Raina POV

We had no more classes after DADA so I went to the changing room since Slytherin had Quidditch practice because Draco is our new seeker. Dad had bought the whole team new brooms so Draco could be on the team, though they know what will happen if I catch them cheating this year. I left the new broom meant for me in the locker room because I liked my old one.

While on our way to the field, we ran into the Gryffindor team "Where do you think you're going, Flint?" Oliver asked Marcus "Quidditch practice," he answered. "I booked the pitch for Gryffindor today," Oliver replied "Easy, Wood," Marcus said and showed him the paper Snape gave him about our training with our new seeker. Ron and Hermione came our way as Oliver read the paper. "You got a new seeker?" he asked and Draco walked forward. Then Draco showed off the new brooms while I just scoffed and rolled my eyes. "How'd you get them?" Ron asked and Draco scoffed "A gift from Draco's and Riana's father," Marcus replied "See, Weasley, unlike others, my father can afford the best," Draco showed off "Yea, he's the best alright. The best at making choices for people and expecting them to be ok with it," I said and Draco frowned "He apologized for that Raina," he said and I scowled "No amount of apologies is going to make me forgive him for choosing at my birth who I marry and telling me 12 years later. That was my choice to make and I alone will make it. I won't be like you and just accept whatever he has to say," I said challenging my brother. "Careful, Raina. You'replaying with fire," he said and I scoffed "The best part about being ice cold, is that low fire like yours doesn't affect me," I said and looked away from him. Then Hermione spoke up "At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in. They got in on pure talent," she said and I smirked. This is why I love it when they win. Draco went up to her "No one asked your opinion, you filthy mud-blood," I gasped and saw Ron pulling out his wand. I stopped him and turned to Draco.

"Take that back Draco," I said while glaring at him. "No," he said firmly. I smirked and placed runes all around us so no one saw what came next "Last chance Draco. Take. It. Back." I said but he still refused. I smirked and said: "You will now know why they fear me so much. I didn't want to show you this before since you're my brother but I'll make an exception," I said and turned into a dragon. I froze his feet to the ground "They don't fear me because of who my dad is like they fear you. They fear me because I can make them suffer in plain daylight and no one will know," I said and started spitting fire. I did it for 10 minutes before stopping and taking down the runes. "You will never say that to anyone ever again Draco. Because if you do, the same thing that happened just now will happen again, but longer each time you say it. So be careful with what you say and what you call my friends."

I turned to Ron and Harry, "Sorry you guys had to see that. This is how I keep my team in check. Believe me, unless they want to relive what happened last year, you will have a clean game this year," I said while looking at Hermione "Since Gryffindor can't train today, you three should go to Hagrid. Catch up, and again, I'm sorry for today," I said and walked to the field with the rest of the Slytherin team following. We practiced that whole afternoon until seven o'clock. While we were in the changing room, I heard Draco talked about telling father what he saw today but Flint told him he won't be able to. He explained to Draco that I put a seal on all of them so they wouldn't be able to say or write anything about what they saw. I smirked as I left the changing room and went to my dorm. I showered and then fed all my animals. When I finished changing, I walked to the door to leave. As I opened the door, I saw Lucas right outside of it.

I sighed and crossed my arms "What do you want? Here to reveal another you kept from me?" I said as I walked passed him to the stairs. "Can we talk about this, Raina? I didn't have a choice either," he said and I turned to him with an angry face "But accepted it and said nothing to me. You should have told me last year. You shouldn't have kept something like that from me," I said to him and continued to walk down the stairs and to the cafeteria. As I made my way to my table, I saw how Draco was avoiding me. I shrugged it off and went to the edge of the table where I sat with my earphones on. I listened to music as I ate my dinner. I really didn't care that the Slytherin team was glaring me, or the fact that Draco was ignoring me. I didn't care that Lucas had sat down beside me nor the Gryffindors that were looking at me confused. I just ate my dinner and stayed quiet.

I looked at the Gryffindor table and noticed that Ron and Harry weren't here. I then remembered that Hermione told me that they got themselves detention in McGonagall for talking during class. After I finished eating I, got up and started walking towards the fourth floor. As I passed the empty halls I heard a hissing sound. It was saying something about killing someone. I followed the voice and ran into Harry, Ron, and Hermione on the way "You hear it too?" I asked them and Harry nodded while the others shook their heads. When we reached a corridor full of water on the floor and walked down it looking for what happened. We then noticed the spiders acting weird. They were all in a line going out the window. I was confused "Strange. I've never seen spider act like that," Harry said and I nodded. "I don't like spiders," Ron said and I just sighed. I looked further on the corridor and saw something on the reflection of the water. The others saw it too "What's that?" Ron asked as we looked up on the wall. It read "The chamber of secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir...beware," Hermione read out loud. Then we saw Filch's cat hanging from a torch, petrified. As the other students came along as well, Harry and I approached the cat. I was about to take her down when Draco spoke what was ridden on the wall. "You'll be next, mud-bloods," he finished and I stopped. I went up to him and pulled his ear "What did I tell you about that. Continue and I will make your year a living hell," I said and walked back to Mrs. Norris as Filch came through the people and found us standing in front of his cat.

