He was staring at me , he was not stealing glances. It was like he was using his beautiful black eyes, to look at the inner most depths of my heart. Okay maybe I am exaggerating just a little, but I really like him. To be honest I truly admire his; spirt, ambition about football, sense of humor and his ability to hold a conversation. I just so happen to like the package it comes in.
He started to walk up to me, but he never took his eyes away from mine. I quickly turned my head to look at that girl again, but she was gone. So, I just pushed her to the back of my head. I don't know why, but I popped my hip out, and placed my hand on my hip, and flipped my hair. Don't ask me why it just felt right. I swear he walked faster.
He raised my hand and placed a gentle kiss on it and he whispered. ''There's only one person that can make me feel like I can fly. That's you." He declared. Those were Will Smith's lines. He got it from, the movie we watched yesterday at the movies called The Genre.
I remember laying on his chest and telling him, I would die if anyone were ever to say these words to me . ''Why, is she a drug dealer or something?' He questioned him with enthusiasm.
I guess Tolan must have forgotten that Bowie was standing next ,to him because he took in a sharp breath. I stood on my tippy toes and kissed Tolan on the cheek
''Since when are you two, lovey-dovey.'' He asked looking perplexed .Tolan looked at me and I gave him a nod. He put his arm around me and I leaned on his chest '' I don't have to explain to you....can't a guy make his girlfriend feel special.''
''Girlfriend....since when? Congrates bro .''Bowie quickly leaned, over and whispered loud enough for Tolan to hear ''Are you trying to rebel against your mother. You know you could do so much better than that. Believe me Bree, look over there for example.' I pulled a face because of the thing he was oddly pointing at.
"Thats a trashcan."Â I told him.
"That's my point Bree." Tolan playfully shoved him away from me.
''As sweet as this meeting was. We all need to get to class.'' I interrupted.'' Come on, since when do you follow the rules. Wait a sec, you never even greeted me. How dare you girl you? You are in the presence of a king.'' He jested. I truly value Bowie, he makes me smile when I feel down.
I let go of Tolan and I jump into Bowie's arms. I gave him a tight squeeze, then he said '' I swear you are a man in a females' body.'' I let go of him and punch him in the shoulder. For his little comment.
''Wait before we go did you guys bring all three text books?'' I questioned. ''No, we both brought a different version. We were hoping you would bring yours along." They both told me which versions they took. I pulled out, the missing one. Tolan gently takes it, and we walk to class.
As were walking hand in, he dropped my hand out of nowhere. I tuned to look at him. "Did you tell your friend about us?"
I chuckled and grabbed his hand "yeah, she knows."
He raised my hand and kissed it "Sorry. Did I scare you?"
"Yeah." I giggled. He span me around. We both laughed and strolled down the hall.

''Analia can we quickly talk. You need to be briefed, for what's about to come.'' I preened. She shot me a confused look, but nodded in agreement.
As soon as the bell rang, we stood off to the side.
"Let's seat in the empty classroom to fix ourselves up." IÂ advised her.
"Why?" Lia questioned me, while packing up her books. "Because the toilet, will be filled with girls."Â I explained
Lia nodded her head " Makes sense."
I took a sharp breath and let out ''I told the boys, we would be sitting with them during lunch.''
''She looked me dead in the eyes, and answered me with discontentment. "Girl, do not make decisions for me." She placed a piece of hair, behind her ear. "Who are they anyways? Tolan's friends?"
'' I can't promise not to make decisions on your behalf, but let me assure you I will try.'' I tried to reassure her. And yes, to answer your last question."
She just looked, at me and said "I am sorry. It's just what if I don't click with his friends?" She scratched her cheek.
" I YOU Tolan. He is cool, what about the others.....'' She paused for a second, and gave me a dry look. "I guess that's why you, wanted to come here to get all dolled up."
''You know me so well. They let me sit with them when you were, busy working with your coach.'' I touched my heart .''Trust me ,you will like them they are so funny and I feel you guys personalities will click well.'' IÂ took Lia's hand as I spoke.
''You know I do not do well in crowds, and they sit at the center table, where the whole cafeteria can see me. Just so you know if I don't click with them today. I will never sit there again Bree. I Â nodded my head and said "Trust me, I felt the same, but you do get used to it. Again, trust me that sounds more than fair to me." I could see the lack of excitement in her eyes. But I was happy she tries new things for me.
We packed up our suff. I started to walk towards the cafeteria.
''So why did coach want to see you Lia.'' I saw her whole body go stiff. ''Oh about the competition thing. Trust me, just boring stuff."
I turned to look at her, she had this fake smile on her face "Lia ...is something bothering you?" It was of course a rhetorical question. I knew something was off.
''Yeah ..um ...it's just." She paused for a second, and started to play with the thread on her sweater and then added. "I would like you to forgive me for how I acted this morning. You had to do what was best for you. Just like if I were to be presented with a situation, I would have to do the same. I know it came from a place of love." She ended.
She didn't have that fake smile anymore, she avoided making eye contact. ''Is that all?" I asked her. Again of course it was a rhetorical question. She nodded her head. To be honest I didn't believe her, but I let it go.
Now looking back at it I wish I didn't, if only I would have pressed further, if only I would have pushed, but you know what they say, 'In the end we only regret the chances we never take.'
