Raina POV
The next morning I went to my dorm to shower and feed my animals. I checked on my egg and saw that it was close to hatching. I changed robes and went to Hagrid. I asked him about the chamber of secrets 50 years ago and he seemed shocked "How do you know about that?" he asked and I sighed. "I asked my house-elf when was the Chamber opened before and he told me 50 years ago. And I knew you were here during that so I decided to ask you," I answered and he told me what happened. He told me how they blamed his spider for ding it but it wasn't him. He ended up expelled from the school and that Dumbledore offered him to stay here when his father died. I nodded and told him that I would be around after classes since I still had to help him. Right now though, I had DADA so I had to get there on time.
We were in the great hall today learning how to duel. Lockhart was against Snape. Snape ended up throwing him across the floor but he laughed it off saying he let Snape do that. I was next to Draco since that was where my house was but I would rather be with my friends. I saw how Justin, a muggle-born, introduced himself to Harry. I was very happy that Harry was making friends from different houses.
I looked at Snape as he smirked at being able to throw Lockhart against the floor. I was a bit jealous since I have wanted to do that a thousand times. "Perhaps it would be prudent to first teach the students to block unfriendly spells, Professor," Snape suggested and Lockhart agreed. He called up Harry and Ron but Snape interrupted "Weasley's wand causes devastation even with the simplest spells. We'll be sending Potter to the hospital wing in a matchbox. Might I suggest someone from my own house? Malfoy, perhaps," Draco and I looked at him "Which one?" we both asked at the same time. We looked at each other and I smiled. It had been a long time since we did that "Draco," Snape said while pointing his wand at him. Draco went up to the stage and started walking up to Harry. They took out their wands and bowed. Then they walked away from each other and turned around in a stance ready to fight. "Everte Statum!" Draco yelled first. As the spell hit Harry he was thrown across the stage just like Lockhart. He got up and said "Rictusempra!" the spell hit Draco and he landed on his ass in front of Snape. Snape lifted him and Draco went again "I said disarm only," Lockhart reminded them. "Serpensortia!" Draco said and a snake showed up. I moved away from my house and went to where Harry used to stand, next to Justin. Lockhart made it fly and when it landed it turned to Justin. I stood beside him as he backed up. "Sayahrsashi(This is done purely out of hearing the movie. As close to it as I could get it)," both Harry and I said. I looked at him confused at how he knew the language. I stood in front of Justin as it got closer. I stuck out my arm for him to bite while Harry and I continued to tell him not to attack. "Sayahrsieth," he turned to Harry in defiance and then turned back to me. "Sayahrsieth," we repeated and I put my arm in front of him again as he started climbing me. He wrapped himself around my neck and I smiled. Then I heard Justin speak up "What are you playing at?" I turned to him confused. Harry looked around and saw that almost everyone was glaring at him. He ran out of the hall and I followed him. Hermione and Ron followed as well.
Ron grabbed my shoulder and turned me around "You guys are Parselmouths? Why didn't you tell us?" he asked and Harry responded, "We're what?" "You guys can talk to snakes," Hermione said "I know. I mean, I accidentally set a python on my cousin Dudley once," Harry said. Ron looked at Hermione "Once. But so what? I bet loads of people can do it," he said and Hermione shook her head. "No, they can't. It's not a very common gift, Harry. This is bad," Harry was confused "What's bad? If we hadn't told that snake not to attack Justin..." Harry was cut off by Ron "That's what you guys said to it," "You were there. You heard us," Harry said. I was beginning to think that Harry didn't know he could speak parseltongue. "I heard you guys speak Parseltongue. Snake language," Ron said and I spoke up, "I thought only I can do it along with he-who-must-not-be-named. I never thought someone else could do it too," I said while looking at Harry.
"I spoke a different language?" we nodded "But I didn't realize...How can I speak a language without knowing I can?" Harry asked himself. So I was right, he didn't know. "I don't know Harry, but it sounded like you guys were egging the snake on or something. Harry, listen to me. There's a reason the symbol of Slytherin is a serpent," Hermione said and I cut in "Salazar Slytherin was a Parselmouth. He could talk to snakes too," I said and Ron nodded "Exactly. Now the whole school is going to think Raina's his great-great-great grandchild or something and you're a close cousin or something," "But we're not! We can't be," Harry said and I shook my head. "He lived a thousand years ago, Harry. For all we know, you guys could be," I shook my head. "It's not possible, I know my family history like I know the back of my hand. The Potters are not even close to my family and the Malfoys come from a Malfoy. We were Malfoys since the beginning of time," I said but they didn't seem convinced.
~4 days later~
I was in my dorm, in the secret room. Today was the day that the dragon was going to hatch. I watched in anticipation as it started moving I got close to it as it cracked. I was happy when it came up to me "Mommy?" I said and I smiled. "Geh, zu'u los hin monah (Yes, I am your mother)," I said to her as she got closer. "Hungry," she said and I put a piece of goat meat in front of her. She ate it quickly and I smiled. "I'll name you Viper," I said and she purred (Everything in quotations and italics is dragon language. Everything in quotations and bold is snake language) I started teaching her manners and training her on what she could and couldn't do. She was so cute, and I got her out of the need to eat humans so she only eats animal meat. I took her to the dragon realm so they could teach her how to control herself. And also, I could have the secret room to keep my stock of material for when I make clothes. I had finished all request that I got at the beginning of the month for people who are going to the village next month. I make their request and they pay me for my work. This is how I make extra money to put in my bank account. The one that dad doesn't know about. I made an account with my last name as Black instead of Malfoy since I was planning on dropping the Malfoy name when I came of age.
