''I thought, I wouldn't be capable of doing something like this. ''I saw glint of excitement, in her eyes. Than suddenly she bowed her head and murmured ''Do you think, they made a mistake. I mean do you truly believe. I truly deserve this. There were so many other swimmers there, who deserve it more. You know what I should tell coach that I will drop out.'' I listen to her ramble and than she started pacing.
I interrupted her by taking her hand, and looked her dead in her eyes and said, ''You are not telling coach nothing you worked hard for this you won state nationals, and now you are going to internationals. You are right, there were other swimmers, but you beat them. So remember that was no mistake you won fair and square.''
She looked at me and responded with ''thank sometimes , you just forget and think you under deserving. I want to say thank you. I want to take you out for shopping or lunch. With the prize money I won'' I smiled at her gesture.
''Not just for the speech Bree, but for working out with me during  the afternoons. Every Monday and Thursday for the pass four months. I know that must, have not been easy." She acknowledged.
''To be honest it was not.....but it was the only time. That I got to spend time with you Analia.'' I Imparted
A mega grin spread across my face, ''is this the moment we hug ?'' I questioned joyfully. She let go of my hand and walked back to her chair. Her face deadpanned, and she stated ''The moment is gone.''
Analia and I walked to first period. Which was P.E. We are currently sitting, in an empty class and catching up, even though we worked out together. I remember the times we would do warm-ups and then some cardio. She would go to the pool and work on her swimming, and I would stay working on cardio or other activities. Than after a couple of hours we would leave, either she would want to workout more, or I would.
''Well hey. I tried..... I have something to tell you.' I took in a sharp breath . ''What?" She Interrogated. ''Do you remember Tolan, the guy I was talking to?''
''Yes?'' Looks at me with a pointed eyebrow.
A grin spread on my face 'He asked me to be his girlfriend.'
''When!?''Â She popped up like popcorn from her seat.
I started playing, with my thumbs as I looked down. As Lia gave a jagged look. "A month ago, today is our one-month anniversary. Before you say something, nobody else knows. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to distract you.''
''Not going to lie, this really hurts my feelings, that you would wait this long, to tell me about your new boyfriend. Do you honestly belief that your newfound happiness would distract me?" She fumed. ''You think I can't walk, and chew gum?''
Lia stopped mid-sentence, as if she were caught red-handed stealing. Then pulled out her phone. She looked at the screen and scrunched her face.
RINGÂ RING
"Hello?" Her face dropped from being annoyed to being confused.
'' OKAY ....um I have to talk to coach, he wanted to see me. See you in English then, you going to tell me how he asked you out. ''She said with a forced smile. Before I could say anything else, she charged out the door.
"Well, bye."Â I yelled behind her.
My phone vibrates. I check my phone and it is :Tolan
Are you going to class or you bunking physics :Tolan
No, I am going to class. Why you miss me already: Bree
Well yeah, so can I walk you to class? :Tolan
Sure meet me by my locker: Bree

Choices choices
As I am busy making, an indispensable life transforming decision, that could alter my back. I hear the hallway fall silent; footsteps stopped 'Pitter-pattering' and I feel all eyes on me for some reason.
The murmurs started to erupt. I looked down the hallway there he stood, in all his glory. He was staring at me with a sexy smirk on this face. I swear it was as if every sin was trapped, in his gaze. Then from the corner of my eye I saw a girl with clenched teeth, cheeks blushed and balled up fists.
