"I want to go home..." Taehyung repeated himself and Yoongi coughed as he tried his best not to let his true feelings show.
"Is that so... I understand. I'll ask Hyun to prepare-" Yoongi's words came to a halt as he felt a strong pair of arms grabbing him from behind in a tight embrace.
"Let's go home, your highness," Taehyung whispered in his ear and Yoongi was left speechless.
They stayed like that for a minute as the shock slowly sunk in and by the time that it did, Yoongi heard Taehyung chuckling next to his ear. His voice deep and low sending a warm feeling down Yoongi's body.
"What do you mean...?" Yoongi was still unsure if he was hearing this right.
Taehyung took a hold of his shoulders and spun him around as he pouted and asked, "Do you also think I'm a naive kid?"
Yoongi was silent as he looked back at Taehyung who looked as serious as he could.
"I'm also a grown man. I know everything..." Taehyung added with a proud smirk on his face.
Yoongi had the urge to question the meaning behind his words but before he could voice that question out loud, he felt Taehyung lift up the veil on his face and close off the distance between their faces.
Yoongi's eyes went wide as he saw this bold action and felt a soft and warm feeling on his lips.
Taehyung had his eyes open for a second to see if Yoongi would push him away but when he saw no such reaction, he grew even bolder and closed his eyes as he deepened the kiss.
They were still outside and although it didn't look like there was anyone around, Yoongi still knew that the walls had both ears and eyes. He was supposed to push him away. Even if he enjoyed it and didn't want to push Taehyung away, he still needed to do it. It was his duty as the crown prince to not give birth to a royal scandal. So why...?
Why did his body suddenly feel so light and why wasn't it listening to him anymore? Why was he feeling like this? When he reached his hand up to push Taehyung away, why did his hands wrap around the other's head instead of pushing him away?
Yoongi felt a feeling he never thought he would be able to feel again and definitely not in such a situation; He felt helpless and weak.
Maybe Taehyung himself was unaware of this but somehow he had managed to reach and poke Yoongi's heart, making him the only weakness of this crown prince. When Yoongi realized this, he was afraid. Being a weakness to the crown prince was a position that came with a lot of hardships and Yoongi wasn't sure if Taehyung would be able to survive what was to come.
A lonely tear trailed down Yoongi's right eye as he slowly let his eyelids flutter shut. Even his lips didn't listen to him as they followed Taehyung's lead. His lips gently covered and sucked Taehyung's as if it were the best tasting, most delicate piece of candy in the world.
The world around seemed to fade away and their heartbeats synced together like pleasant music to the ears. Their lips fought lustfully for dominance, both somehow really talented and good at this. It felt so natural and yet at the same time, it felt so unnatural. They could feel the warmth of the other and the emotions that were mutually shared between them.
Nobody was sick and nobody was drunk this time. They were conscious of their every action and could no longer run away or hide this time.
Taehyung felt Yoongi respond with the same intensity and this caused his lips to slightly curl upwards in a small smile that could be felt against Yoongi's lips.
Their warm breaths mingled and they had to pull away to take a breath.
Taehyung chuckled as he refused to move away from Yoongi. With their foreheads still connected, both of them looked down, their eyes still glued to the other's lips.
"Your highness, why are you always so stupid?"
Yoongi blinked but said nothing. It was probably his first time in life that someone was asking this to him so openly.
Taehyung grabbed Yoongi's cheeks and raised his face up to peck his lips once again before adding, "Your highness, do you like me?"
Yoongi was silent once again as he reluctantly nodded.
Taehyung chuckled as he pecked Yoongi's forehead, "I feel the same way."
"..." Yoongi was unsure if he was dreaming or not so he simply pinched himself to see if he could feel the pain. It hurt meaning this was real.
Taehyung interlaced his fingers with Yoongi's as he added, "My home has always been by your side, your highness."
Yoongi gulped and when he finally decided to accept everything as reality, he couldn't help but chuckle as another lonely tear trailed down his right eye, but before he could wipe it away, Taehyung had already helped him.
Taehyung had probably never been this gentle with anyone ever before. His soft fingertips softly brushed against Yoongi's cheeks and traced the scar that was known as a stigma in the life of this crown prince.
He never thought he would be saying something like this but Taehyung couldn't help but whisper as he traced the scar, "It's beautiful..."
Yoongi gulped as he pulled Taehyung in and kissed him once again. This time, he was the one dominant and leading. When they parted, Yoongi rubbed Taehyung's head with his hand as he asked, "Where did you learn to be so cheesy?"
Taehyung grinned as he heard this, "Your highness has made me a lovesick madman."
"..."
"Everything I say is written by the poet inside me that longs to be loved by your grace."
Yoongi didn't know why but he found it cringy and yet, at the same time, he was happy and enjoyed listening to such words. He felt as if he was going insane slowly with all these sweet words that fell out like fine nectar from Taehyung's lips.
"What is your poet telling you right now?" Yoongi asked as he played along.
Taehyung smiled even brighter as he answered, "He's telling me to grab onto you tightly. To embrace you and fill all my desires so that I'm left with no regrets. To steal your heart and cage it in the safest place inside me so that you can never run away from me. Your highness, I'm guilty of wanting you to love me and care only for me. Is this wrong?"
