âA little bit.â The CEOs of several branches had toasted him, he had to drink.
He moved even closer, the warm air of his words sprayed next to his face, tingling and stinging. Dolores turned her head slightly to the side. Matthew pinched her face to make her straighten up and looked at him. He asked, âDoes that smell bad?â
Dolores nodded, âItâs all the smell of alcohol, what do you think?â
âThen Iâm going to take a bath.â He stifled a laugh, âDo you want to take a bath with me?â.
Dolores blushed with embarrassment and pushed him, âDonât be silly.â
Seeing her blush, he smiled even wider. He got out of bed and headed for the bathroom.
Soon the sound of running water came from the bathroom.
Dolores wrapped herself tightly in the bedspread. She was inexplicably nervous.
Soon after, a deep voice came from the bathroom, âHelp me with the clothes.â Dolores looked up and glanced at the glass bathroom door, remembering that she had put on the only bathrobe she had when she showered. Now there was none inside.
She held her forehead because she forgot to put another set inside.
She got up and went to the closet to get a new set. She prepared these household items when she moved here. She tore off the tag, walked to the bathroom door and called, âHere you go.â
Soon, the bathroom door opened and she was grabbed by the wrist.
Before she could react, she was pulled inside and pinned against the wall.
She had just taken a shower. The entire bathroom was fogged up. Her firm body was covered with dense drops of water.
âWhat are you doing⦠Hmmâ¦â
Before he could finish his words, he kissed her on the lips and drowned in his passion.
â¦
A pair of shadows moved on the glass bathroom door.
It was hot and long.
Dolores didnât know when it would end. In the end, she lost her strength and leaned on him to hold her, otherwise she would have laid down.
Dazed, she was carried to bed and wrapped in the comforter. She was exhausted, but there was still someone making a mess in her mouth. She used all her strength to bite his lips. Matthew frowned and soon stretched his eyebrows. He asked in a muffled voice, âDo you still want to continue?â
âIdiot!â rebuked Dolores angrily, but she was so tired that the word that came out of her was as if she were acting coquettishly.
Her body was covered with his marks. He knew she was really tired, so he didnât continue to torment her, but held her close and fell asleep. He gently stroked her back and coaxed her, âIâm an idiot, Iâm an idiotâ¦â
Dolores slept soundly. When she woke up, there was no one around her.
She got up, picked up the phone from the table and looked at the time. It was almost one oâclock. She opened her eyes wide. Had she slept all morning?
It wasnât just Matthew. Victoria and Jayden were here too. Why hadnât she woken up?
What would the others think of her?
She quickly lifted the quilt and got out of bed. She wasnât sure if it was because she was moving too fast or because she had been âroughed upâ by Matthew the night before, her legs weakened and she almost fell. Luckily, she quickly grabbed onto the bedside table to keep from falling. She stood up and rested for a while before walking. When she went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth, she noticed the marks Matthew had left on her. She frowned, how could she come out and see the others?
In her mind, she went back to cursing Matthew over and over a thousand times.
After washing her face and brushing her teeth, she went to the closet to get a black turtleneck sweater and a plaid skirt. After primping, she went downstairs.
She was slightly relieved not to see Victoria and Jayden in the living room, otherwise she would be embarrassed.
âAre you up yet?â It was New Yearâs Eve and no one was in the villa, so they called her to spend New Yearâs Eve with them. She greeted Dolores when she saw her.
Dolores scratched a handful of hair to hide her discomfort. She didnât meet Coralâs eyes and emitted a faint âhmmâ.
At the sound of Doloresâ voice, Matthew closed his computer. He was looking at the year-end report but didnât want to look at it now. He got up from the couch and looked at her, âYouâll be hungry, wonât you?â.
Dolores ignored him because she was angry.
She went downstairs and headed to the dining room.
