"Now Katiandra I have to go I wished you a bright life okay!"
"Thanks you my Queen. Thanks you sooo much. This is the best day ever."
Laughing at her words, the Queen stood up looking straight at her mother.
"In which school is she going?"
"She's at Clement highschool. In first grade." The proud way the woman said that caught Katiandra attention staring at the small one at her feet she kneeled back to make it easy for her to answer.
"How all are you precious?"
"I'm eight today is my birthday. I get the best gift ever."
Suprised at the turn of events and the fact that she was really young Katiandra just smiled at her innocent eyes on her reminding her of what Lorelei told her on her younger self and her desiring to be in her school.
"Ah happy birthday Katiandra and a lot of good things in your life. I didn't knew it was your birthday but how about you come in my school, as smart as you are I'm sure you will kick it all there. That is just what the Katiandra do hmm?"
Awestruck by what she just heard she suddenly became shy staring at her mother who placed herself behind her caressing the soft hairs tears in her own eyes.
"You mean it?"
"Babydoll I always means what I said. Wait..." Taking her phone out of her purse she looked at her mother questioningly " her entire name please?"Â Writing the name on her phone message place she added her wishes, stood up taking pictures of the three children then send it to Lorelei.
"Mrs Carmen you will take them to Zurow High on Monday. Everything will be taken care of, the person I send the informations to is trustworthy..."
"My siblings will be with me too?" The frail voice made cut her phrase making her looked down smiling tenderly, even feeling shy she found the courage to speak her mind off.
"Yes babydoll your siblings will be there with you I'm sure they are as equally smart, everyone is in a different way."
"Mama always said that."
"You Mama is right. Never forget that, you are precious." Looking up she stare at her siblings winking at then.
"You too. Be good to your mother and take care of this little one here, she may look all smart but she needs as much love. Don't let her tough character fool you. I know it by experience." The two teens nodded at her then looked at theirs rambunctious little sister.
Kissing her forehead after hugging her one last time, Katiandra smiled at their mother sweetly.
"You really have precious children. I really have to go now. Bright life Katie, and the three of you" Smiling at her the small girl whose eyes never let her go, she was about to turn around when she took a hold of her hand.
" May God blessed you my Queen. Like really really a lot." Waving at her as she mouth a " Thanks you, you too." She motioned at Norman to give her the camera that she gave herself to the mother back making sure she save it before leaving.
The family stood there silently not believing what just happened to them.
"Mama I am awake right?"
Nodding at her daughter afraid voice, the woman showed her the video that she saved on her cloud after sending it to her sister in case the security erase it she saw how the man wasn't keen of her filming.
As she rounded the corner of the hallway toward the administrative staff office, Katiandra motioned at her guards to give her time. Walking by herself in her thoughts she heard something that was in between a squeal and a moan coming out of the door just near the wall she was leaning on.
When the sound repeat faintly bit still there she looked at her guards her blood bumping in her veins, her eyes widened when she saw what was written on the door, head of traumatology Amara Killian, alerted by a sudden movement on her right opposite where her bodyguards was just to see her husband nearing where she was making her blood get cold.
She was sure it was two women in the room, Katiandra knocked furiously on the door doing her best for her husband to not see her before she get inside of the office she made noise on. "If you know what is good for you opened the door Killian." Shouting in a low tone to be heard from the other side she hope her presumption was right and they were near the door.
Removing her hand from Malone pants, doctor Killian froze at the voice she heard and knew, which startled both of them when she whispered shout again "Killian now!" Doing as said she opened it, the woman closed it behind her, the palm of her hand colliding with her face as soon as she saw Malone pushing her pants up.
"What..." Shushing her with her index on her own lips, she leaned on the door as they straightened themselves understanding that she was certainly saving theirs asses, what they were doing was punished by death in PORYIS.
A deep frown appeared on the surgeon face as she get pale all of a sudden, remembering that the king was to come visit the Blake in the afternoon looking at her wristwatch she saw that what she thought could do thirty minutes made one hour and a half. Looking at her Queen afraid of what could happen to them she tried her best to stay focus.
"Don't you have a perfume or something, you don't need to be deaf or blind to smell what happened in here. Self control is important in certain situations if you want to stay alive, it's not me who has to teach you that doctor Killian, you said that to your patients everyday. How about doing it yourself? You are trying to get yourself kill or what? This is your lucky day. Get yourself behind your desk miss Malone seat there. Now!"
