" Come on love, wake up."

Like a sound that came from heaven, the soft voice ran like honey in the ears of a dreamy brain. Sleeping was something she rarely indulge in, then only under heavy tiredness. Happy to hear the sound of the voice she cherished more than life itself the Queen sighed in her sleep feeling her body relaxed, it had been so long, it felt like she was back in the time when her lover would wake her to eat her divine breakfast.

After a moment she felt her brain freeze for the voice was too clear to come from her tricky mind.

"Honey, w-a-k-e up!"

Surprised by the voice that repeated the sentence more firmly like under some stress, even like a desperate order, Katiandra squeezed her eyes shut too tired to open her eyes, she felt too druggie to move even an inch.

"Honeyyy... Ok. I'm going." Frozen a moment by the fluctuation of the voice she knew means bad news, she shot up on a sitting position on the bed.

Without understanding what was going on her hand went straight to her hairs pushing them behind her ears startled by the person sitting on the mattress near her. She was REAL. Like it could NOT be a dream.

"Lorelei... How? Honey?" Taking her in she stood gracefully like she was moved by an invisible force, almost carried by the air following the woman who was already acting on what she had said, wondering if she was not going mad.

Katiandra felt like one would if a bottle of water appeared suddenly in the middle of a hot desert. It could not be true. Feeling lost she just stood there a moment mouth hanging open for a second.

Shaking her head she blinked multiples times her mind knowing deep down that she was certainly dreaming but her heart wanted to believe it.  She rarely dream like THIS.

Holding her hand up she was about to touch the smiling face two feet away from her when a voice ran around them which belong to none of them. Frowning Katiandra looked that way seeing nothing.

"Lorelei? Come on. Come with me"

It was a woman voice, 'Come with me?'

Without a second glance at her partner Lorelei looked away toward the stranger,  like she was never discussing with Katiandra, with controlled movements she started gathering her belongings from a table not far before looking at the wall.

Frowning the Queen looked up recognizing the exact wall watch that was in all her office, quickly looking around she discovered they were no longer in her bedroom but in an office that looked like Lorelei's, everything was stidy, spotless, so clean she had to smile at that before looking up when the door opened.

Expecting to see the person she waited but only could see a woman hand beckoning the young woman out. The manicured hand indicated it was someone that took good care of themselves. Competition?

"Come on, I promise you we will be able to raise those funds."

Frowning even deeply now the Queen wondered which funds it could be? She had made sure Lorelei lack nothing. Turning her head towards her lover she could tell the truth about the smile she had on. It was politeness. Lorelei was so gentle with people she never really mastered how to say no, she would be good until someone else take that decision for her or she felt so hurt her inner walls will shot so higher the person could not reach her anymore.

'Is it all this is about?'

Pondering on her own question the imposant woman felt a pang in her heart. She felt so guilty for not reaching out for her partner.

' Am I pushing her in that woman arms?'

Even here in whatever this was? Her dream? A vision? She was not so sure. It felt so real she just knew it was to be taken seriously.

Straightening herself as her soulmate moved toward her without actually acknowledging her, like she was invisible. She tried to shake her hand in front of her but it was of no use as something moved in Lorelei gray eyes making her heart missed a few beats, that moment her lover eyes seemed to meet that person eyes from where they stood.

" It better be worth my time." Smiling more tenderly after she had responded, she made a waiting sign to that woman with her free hand.

"Hey, I am not that bad of a company." The reply was so warm it did not take much intelligence or visual proof that the other woman was happy with their small conversation, like it was a win or something.

"Shushhh.  you know I did not meaning it like that."

The way Lorelei lips twisted a little higher after that phrase left her lips, combined with the small light ignited in her gray eyes, had Katiandra hands squeezed in a fists knowing whomever was on the other side of the door was cracking the shell, slowly but they were doing it.

Fear did not have time to make it's way all over her spine that she woke up suffocating in her large bed at the museum.

Taking large gulps of air like someone had squeezed her throat in her sleep, gasping she shook her head, her heart hammering, like she just had the fear of her life.

She made no efforts to look around, she knew her lover was not here. Breathing with difficulties the palm of her trembling hand pressed on her heart trying to soothe it. The only feelings that clouded her mind making her almost ripped her clothes off her was ANGER  with an edge of fear.

The latter was rarely felt so deeply. She had fear of things to happen to her children but THIS was causing her soul to uncomfortably moved inside of her body, she felt out of sort.

"Th-his can not be. NO! I will not allow it. NO ONE TOUCH WHAT IS MINE! NO ONE!"

Almost yelling it she squeezed her left hand on the sheets, holding it in a knot . After letting go, she was abled to get up before she started speedwalking around the room like a lioness caged looking for a way out.

A solution, anything to remind Lorelei of the love she still and forever will have for her. If only she could do that - It was all she needed to keep her sanity.

Looking up to the wall she smiled at the large poster that hung there infront of her bed. It was taken at the opening of the new museum with the artifacts of Gator Discovery. Lorelei was in a dark blue dress that hugged all her body in the limit of safe, it was made only for her, she had made sure of that.