"Potter. Malfoy. What are you..." he didn't finish as he saw his cat hanging from the torch, looking as if she was dead. I pulled Harry behind me "You murdered my cat," my cat he said as he got closer to me. I kept my grip tight on Harry so he wouldn't try to get in front of me "I'll kill you," he said as he grabbed my robes "I'll kill you!" he yelled at me and then Dumbledor came. "Argus!" he said as teachers followed him. He read the message on the wall and said "Everyone to your dormitories, immediately," everyone started moving while I was heading towards Hagrid. "Everyone except you four," he said as he pointed at me, Harry, Ron, and Hermione. "She not dead, Argus. She has been petrified," Lockhart said shit after that and I just rolled my eyes. "But how she's been petrified, I can not say," Dumbledor said and Filch spoke up "Ask her. She did it. You saw what she wrote on the wall," he said nodding towards me. "It's not true, Professor. I've never even touched Mrs. Norris," I said while looking at Dumbledor. I knew he believed me but convincing Filch was the problem. "Lies," Filch said and Snape interrupted. "If I may, perhaps Miss Raina and the three Gryffindors were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, the circumstances are suspicious. I, for one, remember seeing Miss Raina leaving the dinner table early and I don't recall seeing Mr. Potter at dinner," he said and I looked at him "I'm afraid that's my doing, Severus. Harry was helping me answer my fan mail," Lockhart answered. 'Well he's good for something,' Neva said and I mentally nodded.

"That's why Ron and I went looking for him Professor. We'd just found him when he said..." she stopped and Harry continued "When I said I wasn't hungry," he finished. "We were heading back to the common room when we found Mrs. Norris," he said and the other two nodded. "What about you, Miss Raina?" Snape asked, turning to me "I left dinner early because I wasn't in the mood to be around my housemates at the moment. I was planning on being there before everyone else so I wouldn't be bothered when I found them and decided to walk with them until we reached this corridor since it also leads to the common room. I saw the spiders acting weird and then the writing on the wall and then Mrs. Norris. Harry and I approached her as students started coming here and all this happened," I said and he nodded. He seemed to believe me but not the other three and then he turned to Dumbledore "Innocent until proven guilty, Severus," Dumbledore said. "My cat has been petrified. I wanna see some punishment!" Filch said as I remembered what helped petrification. "We will be able to cure her, Argus. As I understand, Madam Sprout has a very healthy growth of Mandrakes. And mature, the potion will be made which will revive Mrs. Norris," Dumbledore said as I spoke up.

"I have a few Mandrake potions that I made over the summer. I asked my father for the ingredients so I could practice. I have them on me right now," I said as I pulled out a small box "I used a shrinking potion to keep it small since I feared Winter might knock them over and I have the growth potion on me as well," I said and I dropped one drop of growth potion on the box and it became regular sized. I handed it over to Snape as he checked them. The turned to Dumbledore and nodded "Rightly done and ready to use," he said giving the box to Dumbledore. "Thank you, Miss Raina," Dumbledore said and I smiled "Ten points for Slytherin, for making three difficult potions right," Snape said and I smiled. "Now get to your dorms, and Raina, you don't have to help Hagrid tonight. I already told him that tonight you wouldn't be able to help him," Dumbledore said and I nodded. I said goodbye to Harry, Ron, and Hermione as I made my way to the dungeons. When I got to the common room, I saw that no one else was there besides Lucas. I sighed and continued on my way as he saw me and followed. "Go away, Lucas. I don't want to talk to you," I said and I continued on my way to my dorm. "Raina, just please, listen to me. I'm sorry, ok? I didn't tell you because I knew you weren't going to like it and I wanted to get to know you first. I wanted us to get to know each other first. Just please, give me a chance to gain back your trust. If I can't then we'll both terminate the agreement and you'd be free," he said as I stopped in front of my door.

I sighed and turned to him "You have until the end of this year to change my mind, Lucas. If not, we terminate this agreement," I said as he hugged me tightly. I giggled and hugged him back "Thank you," he said and I nodded. Then he left to his dorm while I entered my own. I changed into my sleeping clothes. I remembered Harry didn't have dinner tonight so he must be hungry. I went through a secret passage to the kitchens and grabbed some food for him. I then took another passage that leads to the inside of the Gryffindor common room. I went up the stairs into the boys' dorms and looked for Harry's. When I found him, he was by his window "Harry," I whispered and he turned to me "How'd you get in here?" he asked as I got closer to him "This castle holds many secrets," I said and gave him the plate "I knew you didn't eat tonight so I brought you food from the kitchen. When you're done just leave it on your table and it'll go back to the kitchen on its own," I said and he nodded. "Goodnight Harry," "Goodnight Raina," he said and I left. When I got back to my dorm, I checked the egg and saw that it was only a few days away from hatching. I had decided that when the dragon was old enough, I would send it to the dragon realm for the dragons to watch over it and teach it. They agreed so it was fine. I then lied down on my bed and let sleep take over.
