the warm sunlight like every morning filtered through the intricate stone carvings of the grand mansion, promising what was always mean to be a beautiful day for the two women that stood in front of the big window.
Katiandra stood behind Lorelei, hugging her from behind, her nose deep in her hair. After a moment of pure stillness, she nudged her to have them moving out to enjoy the day.
Like one person they made their way to what they had labeled their place â a lush, hidden part of the garden nestled deep within the estate's sprawling grounds, by its own it form a small garden amongst the great one.
Years ago, the Queen had Mrs Blake directing the group of people that created it, a gift to buy her lover's good side, that was around the time Lorelei depression had kick in, she was not ashamed of using that kind of tricks if they always work, whatever was useful to have Lorelei's mind believing in them was whatever she had done.
To have them now, walking like this, or laying there all day surrounded by flowers was a reward of a rare degree. Sighing slowly relaxed like she had never been in her life, Katiandra's green eyes scanned Lorelei's marvelous body feeling her own getting warm along with her heart.
Sometime it was not about lust or want but a deep sense of contentment that was almost spiritual. Closing her eyes she wondered about all that was unsaid, all that was done in the unseen to have all of this possible.
Those moments of deep thinking where more current with time, she was having this favour from above she knew had to be for a reason.
What it entailed she was in need of the answer, her mind needed one, she knew with what had happened in her bedroom years before with the Oracle appearance, all her guiding for this to happen was not for nothing. Now the woman was death, Katiandra remembered the last day they had talked, understanding it was a goodbye, though that day she had thought it was for her going away but it was the reverse.
Katia knew if people like the Oracle and her family existence was real, if Lorelei's life was tangible, it was proof
that even the Divine has reason to do things. That experience and all that had followed transformed her irreversibility shifting her understanding of human existence.
Her mind went back on that first day she had met her soulmate, the blabbing Alicia had to tell about Spirit world awakening. The thing that happened after that, the pull, the unquenchable attraction. Arthur fall.
Despite her mind overflowing with questions, those had no power to affect the serene expression of her face, looking at her form her right, all Lorelei could see was a big smile that did nothing to fool her but she understood that both of them were their own person with their own thoughts they share with each other's when the moment was right.
So she responded to that smile with a laught that came from nowhere but settled right in each of their souls. That was Lorelei, the pure definition of carefree. Their gazes anchored in each other's for a long moment before they resumed walking in total silence.
Life vibrate around them, like an aura, a blanket igniting everything around, with the sweet scent of the exotic flowers, the soft chirping of birds, giving the vibe of what the word paradise was mean to be, contentment that was the alignement of the being with its inner self reaching deeper in the roots of the its Source to reveal the human true self.
Like an orchestra that was well in tune
The garden was a marvel of beauty, with vibrant flowers of every hue stretching as far as the eye could see, the estate was really large. Towering sunflowers stood guard, their bright yellow petals shining like miniature suns, most Porys varieties giving red wine kinds that always surprise at first.
Delicate orchids swayed gently in the breeze, their exotic fragrance wafting through the air. A winding path, lined with soft, emerald-green grass, led to a secluded spot in the heart of the garden. It looked like a large terrace detached from it house, in Arabic theme.
A beautifully crafted chessboard sat atop an elegant, marbles table, awaiting the couple's arrival. Not far from it, gardening clean tools were disposed there for them to use.
Being someone who love the nature despite her multiple functions back in Porys, Katia had reconnected to that passion of hers doing it at least one hour per day since she came back.
Leading them to the tools she looked her soulmate way a soft smile on while this one apprehension was already showing by how she was looking at the gloves that was handed to her.
"You are going to do more watering today. Nothing heavy love, I will do the rest." She said to Lorelei who she knew was not that much into it.
"Okay. Huh, where do I start Boss?" The sweetest tone possible purred those words like liquid tentation making Katiandra's heart missed a beat at the same time her gaze on their own volution moved to find her soulmate shining gaze.
The mischief that was written all over it had the older woman groaning trying her best to regulate her breath. This was a low blow and the culprit knew it.
"Do not call me like that... No, huh huh dear. No boss when I am trying to focus, we need to transplant all of it before its time is off." She admonished to a smiling Lorelei, who just nodded shaking her head.
"You do love it though... What?? Set your mind straight on those needy flowers! My, my... Where have you put your mind? I am talking about your love to dig your hands in the mud! It is... Good for the earth to have peopled like you. I am appreciative of the character and it's action here. The view also is unique. Keep up the good work my Queen, very attractive is your attire milady." Throughout all her speech she kept checking her out with no complex, fire in her eyes and candor on her face, seriously, the image of innocency.
After saying that, the young woman picked up the hose and began watering the plants and flowers that had been planted since the beginning of their garden project - A section that was made only with Porys essences most of the plant coming from their plants museum - While she did so, she moved further and further away, making any conversation impossible.
Chuckling at her words Katiandra let her be knowing they would have nothing done if they continue in her partner false innocent topic. Breathing out in regret to not be able to go there Katiandra's picked her gloves to wear them before starting, her eyes pleased to see her partner doing her duty with care and attention.
Yes, Katia loved that her soulmate liked it still, but with limit in the time, she had confessed to her she liked it because it was an activity the Queen loved, by being a part of it she could learned much of her partner being.