That day, had been something that was engraved in the Queen's mind. It had wowed her, she could not stop smiling by the results of the exposition. Her absence was not felt, they had just mentioned it, but Lorelei had made sure to give her all the credit, like she was reminding the world to not forget about her.

By writing a huge " by KF " Under the name of the  museum at the entrance it read.

"GATOR DISCOVERY by KF"

To answer a journalist about who "KF" was and why not 'Zurow' she had simply answered.

"Katiandra Fendrik is the instigator of this project,  maybe under PORYS lead, but let not forget before she is a Queen, she is a searcher. Professor Fendrik is the one who gave her time and work to make it all possible, not the Queen. This is a well deserved recognition to her genius because we  are not immortal but our legacy is. This was and is her dream comes true, no name should steal that glory. Not mine, nor our Homeland. As this moment is in live back in PORYS I am sure with our ruler and all our fellow citizens that for once Katiandra Fendrik shall be reminded behind our Queen Katiandra Zurrow."

The way Lorelei rocked that opening, the poise she had, the way she had created a shift, an opening for her own name. Had the woman behind the Queen elated, more in love than ever. For the really first time she had listened to people saying her own name to talk about her realisations.

Most had salute the difference Lorelei had made saying it Should not be. All of it had forced Arthur Zurrow to say something on the matter. On the line of PORYS is proud to have the Queen and the genius Katiandra Fendrik Zurrow two monuments in one. It was bittersweet for him to do but still.

It felt so wonderful. The same pride she had feel that day in her office while watching it never failed to raise in her chest each time. To be feeling it, made her more than alive, making her relaxed with more pride and love.

All the channels has chanted Lorelei praises for so long, even now they still find a way to bring her up. That prodigy of PORYS who win all she can touch and still stayed humble to lift up her mentor before her.

Losing herself in her beautiful smile for a moment, the Queen was for the first time aware of the sadness that was there in Lorelei gray gaze imploring her to be seen. Now like a veil was removed she could see through that picture of her partner.

Shaking her head at how blinded  she had been,  the brunette placed her trembling fingers infront of her mouth keeping them there a moment while she pushed her brain in a non stop brainstorming process to finally look over the sky almost imploring the Divinity, she felt so much expectations inside of her heart, so much hope visible in her eyes for whomever could look at her from there.

" What should I do GOD? What should I do? It's been a year. GOD A YEAR! What is wrong with me? I miss you so much my love! I miss you so so much honey. You promised to never forget about me. You promised. God, she said wonderful things about you... I mean she cannot be false. I witnessed it many times. This strange dream or vision--Why showing me THIS!? Is this a warning? What should I do now? I have no one to speak with. God-- So much for being powerful..."

Finally sitting at the end of her bed. Even then gracefully, she let herself slide down to seat on the carpet, less gracefully this time, holding her head in the palms of her hands feeling lost. Lorelei was the only matter were she could easily loss her cool.

Seating there her gaze lost in the contemplation of her white wall her back on the window, she exhaled feeling for the first time since all of this started, the reality of the cage Arthur had built around her, to ensure she could not communicate with the exterior world.

She could do everything from the inside though, even fool herself she was free but could not speak with her lover for fear he would see through their conversation and do something foolish. Agent Karis had warned them to refrain from any form of heavy interactions with the girls. Because of that the Queen with her men had decided to keep it inexistent.

Holding her hands above her head regretting that decision in a way, she leaned her back on the bed resting her weight on it, feeling that her breathing was becoming a problem.

Closing her eyes, she focused to regulate it while the moon light started spreading in the bedroom from the opened wide glass window in her back until it get passed where she was, enlightening all the room like it was plain day, from the covered white floor to the ceiling.

Like a switch was made in her brain as she rested under that natural light which felt like a blanket around her, she remembered the first words of Lorelei in her somewhat vision.

"Wake up love!" Then " I'm going" Those words started going in her mind in repeat. Her brain trying to understand why she had to say those words specifically? And more importantly, Why now?

Closing her eyes she inhaled and exhaled trying to make place in her brain for the answer. For a moment there was nothing but silence and warm from the moon light it felt like she was not alone after all. Focusing she rest her head back. Here she was trying to imitate something she had seen her soulmate do many times.

Then just like that, she remembered one of their conversation after she had send Kayley away, Lorelei has said to her something that was imprinted on her brain and soul from that day. So young but so much wiser than her. That she knew said something about their dynamic.

She had said

"Life is first spiritual. Whatever we think we know is not what it all is -seriously - everything happens in the spiritual world before materializing in the physical. It seems stupid to said, but you know, it is not less true. "

That phrase reminded to her in that moment, was like the switch of a light, suddenly enlightening the dark place her soul had become, like the moon just physically did in her bedroom that was dark before.

Like a jolt of electricity powering her inner self, it started putting her in motion as it moved. Lifting herself up the Queen walked in her bathroom replaying all. She was sure now that it was a vision of what could be in her future if she did not "wake up" of her inaction. What she knew for sure was she was not about to give a damn place to that woman.

"huh huh."

Thinking it all through again to see if she had all she needed to understand and react properly, she gracefully removed her nightgown before putting it in the bucket heading straight after under the cold running water her mind on overdrive.
