Raina POV
I sent Winter to meet up with Sirius and to a few blocks away from the prison where I will be and we'll go to see Harry since he wanted to see him first. I agreed and started looking for the best routes to take from the prison to Privet Drive. When the day of the breakout, I transformed into a wolf and went to the rendezvous point to wait for Sirius. When he finally came, he saw me and we both ran to an alleyway where we would be able to talk. We both turned back and looked at each other. He back the traditional Black hair and grey eyes of the Black Family. His hair was short and in a mess and his clothes were ripped and torn all over. He looked at me and I smiled "Good to see you uncle. I hope the breakout went well," he smirked and nodded. He handed me the things I gave him and I put them in my pocket dimension. "Shall we get going? I want to see my godson," he said and I nodded. I turned into my wolf form and him, into his dog form. I lead him through the easiest and less noticeable routes to Privet Drive. It took us two days of non-stop running along with a few breaks to finally get there but we made. It was dark and we were in a park. We saw Harry coming along with his luggage and his wand out. I could tell he was angry at something but, of course, I didn't know what.
Sirius showed himself to Harry and he barked, Harry got scared and fell on the ground. I pulled Sirius back as the Knight Bus came into view. Harry got on after checking if Sirius was still there. "We have to go. He will end up going to Hogwarts and you need to start making your way there. Ron always brings his stupid rat so there is where you'll be able to catch him. I have to go home and pack," I said to him and he nodded. I gave him a map of the best ways to get out of town without being seen and a bag with enough food for a week and a flea spray since they were bugging him. He thanked me and left while I went home. Once there, I showered and got my clothes ready for tomorrow since I was going to the station. I was going to wear a black spaghetti-strap crop-top and black leggings with black short heal boots. I decided to leave Venom, and Jafar here in the care of Kreacher while I took Winter and Kronos with me. I left bags off food for them with names on each bag so he would know what food to feed them. After I finished, I called for Kreacher. He apparated next to me "Yes, Lady Raina?" he asked "While I'm gone, I'm leaving you in charge of Venom, and Jafar. Please remember to feed them in the morning and at night and always close their cages," I said and he nodded and left.
I have gotten along with him ever since my stay but he refuses to be free. He says that if he is free then he would have no purpose. I allowed him to stay and told him that if he ever wanted to be free then he would just have to tell me and I would set him free. He agreed and we continued with our lives. I muted the portrait of my uncle's mom because she wouldn't stop screaming so now she screams but no one can hear her. She kept screaming because she didn't like what I did to the place. She didn't like that I got rid of the dark aura in this place and allowed good to take over. I have also come to terms with the fact that Neva is gone now. I check my head for signs of her but she was truly gone. Only her powers are left.
The next morning, after I changed, I headed towards the Leaky Cauldron since I knew Harry was there. I left my luggage in the dragon realm and allowed Winter to go flying while she followed me. When I got there, I didn't expect Hermione and Ron to be there. I saw Scabbers running and then Winter flew by me and tried to eat him, I saw a cat trying to do the same to Scabbers. Ron went after his rat while Hermione went after the cat. I followed trying to catch Winter. When we all caught our animals Ron started yelling at us "I'm warning you two, keep those beasts away from Scabbers or I'll turn them into pillows," he yelled. Hermione and I shot back "It's/She's a(n) cat/owl, Ronald. What do you expect?" we both said at the same time. "It's in their nature," Hermione finished as I kept petting Winter for her to calm down. "A cat? An owl? Is that what they told you? Looks more like a pig with hair and a bat with feathers," he said and Hermione responded "That's rich coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush," then she started petting her cat "It's alright Crookshanks. Just ignore the mean little boy," she said to it while Winter started going crazy at it again at the insult. "Calm down Winter, Ron didn't mean it," I said to her and I got her to calm down again.
"Harry!" Ron said and Hermione and I turned around and saw him on the stairs. "Harry," Hermione repeated and I smiled "Morning Harry. How come you're here?" I asked and he shook his head "Long story," he said and I nodded. We sat at a table to eat while Ron showed Harry the pictures of when he went to Egypt. I already saw them since Molly sent them to me. George and Fred came down the stairs and started teasing Ron about showing the pictures to everyone. Percy came walked behind me and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley came down as well. Molly started mother Harry and me about having everything we needed and we both nodded. Mr. Weasley then took Harry for a moment and I listened in with my dragon hearing. "Harry, some within the Ministry would strongly discourage me from divulging what I'm about to reveal to you. But I think that you need to know the fact. You are in danger. Grave Danger," Mr. Weasley said and Harry asked, "Has this something to do with Sirius Black, sir?" "What do you know about Sirius Black, Harry?" Mr. Weasley asked Harry while leaning on a wall. "Only that he's escaped from Azkaban," Harry responded. So it took them two days to publish it. Good thing they don't know anything about me helping him. "Do you know why?" Arthur asked. "Thirteen years ago, when you stopped You-Know-Who, Black lost everything. But to this day, he remains a faithful servant. And in his mind, you are the only thing that stands in the way of You-Know-Who returning to power. And that is why he has escaped from Azkaban. To find you." My hands turned to fist as I heard what he said. They have it all wrong. Sirius was framed by Peter. "And kill me," Harry finished what Arthur was saying. "Harry, swear to me that whatever you might hear, you won't go looking for Black," Arthur pleaded and Harry said "Mr. Weasley, why would I go looking for someone who wants to kill me?" he asked and then Arthur nodded and they came back.
