Back at the mansion, the breakfast was still going on, the warm, golden light of the morning sun streaming in through the patio doors.

Despite the previous incident the air was filled with profound calm, try were all simply in the moment, like nothing had happened, the coziness creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The scent of freshly brewed coffee and baked pastries wafted through the room, teasing the senses and adding to the cozy ambiance.

Katiandra sat at the head of the table, her eyes fixed on her oldest daughter, who sat beside her. The said daughter's eyes met her mother's, and a silent conversation passed between them.

Katiandra's eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze piercing and intense, as she thought about Michaela and the potential threat she posed to her family. She was almost making all the possibilities to see no drama in the future in her mind

The breakfast continued for a moment in silence before Katiandra addressed the elephant in the room. "I did not know Alicia made a friend here?" Her voice was laced with a subtle warning, her eyes narrowing slightly as she awaited Lorelei's response.

Knowing where it was all going, Lorelei shook her head positively, meeting Katiandra's serious eyes.

"Love, Michaela is one person who sticks around after the project. Blake works with her all the time, which means we get to see her here and there. No big deal..."

Accepting the orange juice that the young woman served her, Katiandra nodded, reading Lorelei like an open book. She had nothing to reproach her for, so she let it go.

"Hmm. How is Blake?" Katiandra asked, her voice softening slightly as she put her almost empty glass on the table.

A lingering moment passed where Lorelei choose not to answer, like she heard nothing. Knowing her, it was a sign that what happened earlier was not sitting well in her. To filled the stretching silenceKayley responded softly,

"I think she's good." Taking the situation in, her oldest daughter decided there should be something done to finish with this situation.

That is why with more determination she firmly kept her gaze anchored in her mother's one making her arched her perfect eyebrows.

"This situation is a bit tense, so I think you should call her yourself to set things straight."

That answer of katiandra's oldest daughter had Lorelei's gaze settled on her for a moment to the point one could feel uncomfortable but Kayley did not back off, looking her straight in the eyes daring her to say it was not necessary.

Tired of it, Lorelei gaze wandered from one to the other, deep and long assessing the two Fendrik's postures. It was useless to fight with them she resolved breathing out but fought to not rolled her eyes, deciding to let them do their thing.

Of what she knew the two women were alike in many ways, one way was to sometimes set things straight with no form of emotions. Just disposing of things like that was no big deal, maybe it was actually the fact but the ruthless in the action was disturbing sometimes.

For this particular situation Lorelei thought was not as negative as one could think since it was needed. She was not naive enough to think it was all done and said with what happened earlier. Katiandra was meant to react, at least be it in a polite way. Blake was the best bet here.

chosing not to add anything else after that was said, Queen Katiandra's eyes, which had diverted for a split second to take in her partner reaction, immediately set back in her daughter's clear stare.

Then she had to move it again to the door her younger daughter had exited earlier her mind at peace knowing a solution was already there for her to not have a brainstorming session on the matter.

Just then, a door of the library that gave right ont the breakfast room burst open, and Benoit, strode in in a hurry, by the way his face was shining his phonecall was certainly successful.

His cheerful stance and bright smile immediately lifted the mood in the room.

"Good morning, everyone!" he exclaimed, his voice booming through the room making the others looking at him strangely like he had lost it. Smiling he lifted his hand up quizzically.

"What? I just started over again, like that this time nothing will spoi- no. Nothing will Interrupt my breakfast. So what is it you were all talking about?"

He made his way around the table, greeting each person with a warm smile and a kiss on the cheek. 'He was actually serious!' Kayley thought while he reached Katiandra's side, it was clear to him she was tensed, her hole body rigid like those ancient monarch of the past time.

Frantically, his gaze wandered on the table, it was like they had waited him to come back, or something else had happened. Food was almost untouched, and Alicia absence was blatant, which was weird.

Standing behind her, leaned in her personal space kissed her on both cheeks, making her smile and momentarily forget the recent altercation she had. He

"A frowning Queen can be a curse on her kingdom. Do not bring it here. Her smile is like rainbow that keeps all afloat. Sooo, a smileee."

Chuckling at his childish manners while his arms were still audaciously but so naturally around her shoulders while he looked at her from the side of her left.

His true and piercing gaze searching her, all Katiandra could see was the purity of his soul, there were nothing vile in there, he lived for this moment, like a moto that drove all his life.

Happy with the fact that she had not rebuked him, he squeezed her shoulders before murmuring in he ear though everyone could hear.

"Yeah!! I like the sounds of that beautiful sound. Like everyone here I am sure. You even have your fan club near you. Right Lo?"

Lorelei rolled her eyes good-naturedly seeing that, but was thankful that her lover had found her smile back as Benoit hugged her and sat down beside her.

"You're certainly making an entrance this morning," she teased. Benoit grinned, unfazed. "Hey, someone has to bring some energy to this table," he said, scooping up a forkful of eggs "it felt like someone had died. I am magic too, see how all of you are smiling like mad women now".

Letting his words bring another wave of lightheaded laugh, Benoit began to eat, the conversation around the table resumed, with everyone chatting in lower voices..

Whatever happened Katiandra's eyes never left her oldest daughter's face, her expression thoughtful and intense, she understood what Kayley wanted to tell her. While she continued to ponder the potential threat that Michaela represent. Her mind was racing with thoughts of how to protect her family, and she knew that she had to take action soon.

Breathing out to push it all out of her mind she smiling broadly when Lorelei's laugh reached her ear, it always acted like the softest cover for her soul, making her heart tumbled falling in love all over again reminding her she had nothing to fear.
