Chapter 23

what i saw just took my breath away. the ball room was amazing. there was about 15 tables that were covered in white table cloths and the chairs had white cloths with red sashes tied in a bow around the backs. the walls had white and red drapes, not in a tacky way but in a very elegant way. there was a large dancing area that was filled with couples dancing to this slow song that was playing.

and there stood at the bottom of the stairs wearing a long floaty midnight blue dress was my mum.
