
Victor: If we go gun blazing, they can call for help, and give us little time to take everything we need.
Davy: We can't just sneak it, can we?
Victor: Of course we can.
Tiga: Oh? How?
Victor: I've done it time and time again. As long as we get our hands on some uniforms, we'll be able to look around, relatively freely.
Shin: Then what are we waiting for? Let's sneak in and rob them blind!

Victor and Davy J. ran over to the anchor which they used to slowly lower themselves onto the Island as Azriel floated down.

Jade:(smokes pipe)...
Jade:(blows smoke)
Jade: Are you just going to stand there and feel useless little munchkin?
Shin: Grrrrr...! I am useless right now!
Jade:(smokes pipe)...

Jade: I thought you were supposed to be smart with all that tinkering you do.
Jade: Why don't you tinker up something useful?
Shin: Hmph! Maybe I will...
Jade: Maybe you should get started.

He storms off below deck.
Jade:(blows smoke)
Having stolen marine uniforms from the storage room, Victor brought them to Davy and Azriel. Together they changed, Azriel doing so behind a bush.
Victor: Why are you changing behind a bush?
Azriel: I know how "curious" you two can get.
Davy: Tiga's a Mink. We were genuinely curious about how animal-like she looked.
Victor: Yeah. We don't give a crap about your body.
Azriel:.....
Azriel:(angry sigh)
Azriel: Shut up.
Tucking in her wings around her body, Azriel gave herself a more bulky and manly figure. And together with the boys, they snuck into the base.
Victor: I'll check the even number of floors. You two can look around the odd-numbered floor.
Victor: And remember... Make no eye contact, and just keep moving when you walk past someone.
Davy: Thanks for the advice.
Victor heads to the second floor, as Azriel wants to head up to the third floor immediately.
Davy: Where are you going?
Azriel: Simple logic on how these buildings are made, and where safes are put...
Azriel: It's not going to be on the first floor.
Davy: And what if it?
Azriel: Have fun searching.
Ditching Davy, Azriel heads to the third floor.
Davy:(mind) She's pissed off... And I don't think it's because she learned she isn't that sexy...
Davy:(mind) Can't blame her... I'm pissed off about the situation as well.
He begins looking around the first floor, where the cafeteria, security office, and other non-essential rooms are. Beginning in th security office, after the guards went on patrol, Davy continued to look around.
Davy:(mind) Crap, she's right... Nothing here.
Just to be sure, he checked the cafeteria where he found a tall old man with a bandana eating alone.
Davy:(mind) This was stupid... Why would it be in the cafeteria?
Marine: Looking for a midnight snack as well?
Davy: Something like that...
Davy:!?!
Davy:(mind) That voice... No, you've got to be kidding me.
Marine: Hm?
Marine: You sound familiar, son... Have we met?
Davy:(deep voice) I highly doubt it...
Marine: Those pink locks under that hat...
Davy:(deep voice) Lost a bet, had to dye them.
Davy:(deep voice) Now if you'd excuse me, sir...
Rushing out of the room, Davy could hear the Marine follow. Speed walking to an open window, Davy J. dives out of the building.
Davy:(mumbles) I gotta get lost before I blow the whole thing for the-
Marine: Are you okay, you seemed to have "slipped" out a window.
The man was leaning against a wall, somehow having gotten ahead of Davy who tried to walk past.
Davy:....
Marine: Take that damn hat off, boy. Before I take it off for you.
Davy:....
He clenches his fist.
Davy: You better mind your own business old man... Or there's going to be trouble.
Marine: Tsk.

Spinning around, Davy leaped back. Narrowly avoiding a punch, his hat was knocked off.
Rotating his waste, Davy tried kicking the Marine with Haki.
Davy: "Ro-Ro; Batter"!!

But the Marine blocked the hit.
Davy J. landed on his feet and stared up at the older man.
Marine: You've gotten stronger, kid.

Davy: And you've gotten old, Grandpa.
Koby:(chuckles) That I have, my rebellious little Grandson....
Koby:(Glares) And you've got yourself in a LOT of trouble.
Davy: Are you referring to my bounty or coming here?
Koby: BOTH YOU STUPID TWIRP!!!!