The next morning we were all on the train waiting for it to leave. I was following Hermione as we looked for an empty booth. Ron put his head out a window to grab his rat from Molly. While we were looking, Harry told us how he blew up his uncle's aunt by accident. I snickered as Ron laughed and Hermione scolded him. We went into a booth that had a teacher sleeping. I looked at his briefcase and saw that it read R.J. Lupin. So he was the other friend of Harry's dad. The werewolf. I believe he would be our new Defense teacher. "How is it she knows everything?" Ron asked not knowing she looked at his briefcase like I did. "It's on his suitcase, Ronald," she said and pointed at it. "Oh," he said and I giggled. I swear those to will end up together someday. Harry closed our booth door and started explaining what happened with Arthur. As Ron tried to see if he understood what Harry said, I looked at the window. I was beside Harry and he was next to Lupin, so I was the farthest from the window so I couldn't see what was wrong. Then the train stopped. "Why are we stopping? We can't be there yet," Hermione said as Harry stood up and went to the door like everyone else on the train. The suddenly moved and Harry sat back down quickly as the door closed. "What's going on?" Ron asked "I don't know. Maybe we've broken down," Harry said and then the lights went out.
"Ouch, Ron. That was my foot," Hermione said as she turned to Ron, who was looking out the window. "Something is moving out there," he said and I started feeling the air outside. It was getting cold. The window started icing and they looked at me "That's not me," I said since I knew that they thought it was me who as freezing the windows. The water next to the window also froze. It started getting cold but I wasn't affected. Then we saw a dark hooded figure outside our booth door. I held onto Harry as I got scared of what it could be. The booth glass froze and the thing opened the door. I took out my wand ready to attack. I saw icy dead-like hands come in first. Then I saw it fully. A dementor. I remembered the spell for this thing and it's a good thing I mastered doing it with saying it. The dementor turned to Harry and me but it attacked Harry only. As it sucked his soul I watched in horror. When it came in was when I reacted and stood up and pointed my wand at it. A bright light came out and I also noticed Lupin standing next to me. We drove all the dementors away since we combined our Patronus. I turned back to Harry and saw that he fainted. He tried waking him up but it took a while.
Hermione gave him his glasses and he sat up. "Here, eat this. It'll help," Lupin told him as he passed him a bar of chocolate. Harry ate it as I made sure he was ok. "Thanks for the help, professor," I said and he nodded. "What was that thing that came?" Harry asked "Dementor. They guard the prisoners in Azkaban. Why was it here, I don't know," I said and he ate a piece of the chocolate. "It was searching the train for Sirius Black," he said and stood up "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to have a little word with the driver," he said and left. "What happened to me?" Harry asked as he took another bite. "Well, you kinda went rigid. We thought maybe you were having a fit or something," he seemed upset "And did any of you...you know...pass out?" he asked and we shook our heads. "Don't worry about it, Harry. You're not the first to pass out because of a dementor. Dementors feed off of sorrow and pain, and you have so much of it. It affected you badly. The only reason I didn't pass out was that it went straight for you and completely ignore me. I would have passed out if it came for me," I said and put my hand on his shoulder. "That's why I felt weird. Like I'd never be cheerful again," Ron said as Hermione looked at him while holding Crookshanks. "But someone was screaming. A woman," Harry said and I immediately knew which memory did the dementor took him back to. The day his mother died.
After a few hours, we got to Hogwarts. We had already changed so we went to the carriages and headed for the castle. I had my wand in hand, just in case the carriage went a different way again. After sorting, some students sang and then Dumbledore said a few words. He introduced the new professor, said Hagrid was the new magical creatures professor and then said that Hogwarts was going to host some of the dementors while they Search for Sirius. There were some complaints but there was nothing we could do about it. We were said to stay away from them since they didn't care who was good or bad.
After dinner, we went to the common room where the fat lady was trying to break a glass cup with her voice. She wouldn't let us in. She then started again and made us watch. She broke it in the back and believed we didn't see her. Harry said the password again and she finally let us in. We all went to our dorms and started unpacking. I brought Kronos out of the Dragon realm and he seemed happy to be back in my dorm. He lied down on his bed while I changed and started reading a new book.
The next morning, we had Divination for our first class. I didn't like the teacher but I still listened and read the book we had to get for her class. She told us to give our cup to the person opposite us and guess who was my partner. Lucas Prince. I gave him my cup as he gave me his. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Over the summer we saw each other a few times so we gt along better. She then went to Ron after scaring Neville. She was loony. I smirked at her behavior. I think Cana would love to have it out with her. She told Ron to read the cup and he started flipping pages "Well, Harry got a wonky cross. That's trials and suffering. And that there could be the sun and that is happiness. So you're going to suffer but you're going to be happy about it," Ron said and I snorted "Ron, that's not how it is. He's going to suffer but he's going to be alright by the end of it," I said and he understood. Harry also nodded in appreciation for clarifying what his cup meant. Trelawny then asked for the cup and immediately dropped it. "My boy, you gave the Grim," I looked at her disbelieving. Someone started reading on what it meant. "Taking the form of a giant spectral dog. It's among the darkest omens in our world. It's an omen of death," the boy said and I got up. I grabbed his cup and looked at myself. She was right, death is following him. I looked at him and put my hand on his shoulder. I then went back to my table and continued with the lesson Trelawny was teaching. When it ended, the four of us headed towards Hagrid's hut since we had Care for Magical Creatures now.