Yoongi was silent for a minute and when that minute was over, he chuckled lightly as he met Taehyung's eyes and responded, "You're obsessed... But lucky for you, so am I."
They were both finally honest with each other. Their hearts felt light as if they had been carrying a burden of feelings all this while and they could finally set it all down. They felt free and warm, the kind of warmth that could brighten up your day without having the need to see the sun in the morning.
The confession part was over and the future ahead should be bright for them, however, how were they to know that this was just the calm before the storm?
The storm came sooner than they expected...
The next day, Yoongi had to wake up early because of a commotion in the royal court.
An angry man had barged in to demand an explanation for his son that had been wronged. This angry man could have been easily stopped by the guards if he were a commoner, however, he wasn't. He just had to be a high-ranked official in the court whom the guards couldn't hold back for too long.
"I want to meet the crown prince!" Official Yul demanded, the veins on his forehead bulging in anger.
Hyun tried his best to control the situation, but in the end, he could not pour water on the fire that had already spread out of control.
Yoongi arrived in his royal garments with a crown on top of his head and as soon as his presence was announced, the court calmed down. All the officials kneeled down and bowed to greet him as he walked up to his throne and sat down with his left leg crossed over his right.
Of course, the person that had followed him also didn't go unnoticed by the people. Taehyung who had a bright smile on his face stood behind Yoongi's throne as if it were only natural for him to do so.
"You can now speak," Yoongi gave the order and as soon as he did, the commotion continued as if he had just pressed the unpause button on this scene.
They were all shouting and howling, their voices getting mixed up and becoming incomprehensible to Yoongi who frowned as he shouted, "Is this a fish market?! Stop shouting! I'm not deaf. I can hear you even if you don't scream your throats out!"
Some of them stopped and one man, in particular, continued to shout. This man was no other than Official Yul whose son had been personally beheaded by Yoongi.
If there was anyone here who had the right to shout or demand an explanation, it was this exact man.
When the other court officials got the news that a big scandal was about to go down, they naturally got dressed and decided to join in on the fun. It was the best source of entertainment for them. They would either get to see Yoongi be tongue-tied or see official Yul get his head chopped off just like his son.
"Your highness, I demand an explanation for my son!" Official Yul glared at Yoongi as he didn't even bother hiding his raw emotions. Any man who got to hear the news that his son was suddenly beheaded would probably feel the same.
Yoongi chuckled and instead of giving an explanation, he decided to ask another question, "Official Yul, if one of your servants were to spit at your wife, throw cold water at her face, and threatens to cut her tongue, would you have let him live?"
Official Yul was silent for a mere minute before he cried out, "Your highness, the current situation is different! That's my wife, of course, I can't let the servant go! But this case is about my son. Even if he did some immature things, it's because he hadn't grown up yet. He still needs... Needed to learn a lot. And in any case, it isn't like he offended the crown prince or the imperial consort, he merely played around with a hostage prince! He didn't deserve such a heavy punishment!"
Yoongi couldn't help but laugh as he heard this man's ridiculous statement that was supposed to defend his son's actions.
Yoongi suddenly smirked but although it was hidden behind the veil, it could still be felt in the words he uttered next, "So what if I tell you he really did offend the imperial consort?"
"Your highness, that's unreaso-" Official Yul stopped and only now had his eyes trailed behind Yoongi... He saw Taehyung standing there with a proud smile on his face.
Official Yul would truly be an idiot if he didn't know what this all meant.
"Your highness means..." He didn't dare complete his sentence.
"What I mean and what I don't mean is none of your concern," Yoongi strictly answered, "All you need to know is that your son offended me. I'm the one that found him to be an eyesore."
"..."
Official Yul's face flashed through a lot of colors; from red to white to green to white again. His mind seemed to be in a silent war as he heard this.
Although Yoongi had taken all the blame on his own head, it was clear that he had done this because it was Taehyung. Everyone who had any questions about the relationship between Taehyung and Yoongi now got a clear answer.

Title: The Legendary Pseudo-villain
Cover art done by me <3
Synopsis:
Over-confidence can get you killed or in Hecathe's case, it can get you transmigrated into a parallel universe that is dying and in the midst of a war.
It all started with a simple, "Mom! I want to be a villain!"
Years later, Hecathe stood at the top of the economy with his Zelium industries squeezing out every last penny from the pockets of the helpless consumers.
One day he looked over at his secretary and confidently questioned, "When the country runs on your money, do you really think it matters if I'm driving legally or not?"
The heaven's laughed as they heard this. To think that a mere human was this arrogant?!
The heavens: "Let's pull a UNO reverse card on him!"
Hecathe's eyes were glued to his phone as he heard the loud screeching of tires that made him look up and...
Ha. Ha. Ha.
The heavens probably had the last laugh... Or did they?
Hecathe remembered getting hit by a car but instead of waking up in a hospital, he woke up in a stinky jail with heavy chunks of metal chains wrapped around his whole body as if it were a straitjacket.
An expensive custom-made straitjacket.