Coral smiled, âThereâs rice heating up for you in the kitchen, Iâm going to get it for you.â
Dolores pulled out a chair and sat down while Coral brought her the hot dishes. Seeing Matthew enter, she stepped out with an air of astonishment, âItâs snowing outside, Iâll go to the patio and enjoy the snowy scene.â
Matthew came up behind her back, rested his hands on both her sides and brought his lips close to her ear, âAre you angry?â.
Dolores buried her head, held the bowl in both hands and took a sip of hot soup.
She treated Matthew completely like air.
Matthew kissed her cheek. The more Dolores ignored him, the more reckless he became, her hand went down from the hem of his shirt to his sweaterâ¦.
âMatthew!â Dolores was annoyed and stood up angrily to glare at him, âYou want to be cheeky? If people see this, do you plan to never date again?â
Seeing his angry face, he thought it was endearing and laughed lightly, âNo oneâs home.â
Victoria and Jayden had left early in the morning with the two children and had said they wouldnât be back until evening.
No one was home.
âWhy didnât you call me in the morning? Youâre not the only one here, thereâs a whole family. All the adults and children have woken up and Iâm the only one sleeping, what do you want the grown-ups to think of me, have they ever thought of me?â
âI see you are very tired.â Last night, when she came back, it was late, and she? had barely slept until morning, so she slept soundly. How could he have the nerve to wake her?
Matthew came over and hugged her. Dolores pulled her hands away.
She was afraid of Matthew.
Matthew ignored her resistance and wrapped her tightly in his arms. To keep her from resisting, he pressed her hands to his firm chest. He pressed against her slender back, nibbled on her ear, and asked, âDid I hurt you last night?â
Doloresâ eyes were lowered, with slight traces of water in them. She had begged him for mercy many times, but he didnât want to let her go.
To this day, she still had a burning sensation.
Matthew buried his head in the crook of her neck. He lost control as he wanted her so badly. He hoped he could pull her inside his body.
He wanted to make her part of his body.
âI donât know whatâs wrong with me, I canât control it.â Her voice trailed off in his ears.
He had lived over thirty years. He had endured for a long time. It was terrifying once it was released.
He lifted his face from the corner of her neck and rubbed his cheek against hers, âIâll be gentler next time.â
Dolores squirmed and rubbed, âYou, can you not?â
âNo!â He could obey her and comply with everything, but not this.
He coaxed her, not daring to scare her, âIâm a normal man, Iâll get sick if I hold it in too long. Three times a day, can you?â
This was truly a wedding night for Matthew. It was the first time he felt her taste and the first time he was a man while conscious.
Dolores was speechless.
She couldnât bear it, âOnce.â
âNo.â
âThen donât speak any more.â Dolores was determined.
Matthew blinked. Her thick lashes brushed the corners of her eyes, it was a little tickle. She cocked her head to one side. Matthew thought she was angry and sighed inwardly.
âIâll listen to you, once.â Once was fine, heâd make it longer.
Really, it wasnât much of a loss.
He kissed the corners of her eyes, her cheeks and slowly worked his way down to kissing her neck.
Dolores almost collapsed and said, âI havenât eaten yet.â
Matthew was stunned for a while. Although he was reluctant, he let her go. She was already so thin, if she didnât eat enough, would she break her waist?
Just then Matthewâs phone rang, which he had left on the couch.
Dolores found an excuse to get rid of him, âGo answer the call.â
Matthew pushed his chair away, âYou sit down first.â
Dolores sat obediently. She behaved well. Matthew kissed her forehead, âEat more, youâre too thin.â
Dolores said nothing, but stuffed her mouth with food.
Matthew smiled and went to get the cell phone that was still ringing on the couch.
He picked it up and Boyceâs voice came from the other end.
âIs this Matthew?â he feared the person answering the phone wasnât Matthew, so he wanted to make sure first.
His voice sounded urgent.
Matthew frowned, âItâs me.â
Then only Boyce dared to say reassuringly, âRandolph has passed away.â