As soon as they both did the doorknob turned letting in none other than Arthur Zurow Alister in all his glory , the man never knocked, if he doesn't it was considered suspected to close the door.. Looking straight in front of him, his eyes landed on two women he quiet didn't knew his searching eyes finally landed on his wife.
"Ah! There she is! Mrs Alister your are a sight for sore eyes my queen I missed you." Kissing her on the lips lovingly taking advantage of the moment to explore her mouth he finally let go smiling smugly at himself.
"You have quiet a fame today, the guards told me about the small girl in the hallway." Turning to the women now up to show respect to him, he nodded his head for them to sit back.
"She really is something else, she just have an eight years old life change just by being her, I bet you she will be forever you fan number one."
Glancing at her, Amara moved in her seat trying her best to not show her discomfort.
"Children really love your Excellency wife, she is like a mother to everyone."
"That she is right? That is why I love her so much! By the way what are you doing here?" Squinting his eyes he looked at her waiting.
"Not much, I just wanted to breath away of people for a moment, I tried the door and it was opened. Miss Malone was telling me about the US procedure about Blake children."
"That, doctor Williams said everything was already so I don't think that should bring any problem miss Malone. Barrett know that we do all we can to be in good terms with his country. No one can hold it against her to have a big heart."
"That is true. It's really amazing your Excellency." Malone said her heart going crazy behind the smiling face she was pulling.
"Honey how about we go see the children now, I've already stretch my legs enough. Ladies take care." Walking out with her husband not sparing a glance at the two women she just save she let them to solve theirs mess by themselves not wanting to be a part in that at least they were still alive to do so.
"It was a close call, she just saved our Lives. Whoa, I was never so reckless, better a slap than a gun shot in both our brains." Racking her stare on her young lover Amara bit her lip feeling something in her heart she never felt before.
"We will figure something out. Now you must go, to not raise more suspicions. Stay out of trouble." Sending her a quizzical stare as she stood Malone took the card she handed her with her personal phone number on the back.
" What? I just happened to not handle well sharing what is mine."
Blushing hard at her comment Eva turned her back to her, before she exited the room she felt soft lips on the back of her neck spreading small kisses before she took a hold of her head crashing her lips on hers in a hard kiss pushing her tongue as far as she could, literally devouring her.
"Now... Hmm, you can go my dear. If you don't call me I will show up there and make you scream my name in front everyone." Smiling as she petted her head Eva nodded.
" That is what I thought, good girl. Now do me a favor, keep that pretty smile of yours for me or when you will be out of this hospital all alone texting me in your office or place. No one can see you walking out of here smiling it will ruin my reputation. I'm that heartless bitch everyone fear around, it is good to cover up."
Just nodding Eva inhaled the woman scent one last time before walking out off the office her face blank, while the surgeon locked her door sliding down on it a daze.
Smiling at the Blake as her husband had his hand around her waist, Katiandra looked up to the one and only Eva Malone at the other side of the hospital glass doors she knew her well, startling her at the way she reacted moving her eyes away from her briskly toward a man she started talking to. A gosh of a smile on her lips the Queen eyes averted to the head of the hospital Mr Williams who was currently answering to her husband.
She knew deep down that things was going in her favor, she could see how the young Eva responded to doctor Killian touch, that was sure something she could chew on in the futur they both knew that they would've been deaths if her husband had caught them instead of her.
As Killian knew sitting in her office her eyes fixated on her daughter smiling face on the picture she had of her, life has no price. She tried to not think about the price she will have to pay to the woman that save hers and the woman she was already unable to stop thinking about there were something with her that had her instantly hocked so many years of experience that built her a reputation just for it to end with her infatuation with the worse nightmare she could have ever think about.
It was dangerous to feel like that, highly not recommended but she felt helpless how her heart reacted to the situation, she never felt that in all her life, she even thought at some point she just had to focus on her work because feeling wasn't made for her far away was the thought of passion it was some kind of taboo around in their society even thinking about that was letting yourself in trouble.
Alister Zurow family had everything set to be the image of the perfect seclude society where everything was set perfectly to mirror the way things have to be.
For as long as she could remember it never bothered her, even she rolled her eyes at the comments saying there were violation of humans rights in her society, now that it concerned her directly she could only confirm that the Zurow family was the nightmare of decades of minorities and what hurt the most was it was near to stop.
Cautious they will have to be to ensure to make what they had work.
