Ivy's pov

When we both got out of school, my mind was still in a daze, trying to figure out if this was really happening. He called me ponytail? I never thought I'd be so happy to hear him call me that one day. I never used to really like it, but now, even if I couldn't pull my hair up in a ponytail like I wanted to, I wanted to hear him call me that again.

"Ethan." I called, stopping. "Where are we going?"

He turned to face me. His eyes scanned my face like he was seeing me for the first time.

He smiled at me, brushing both sides of my hair from my face. "First things first, I'm an idiot, and- I've just realized that."

"You kind of are."

"You drive me crazy, you know that?"

I nodded. "You told me that at the library... ICHS."

He grinned. "I barely remember that, but I think I know what would trigger it."

"What?"

I didn't even get to take in another breath after my question before his lips pressed against mine. My heart lurched in my chest as he kissed me like I was the very oxygen he'd been lacking ever since the outside. My arms found a way around his neck as I kissed him back with as much passion, my body pressed against his.

Never am I ever gonna give this up... Not for anything in the world.

When he broke the kiss, I sucked in a deep breath.

"I remember now." He said.

I threw my arms around him in a tight hug, scared that if I let go, I'd lose him for good this time. "I missed you so much... So damn much Ethan, you have no idea. It was torture... It was hell without you."

He hugged me back tightly. "I missed you too. I tried to just forget you cause I thought it was what you wanted, but I couldn't... I couldn't let you go Ivy."

"I'm glad you didn't... You said it in the beginning, you're stuck with me... You'll always remain stuck with me. I won't let you go ever again, I promise." I said, burying my head at the crook of his neck.

"Did you mean it? What you said this morning... You really do love me?"

I pulled away from the hug, my eyes meeting his heart rocking green ones. "Of course I did Ethan. I love you, and I'm so sure of my feelings, I don't want to ever be without or away from you."

"You don't care if being with me would put you in danger?"

"I don't care, all I care about is you Ethan... I'll face any danger for you and with you."

He brought his lips to mine again, in a more softer kiss, a kiss that made my heart jump in excitement, a kiss that made my stomach sing with joy. Ethan Murray was the missing piece to my puzzle, the only one capable of breaking and making my heart.

I knew, ever since he appeared at my door step, I knew... I knew there was no way my life would remain the same.

I didn't know when, but I knew at some point I had grown seriously attached to him and I honestly can't and don't want to dream of the day I would have to live without him.

He broke the kiss, his eyes on mine. "I love you Ivy Fisher, I don't know how or when but- when you told me you didn't need me. I- I felt like you took a part of me with you. I realized that I'd give up my life for you in a heart beat."

"You're serious?"

"You know I'd never joke about something like this Ivy, I mean every single word. I was foolish to think I could live without you, but I can't. You've made me the guy I thought I'd never be again."

I smiled. "Who would have thought?"

"Definitely not me, Ponytail."

I bit my lip. "I never got to ask you."

"What?"

"Your opinion on my new look?"

"I hate it."

My eyes widened, taking a step away from him with a brow raised. "Ink-a-cuse me?"

He laughed, almost like I'd said the most funniest thing in the world... It was good, seeing him laugh after what seemed like forever, and I felt really great to be responsible for that glow back to his perfect face.

"Inkawhat now?" He asked.

"I'm amused you find me funny Ethan."

"As a matter of fact I do... I mean, who says that?"

"Ivy Fisher?" I answered.

He smiled. "Yeah, that's something Ivy Fisher would say. Not this new badass girl in front of me."

"But I love the look, I thought you had a thing for badass girls?"

"I have a thing for Ivy Fisher, the girl who sometimes says and do things people her age shouldn't say or do."

"Things like what?"

"Things like, I was hatched ready? Things like initiate knock mode? Things like naming someone Trevor Treviar?"

I grinned. "Would you like that name back?"

"Never."

"I did think it suited you. The name Trevor, it's so smooth."

"Not as smooth as Ethan."

"Smoother."

"Okay, I'll pretend to agree with you."

"Whoa, am I dreaming?" Fiona's voice cut through the air. We saw her walking towards us.

"Hey Fi."

"Ivy." She said with a grin, then turned to Ethan. "Stranger." She said.

He rolled his eyes. "I need your car." He said to her.

"What happened to your bike?" She asked.

"Lost it."

She raised a brow at him, then her eyes met mine to see I was biting back my laughter. "Yeah he did lose it." I said, backing him up.

"Hm... Okay, you both are planning to ditch school I presume."

"Yeah."

"Cool." She tossed her keys towards Ethan. "Bring her back to me before the end of school, or I swear to God, you'll have me to worry about."

"You know I always worry about you little red."

"Yeah yeah... Catch you both later." She said, sending a wink my way before making her way Into school.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Somewhere special."

"Do I know this special place?"

"I've mentioned it to you once. When you see it, you'll know it."

All through the car ride, I couldn't focus my attention on one thing cause I wanted to see everything.

The ride to school was on a weird looking bus with no windows, and I hadn't really seen anywhere.

This dimension came with it's own struggles, if you don't have enough money to get a car or bike, you ride the sickening bus. There was no bicycle... At least, not that I know of.

The weird part is, they don't use dollars here... But this weird looking square shaped silver thing which they call money, or Silver Coins.

According to Malcolm, it was pure silver and worth more than the money outside. One Silver Coin was worth twenty dollars.

How Glory managed to make this dimension what it is, I'd never truly understand.

It was like another world. Not like the outside, it had it's own... Stuff. Like other versions of everything from the outside.

We turned into a more lonely corner which looked really deserted.

"This is your idea of a special place?"

He shot a grin towards my direction. "No, of course not. There's gonna be something dangerous you'll have to do to get to that special place." He said, shutting the engine to Fiona's car.

"What do you mean?"

"Come on." He said, opening the door to his side, and getting out, I did the same, looking around.

"I see nothing but dry leafs and dead grass, Ethan." I said, going to his side.

There was a building standing gallant in front of me. Shaped like a light house, I looked up to see if it was.

A gasp escaped my lips as my gaze continued to travel up, until I saw the tip, but it seemed far away. Attached to the metal like tower, was a metal ladder that went straight to the very top.

"We call this area, the Musel Base."

My breathing increased, in awe of how big and tall it was.

"The tallest building in the whole dimension." I said breathlessly.

"Beautiful isn't it?"

I nodded, the smile on my face getting broader. "It's your favourite spot in your sector, the first ever building they worked on."

"You remember things."

"You'd be surprised." I said.

"Well, down to the main event... Imagine how beautiful it'd look like from up there."

My head snapped to his. "No."

"Yes."

"Ethan- I can't-"

"That's what you said before you climbed up the Brooklyn bridge."

"This is different Ethan... It's- much taller, and there's no water beneath. We could die."

"Only if we fall."

"I don't think I can."

"That's strange." He said. "I know you can."

I sighed. "How do you even know that?"

He shrugged. "There's only one person I know who can join me to take life snapping risks, and that's you. Come on, it's gonna be fun."

I looked up at the tall tower like structure.  "If I die from this, I'll hunt you." I said.

He nodded. "I know... We're stuck... Together."

I let out a courageous breath. "Okay Murray, let's do this... I'm so hyped right now."

"That's more like you."

He said, intertwining our hands together and leading me forward.
