"WHY HAVEN'T I MET MY NEPHEW YET?" Theo shouts at me from over the phone.

"Chill," I reply, unlocking the apartment door with my key and grabbing the bags of groceries I bought.

"How DARE YOU tell ME to chill. I haven't met your SON yet and you're telling me to chill?" He says, his voice icy.

"You can come over and meet Ian tonight, if it's so important to you," I mutter, dropping the groceries onto the counter.

"Really?" Gone was the iciness, replaced with hope.

"Of course. I can't have you wait any longer to meet your nephew, that'd be a sin," I replied, sarcasm dripping from my tone.

"You're the best, Stila Banks!" He cried out and then hung up on me.

Shaking my head at his silly antics, I put away the groceries.

"Mother fucker," I muttered, looking at the time and grabbing my keys.

I'm supposed to pick Ian up in five minutes.

I rushed out of the apartment building and hailed a taxi, calling the school at the same time and telling them I'll be ten minutes late.

I finally arrived and told the Taxi driver to wait while I grab Ian.

Walking into the school, I quickly turn my head around and let out a big breath when I see him.

"Oh, god Ian. I'm so sorry," I say, wiping a fallen tear.

"Mommy, it's okay," he says, wrapping his small arms around me.

Did he just call me mommy?

"What was that you called me, honey?" I asked him, pulling back and holding his tiny face in my hands.

"I called you mommy. If you don't want me to, I can still call you Ms.S-" He started, twisting his fingers in nervousness.

"No, mommy is fine, buddy," I interrupted, letting a huge smile take over my face.

"Really?" He asks, his brown eyes growing big.

"Really, really," I answer, kissing his forehead and picking him up, although it was difficult with the pregnant belly and all.

I walk out with him still on my hip to the awaiting taxi.

"The fares still running, lady," the cab driver grouchily said.

"Okay," I answer, not wanting to argue with Ian in the car.

After making sure Ian was properly buckled, I gave the go ahead to the driver and we were on our way.

"Know who's coming over tonight, buddy?" I ask him, interrupting him silently viewing the busy streets.

"Who?" He asks, jumping up and down in his seat excitedly.

"Your uncle!"

"I don't have an uncle, though," he says, confusion aligning his face.

"I have 4 brothers, honey," I say, reaching out and running my fingers through his hair.

"They're my uncles?" He obliviously asks.

"They are!"

With that news, he couldn't stay still throughout the rest of the car ride, jumping up and down, not even trying to conceal his excitement.

"Okay, buddy. We're here. Grab my hand," I tell him, taking his backpack when the Taxi driver drops us off in front of our apartment building.

As we're walking to the building, my purse vibrates. Grumbling under my breath, I use my free hand to try and get my phone out.

Successfully doing so, I see the caller ID. Rolling my eyes, I answer.

"Mr.Tele?" I say, answering the call.

"STILA BANKS! YOU FINALLY ANSWER ME! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?" He shouts, so much that I have to take the phone away from my ear.

"I already told you my situation," I reply, my voice monotone.

I continue walking to the entrance of the building, with Ian holding onto my hand and looking at all of the people walking by.

"Your situation shouldn't cause you to miss 2 weeks out work, should it?" He asks, pronouncing situation in a sarcastic tone.

"Maybe I should just quit, then. Would that be easier for you," I snap, losing my cool in front of Ian.

He looks up at me, shock clear in his eyes.

"I've gotta go," I say, hanging up on Tele-Stink-breath and bending down so that I was level with Ian.

"Everythings fine, buddy. My boss is just a major pain in the butt, okay?' I tell him, smoothing his hair.

"Okay, mommy," he says.

With that, a smile is back on my face.

"Did you get all your homework done, Ian?" I ask him, giving him a pointed stare while he sat and played a game in which he was Strawberry Shortcake and he had to collect small pastries.

"Yes, mommy," he replied, his concentration strong.

Smiling and shaking my head, I go back to preparing dinner.

It's now 5:30, and both Clyde and Theo are to be expected here at 6.

"When is daddy coming home?" Ian asked, finally looking up from his game.

"Pretty soon, buddy. Wanna help me make dinner?" I replied, looking over the counter to see his small head staring up at me.

"YEAH!" He happily shouted.

We spent the remaining time kneading the dough. Since Ian was having so much fun with it, I just couldn't stop him.

"Where are my two monkeys?" I heard Clyde shout, right before the sound of the door closing commenced.

"DADDY!" Ian yelled, stepping off the stool with doughy hands and running out of the kitchen.

Clyde walked into the room with Ian on his shoulder.

"Daddy?" He mouthed to me, looking surprised.

"I know," I mouthed back, smiling and making a pizza shape with the dough.

"What are we gonna have on this pizza? Gummy worms?" I asked Ian, who was still propped up on Clyde's shoulder.

"Noo, that'd be silly! Pepperoni!" He said, his tone serious.

"That sounds better," Clyde says, laughing and taking Ian back into the living room.

Giggling, I place pepperoni onto the pizza and pop it in the oven.

"Lyle residents? A Theo Brooks is here," our intercom said, coming from the apartment lobby.

"Send him on up!" I said, pushing the little black button.

2 minutes passed, and then there was a knock on my door.

"GORGEOUS STILA, YOU BETTER LET ME IN SO I CAN FEEL YA," Theo yelled, knocking quite loudly.

"Theo," I laughed, opening the door and taking in my best friends wonderful appearance.

"Girl, you look smokin'," he shouted. Leaning down, he whispered, "Has he been paying special attention to your girly regions?"

Smacking him in the head, I giggle and nod.

"What's that you have in your hands?" I ask him, taking notice of the remarkably wrapped present he held in his grip.

"A gift for my nephew," he smiled back, showing his dazzling teeth.

"Then I guess you should probably meet him," I respond, wrapping my arm around his waist and pulling us toward the living room.

We arrived in the doorway, and immediately Ian stopped playing to hide behind Clyde.

"Ian, buddy, it's okay," Clyde whispered, giving his back towards us to rub Ian's.

"Ian, remember I told you that you were going to meet one of your uncles today?" I ask him, kneeling down to his height, all the while staying by Theo.

"So he's safe?" Ian asks, his sweet voice small.

"He's very safe, buddy," Clyde replies.

Ian moves out of Clyde's shadow and slowly walks up to me, keeping his eyes downwards until he's face to face with me.

Giving him a small nod of encouragement, he looks up at Theo, who has a huge, caring smile on his face.

"Well hello there, Mr. Ian. I'm uncle Theo and I just looove giving my nephews cool, huge presents," Theo announces, bending down and holding out the wrapped offering.

"Thank you," Ian giggles, taking the present and unwrapping it, all while looking merry.

"What is it?" I ask him, sitting back and enjoying Theo and Ian's fun.

"Remote controlled cars!" Ian shouted, taking them out proudly before ripping the packaging off.

All too soon, we were sitting around the dinner table together, laughing at Ian's childness and enjoying the best pepperoni pizza one could hope to achieve.

CHAPTER 31 DONE!

This chapter made me cry a little bit at the beginning, but not that much >.<

We're reaching the end! Should I make a sequel of their life after they have the baby? Or just keep it as their journey to having a baby?

So this book was originally supposed to be finished yesterday... I got the notification on my phone. I will finish it before April 10th! I would say before April but I have the SATS in 7 days and I haven't studied the math part AT ALL.

Gosh, I'm such a rambler.

XOXO, Cooler_Than_You_101
