Harvey looked at the pitifully empty dressing room and frowned. “Maddie should move to the third floor, Mom.”

They initially had Madison stay on the second floor so that she and Rebecca could see each other often and get to know each other better. But they had overlooked the fact that Rebecca had already occupied most of the rooms on the second floor. Thus, Madison ended up in this makeshift room.

Harvey didn’t think much about it earlier. But after seeing Madison’s room, it started to bother him. Her room didn’t even measure up to Rebecca’s dressing room.

After everything was ready, Josephine remarked with some dissatisfaction, “This is acceptable, but I’m not happy with the bed and dressing table. In truth, Madison didn’t really care about where stayed. For more than 30 years, she had lived in a rental room that could barely fit a single bed and had even stayed in a leaky antic.
