“Nothing.” Chloe put the laptop back in the drawer, “Can I help you?”

“Noah is here.” Said Mrs. Chamber.

Chloe was a little surprised, “He’s back?”

Mrs. Chambers nodded, “I heard he just got back, he came looking for you, Chloe…”

“Mom.” Chloe waved “no” at her mother.

She knew what she meant.

It couldn’t be anything other than being with Sean, she thought she and Sean were a good match.

Mrs. Chambers didn’t know that Eddie wanted her to marry Matthew.

Chloe got up and went to the door.

Mrs. Chambers didn’t give up and continued, “Chloe, our family and the Harris Family are perfect…”

Chloe thought for a while, it seemed she was right, “It’s been two years, the last time I saw you was New Year’s, you haven’t been back in the last two years.”

“Time flies so fast, you’ve grown into a woman, do you have a boyfriend?”

When Sean asked her about having a boyfriend, she saw Matthew’s face in her mind, the apple she was chewing suddenly became sweeter, she smiled, “Yes I do.”

“Wow, you have high expectations, who can live up to them?” Chloe was very picky, Marina once told her that she had been on blind dates before and just left them, she would be too blunt and just say the person was too ugly.

Sean stood up, “Let’s go.”

“Where are we going?” Chloe asked.

Sean looked at her, a strange look passed in his eyes, “You’ll see when we get there.”

“Are you trying to surprise me?” Chloe asked with a laugh.

Sean looked at her and narrowed his eyes, “Something like that.”