Anyway, right now I was on my way to study hall with my drawing book in hand since I finished all my homework and Snape has no more classes today. I was planning on drawing new outfits while I stayed with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. On my way there though, I saw Justin on the floor with Sir Nick floating on top of him. I got closer to him as Harry also saw me. He came closer as well and looked at Justin "He was like this when I got here, I swear," I told him and he nodded. He knew I was telling the truth. The Filch came out of the corner "Caught in the act. I'll have you both out this time," he said as he went to a teacher. We then saw spiders going out the window again. As we reached the window, McGonagall came and was horrified at what she saw. "Professor, it wasn't us," I said but she shook her head. "I'm sorry Miss Raina, but this is out of my reach," she said and walked us to Dumbledore's office.
Once in his office, we looked around. I might have been here before but I didn't take my time to look around so I'm going to do that right now. Harry and I saw the sorting hat on a shelf and started wondering about things. "Bee in you bonnets, Potter, Malfoy," it asked and we looked shocked at it. "I was just wondering if you put us in the right house?" Harry asked "Yes. Both of you were difficult to place. But I stand by what I said last year. You, Mr. Potter, would have done well in Slytherin," he said to Harry and we shook our heads. "You're wrong," Harry said and we turned away. I saw Fawkes on the rails. looks like today is his last day before he burns and revives again. When he burst into flames, Harry seemed shocked "It's alright. His a phoenix. This happens every time their life comes to an end. Then another one is born from the ashes," I said as I pointed at the baby phoenix. Dumbledore came in and greeted us. "Fascinating creatures, aren't they? They can carry heavy loads and their tears have healing powers."
~Time skip to later that night because I'm lazy~
When I got to the common room, I saw Draco there waiting for me. "Where were you?" he asked and I glared "None of your business," I said and crossed my arms "Hanging out with that stupid mud-blood?" he asked and I glared harder "Watch it Draco. You know what happened last time," he smirked and said "And there it is. How can you be my sister if you love mud-bloods so much? Always defending them, hanging around them. Disgusting," he scoffed at me "Where are you getting at Draco? What do you want?" he got angry and screamed at me "I want to know why?! Why do you choose them over us?! Why did you become a traitor?!" he said while screaming at me. I knew some Slytherins came out of their dorms to see what was happening but didn't dare interfere. "Watch your mouth with me Draco. You might be the older twin but I can still kick your ass. Just because you're dad's puppet doesn't mean I have to be one too. I make my own choices about who I am. If I want to befriend a muggle-born then it has nothing to do with you or our family," I said yelling back. He ended up getting so mad that he slapped me across the face. I stumble back and held my right cheek. He seemed to have just realized what he did because his voice softened as he tried to get closer to me "Raina, I'm..." I cut him off.
"Get away from me. Not even father has ever laid his hands on me so what makes you think you can. So this is your choice, stupid beliefs over me. Tell mom that I won't be there for Christmas this year and that I will find somewhere to stay over the summer because I'm never going to that place ever again. Especially not with you," I said and walked out of the common room. I was running through the third floor trying to find a place to be alone when I ran into Harry. He saw my tears "Raina, what happened?" he asked me and I just started crying. I hugged him tightly and buried my face into his robes. He hugged me back and lead me to the inside of the girl's bathroom. No one was in there so we sat down on the floor and he asked me what happened. "It was awful, Harry. I got inside the common room and Draco just started accusing me of being friends with muggle-borns. I told him that just because he was our father's puppet didn't mean I had to be one. I said that the friends I choose were none of his business nor my family's business. He got so mad at me for that, he ended up slapping me," I couldn't continue and started crying again as I leaned on him. After a while, I fell asleep.
Harry POV
I was so angry that Draco would hit his own sister for something as stupid as being friends with muggle-borns. When she finally fell asleep I carried her to the Gryffindor common room. When the ones that were there saw me come in with Raina in my arms, they got angry "Are you mad? You can't bring people from other houses here. It's forbidden," one girl said but I just ignored her. I placed Raina down on the empty couch as the twins, Ron, and Hermione came to us. "What happened?" Fred asked as he saw her tear-stained face. "Draco got angry at her for hanging around muggle-borns and when she said something he didn't like, he hit her. I found her running around the third floor as she burst into tears. She ended up crying herself to sleep," they were all shocked. Soon enough Percy came down as well and saw Raina "What happened?" he asked and George answered him. He looked angry when he was told what Draco did. "Keep her here. Let her sleep here for tonight while I go and talk to McGonagall," Percy said and he left.
After about half an hour, Percy came back with news from McGonagall "She said Raina can stay here for tonight and she'll talk to Dumbledore about having the hat sort her into a different house," we all nodded and brought a blanket for her. We kept her warm and stayed with her until it was time for bed. I stayed with her the whole night since I wanted to make sure she was alright.

Third Person POV
Dumbledore was at his desk listening to McGonagall along with the other Head Teachers "Albus, let's have the sorting hate change her house. Draco hit her this time for believing in everything Slytherin doesn't. What if next time, instead of hitting her once he ends up beating her. Pure-bloods don't take well to 'blood traitors.' If her own brother called her a traitor then the others won't give a damn about her family name and end up hurting her more than he did," McGonagall said. Then Snape spoke up "As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with Professor McGonagall. Raina doesn't believe in anything Slytherin does and was only placed there because of how scary she can be when angry. I am ok with the sorting hat changing her house," Snape said and the other two Head Teachers nodded "Then it's settled. Raina will be sorted again tomorrow at dinner. Now let's all go to sleep and get ready for tomorrow." Dumbledore said and they all left.