That revelation had made the older woman cried in plain day for how mature it was her own children paled in front of that, she had learned from herself it pleased her to do this with her partner too, it was not pathetic but human.
She had learned that above Lorelei love for the beauty of the nature. There were things that could make her disgusted, scream or could make her react like a soldier ready to pounce on whatever will appear in front of them.
All being creatures living in the garden
" We have different way to see those creatures. For you, they are all wonderful living there in the mud. For me it is a different story. They were used to assault me mentally. Consequently, I prefer for everyone to stay it their element. No mingling"
Katiandra had not laugh at that revelation . Not only had she witnessed two people appearing in her own bedroom, but she had done the same with them. She also knew the story of Lorelei's teenager's time, animals appearing from nowhere in improbable places making it clear those had appear for anyone that was trying to doubt it. She had confessed it took her long to understand why.
Katiandra also learned that the digging and dirty was not what Lorelei preferred certainly due to the OCD she had developed in response to those assaults.
It was all summarize in the phrase "cleanliness is holiness " perfectionism was written in her DNA. That was one thing that characterize her lovers in her essence.
Katiandra, resplendent in a Porysian dress that looked like a Japanese kimono that fit her in all the right place without being clingy, her reddish tresses tied back in an elegant chignon, moved with much grace that it all scream monarch in the soul.
Lorelei, with her wonderful straight hairs, shining like they were part of the light combine and bright smile, worked alongside her, their bond evident in every glance they shared.
Observation was Katiandra's new school these days, this relationship was not only about carnal love, which was fantastic to say the least, it had migrate to something deeper depth, to how to be the perfect match for her partner, it had become a spiritual journey to accomplish what clearly?
That answer was not clear yet but the way to it was getting visible for the brunette woman, in search of answer she had read a part of Christian scripture. The Genesis, the story of
God creation in the beginning of the Bible - Yes, she had her homeworks done too - The Bible was the only book Lorelei had on her everyday, there were always one around. The young woman man was completely educated on all the religious books but one stand out. Which had picked Katiandra's.
One day, in search of answers to her many questions, she opened the book and discovered that the first creation was that of spiritual beings. These beings were designed to work together, accompanying each other on their earthly journey, with each one needing a 'help meet' - a partner to support and complement them.
Katiandra knelt in a new section of the garden, her gloved hands gently transplanting a small plant into its new home. She added a layer of natural compost, ensuring it would grow healthy and strong.
The day was pleasant, with the sun shining lightly on her skin, but her partner had insisted she wear her large summer hat. Whenever she lifted her head, the warm sun danced across her face, softening her features and making her glow.
She worked efficiently, her mind with her mind wandering, drifting to the spiritual teachings she had studied. She pondered the biblical account of creation, where God formed humanity in His own image, male and female.
Like the ying and yang, the two poles of energy that form the universe stable plan. Not freshly but spirit.
This realization brought her comfort, affirming that her life was not an error or a misfit in God's plan like most would argues in long speeches. She recalled the Oracle's words, which had played a big deal in reassuring her of her place in the world.
She knew she did not need it, but humans did, how was she to translate that to those who will want to know how to deal with it.
The discriminatory laws and untold rules surrounding same-sex relationships seemed like a scam to her. In her past, she had devoured books on religion, seeking to understand the way of life, her genius mind starving in a world where nothing was ready to feed it.
She also had read more philosophical books, tiring her mind, finding a stand she thought was solid. Only to become disillusioned with the hypocrisy she witnessed.
The words preached by leaders, religious or leaders, where intentionally twisted and distorted to maintain power and control over others. It was all pretense, a clever manipulation of words to fit the leader's behind it all agenda going on.
A butterfly fluttered around Katiandra, settling on her arm and bringing her back to the present. She smiled at its vibrant wings, then turned to her right, where a cluster of butterflies danced around Lorelei. The young woman seemed oblivious to the commotion, and Katiandra almost laughed at the sight.
None of the butterflies ventured too close to Lorelei, like they were respecting her personal space. Yet, their presence was a gentle reminder that the young woman was not alone. The words she had read earlier echoed in her mind like a repeated mantra: "It is not good for man to be alone." She wondered if this phrase applied to everyone, or if it was specific to certain individuals. Maybe both.
Being the former Queen of Porys, Katiandra had encountered various spiritual seekers who yearned for the kind of connection Lorelei seemed to embody. They were various kind going from preachers, or supposed man of God, whatever their level were, they all sought more power over human they were normally bound to serve. That by itself embodies a sickening need to run away from it but a sincere thing she had learned was that, the true needs not to be defend or proven wrong, it will always expose the lie, like the effect of light on a dark place.
Some of those people that fear not to serve without the smallest amount of love for the people often even resorted to dark powers, Jin, using rings or tokens to conjure what they called miracles, when it is just more darkness. Valley of death the leave behind them of soul that were unlucky enough to follow them.
Katiandra watched the scene before her with a mixture of wonder and trepidation. The butterflies seemed to be making waves in the air, maybe designing something but she was deaf to that language. With a soft smile she just stared, her heart sore for the many that needed to know.
The tragedy of the human kind was that they were estrange of the word of true. If you do not believe, try to discern the true to the lie, all is written but humans go around leaving their destiny to someone else without second guessing their words.
